I actually really liked this primer. I probably won't buy it again because I have a million other primers to get through but I liked how cooling and moisturising this was and how it sunk quickly into the skin. I don't much like australis products so it was a pleasant surprise.

Reviews
I purchased this at my local chemist where you got a free compact when you spent so much so I thought I would give this a go.
The primer itself has neither a creamy nor silicon feel to it, I find that it feels quite wet and light. It comes out white and goes onto my skin clear and does not have much of a smell to it.
The wet texture does feel quite refreshing on my face but I do not find that this makes my face feel smoother like some other primers I have tried. Even though the primer does feel wet it absorbs into my skin quickly and I do not have to wait a few minutes for it to set. A down side to this is that I have to apply it all over my face quickly before it sinks in to get good coverage.
This primer does work at keeping my foundation on for most of my 8 hour work day. But I do find it starting to wear off in the last couple of hours. Even though it does start to wear off it keeps my make up on for a lot longer than if I did not use primer at all.
It is packaged in a simple white tube with an easy to screw lid. You do not need much product to get full coverage therefore for the price and amount of product you receive this is a pretty fair deal.
I continue to use this product as my every day for work primer and I would mostly likely repurchase this again if there was a good deal on Australis products. If I was going out for a special occasion or needed to have my makeup stay on amazing all day then I would use one of my other primers that has abit more staying power.
Hands down the worst primer I have ever used in my life. It did nothing except for sting my skin and make little bumps form on it. It's quite pricy too; there are many more affordable and better options out there so I'd definitely give this a pass! The formula was also very thin and watery so I don't see how it could have worked out.
You know how you try some products and can't imagine anyone surviving without them? This isn't one of those. I love this, but I am 99% sure it won't suit a lot of people. It's very runny, takes a long time to absorb into the skin, and is a weird texture. However, for my combination skin, without any real 'problem' area's, I found this perfect. It was refreshing to apply in the morning, gave me time to eat breakfast while it dries. It just suited my routine really well and worked really well with my skin. I haven't tried the new formulation yet, will update once I have tried it also.
I like this primer, at first i found it quite a weird texture and applied quite oily, but left skin feeling super soft and worked really well with the foundation i was using.
I haven't repurchased because I've been exploring other primers. wouldn't recommend this product to someone with oily skin. maybe i'll repurchase one day.
I had high hopes for this primer but it didn't work for me like I had hoped!
I do like the feel of this primer when I first put it on my skin, although in saying that it is quite 'wet' and doesn't really feel like it absorbs properly, so leaves my skin feeling damp for a lot longer than I would like.
Because of the watery texture and lack of absorption I was apprehensive about it's promise to keep my makeup on for longer - and it didn't. I think it is a bit of a weird product as it doesn't really seem to serve any purpose other than putting extra product on my face.
This seemed to make my face oilier by the end of the day and my makeup definitely didn't stay on longer, it slid around more!
Not a huge fan of the packaging either and for what it is I think the product is over priced.
I don't mind it as a everyday primer, it is rather runny and I'm not a fan of the smell. I don't think it does much apart from adding moisture for smooth application of foundation. It does not fill in any lines or pores but saying all that I do still use it
For days that I want my makeup to last longer I will apply the australis primer then use my NP set liquid veil over then mineral powder
I would not buy it again when it runs out
I never thought I would find my ultimate favourite primer especially as a free gift with purchase product.
I have normal skin so when I search for a priming product I don't tend to find a particular formula. The consconsistency reminds me of a light watery gel which isn't too thick or too runny. It is very easy to apply evenly and it feels refreshing on the skin. It is very lightweight on the skin.
This primer makes any of my foundations apply smoother. I feel like this primer doesn't have a particular finish but it still makes your foundation look flawless and photoready. I find that my foundation does stay on longer using this product and you look less cakey.
I used this primer briefly last summer and found that my make up would not stay in place for longer than the 15 minutes after I had applied it. Has the silicone-y texture like most primers. Can be very drying to if you don't use a decent moisturiser before applying this primer. Had high hopes! but I was disappointed.
I bought this primer from Farmers as it caught my eye whilst looking at other Australis products and I couldn't resist buying it to try due to the price. The product comes in a simple white tube that is extremely convenient to use. The tube squeezes out a perfect amount of primer at a time. It isn't like other primers I have used that are too runny and squirt out too much. This is a plus for me, as it means a lot less waste and makes the product last longer.
The primer itself is a weird, silicone feeling consistency. It isn't sticky, but not creamy either. I found it quite difficult to apply as it dried within seconds and afterwards my face felt like I hadn't applied any primer at all. It's like it just disappeared! It also had a strange smell, which didn't make the product too pleasant to use, especially on top of the consistency.
I found that it didn't enhance the wear of my make up at all, and actually decreased the condition of my foundation. It made my foundation look blotchy and patchy which has not happened with other primers I have used. I found that without this product, my make up lasted the same amount of time and I didn't have the patchy look either.
I have tried this product by itself and also tried it after using a couple of different moisturisers, and have had the same results no matter what. I do have a dry skin, so that may be the reason it doesn't work for me, but despite the cheap price I won't be buying this product again.
