Rewind back to the days when I was at Cut above academy it felt like I had hit the jackpot when I had seen this online. I was also freelancing on the side and knew this would be perfect and easy to take with me in my kit instead of carrying 6 items I would just be carrying this in my makeup kit.
It is a big contour kit, If you have the Australis or ABH one this would be twice the size. Even though it is large it can still fit into my makeup back and makeup kit.
The packaging is quite budget, the plastic is very fragile and a few friends who had this had their dreams shattered when they dropped theirs and it broke the powders. I had mine for a year before I accidently dropped mine and the white and beige shade broke into pieces, I had to be extremely careful when opening and closing my palette as it went everywhere!
The 2 blushes in this palette are a rose color and a coral color, the rose color was my most favourite of the 2 as it can be used on a large variety of people, it also gave a good "flushed look" to my cheeks, the bronzer has a warm undertone to it, it also comes with a matte yellow powder, a white and a beige powder used for highlighting. These colors are versatile and fit a wide range for woman with color, you only need a small amount of each product and it is build-able. It is best to apply these with a fluffy brush so you achieve a more natural look, these powders are very pigmented. The yellow powder is one I didnt like, it would be patchy in some places and hard to blend, the white shade is one that was OK to use, it was too bold on medium to dark skin tones so I would use this for when I did face painting to set the white face paint, or for extreme makeup looks.
I had this palette for 5 years before it was all used up, I highly recommend this for beginners that are new to contouring or freelancing, its a cheap and inexpensive palette.
I love this contour and blush palette. You can't go wrong considering how cheap it is compared to many other contour palettes in the market.
I love the blush colours, they are highly pigmented and easy to blend.
The dark brown contour colour is very strong so needs to be applied with a light hand and you can easily build it up to your liking.
I find the white shade which I assume is for highlighting a bit too white for my skintone. I haven't found another use for this one yet but I will be trying it as an eyeshadow base or brow highligher to see how well it works.
The palette is slim enough to fit in my makeup bag and it isn't heavy or bulky which I love.
All in all I think this palette is amazing and is a must have for anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to many other expensive contour palettes.
Tips: Start off with a light hand and build up to suit yourself
