Every freelancer should have one of these!

I purchased this around 5 years ago just after i graduated makeup school, i brought it for $40, i had saved a little each week as back then i was so poor and these palettes were the new thing! Its a must have blush palette, it has a variety of colours to suit any skin type, whenever i was asked to do a makeup job this was always an item i brought along with me, very lightweight and easy to carry in your makeup case or makeup bag. It is very pigmented and a small amount goes a long way, i learnt this the hard way as some clients started with bright chunks of pinks! They are easy to blend and build up, glide on the cheeks with ease and theyre also great to put on the lips. The downfall of this palette is the colours didnt last, about 2 hours before it would start fading, i also had an accident where i dropped this and it broke a few of the colours. I also brought the BH contour palette, the 2 palettes are unstoppable! If your wanting this for yourself or to add to your makeup kit its worth it and is much cheaper than what i paid years ago.

So many options!

I purchased this palette from Doll Me Up a few months ago. I was sick of buying individual blush shades for such high price, this palette appealed to me for the obvious reasons - tons of colours and the super affordable price!

The palette is a matte black very sleek case and it opens and closes easily. The blushes are the same size as most standard blushes which is awesome! So many palettes that come with blush shades tend to be really small and end up being really difficult to get your brush into.

The pigmentation of these blushes is fantastic! The colour pay off is brilliant and I recommend using a very light hand to begin with and then slowly build the colour up. The colours are very universal, they're pretty and look lovely and natural on the face.

The colour doesn't last on the cheeks as long as I would like it to but that's ok, the price means I have no issue reapplying!

Tips: Make sure you set your make up with a setting spray to give the blush a few extra hours of wear =)

Good pigmentation but doesn't last all day..

This palette has a great range which will suit all skin shades. The colours have good pigmentation but I have found they don't have the staying power that the more expensive blushes do. The palette itself is a handy size, not bulky and it is easy to open.

Tips: Apply when your foundation is still slightly tacky so it adheres to your skin better and use a setting spray.

Beautiful range of colours

I purchased my blush palette from Beauty Joint. I chose it because I wanted a range of colours to go with different looks, but didn't want to commit to buying an individual blushes. This palette, at a low price point, gave me a chance to try many colours.

The pigmentation when first applied is very good, however unfortunately the colour does not last longer than 6 hours and because of the size of palette, it's not like I can put this in my bag for a top up!

I would repurchase, but only for particular looks rather than day to day wear that needs to be long lasting.

Tips: Purchase yours directly from BH Cosmetics, it's cheaper than Beauty Joint!

Love the range of colours

Great affordable blush palette. This was more of an impulse buy for me but in saying that i am happy to own it and do use it quite alot. The pigmentation is pretty good but unfortunately it does not last all day. It has a good range of colours and quite alot of product in each pan.

Tips: You can also use these blushes as eyeshadows!!

Great for beginners

I received this palette last year when I was still new to the makeup world. I don't even think I owned a blush at this point, so having so many colour options was such a treat! You have a good range of shades and finishes and if the colour you want isn't in here, you can probably layer different colours to get the shade you're after!

The product isn't too powdery, is pretty blendable and isn't very pigmented, which again is perfect for beginners, and to be honest, even now I still prefer less pigment in my blush so I can build it up to my desired colour/intensity. The biggest downfall for me was that the blush didn't last all day so I would have to layer it over top of another blush that I knew would last.

The palette itself feels a bit cheap because the case is just a thin plastic cover, so I never took it travelling etc. I actually really enjoy this palette but just never reach for it because of the fact it's in a palette, I always reach for my single blushes, so will be passing it on for someone else to enjoy now.

A great start into using blush

Embarrassingly, this is probably the oldest makeup item that I have in my collection that I still use. I want to say that it's at least 4 or 5 years old! I know! I have actually decided to use it until the end of the year and then I will be chucking it out.

This was my first blush purchase. Before this, blush had kind of scared me as I thought you could only look like a clown while using it. At the time, I'd been watching a lot of makeup tutorials on youtube and this palette had come up quite a few times as being good for beginners. I don't think I paid much for it, maybe $10? There is 10 full size blushes in it so even for $25 it's only $2.50 per blush.

This palette is just a sleek, long black case. It does up securely and also opens up easily. I would love it if it had a see through lid so you can see the colours more easily but otherwise it's fine. I've never travelled with it before but I can see it being a convenient way to take lots of blushes with you.

This palette has pretty much every colour you need to start with, there are cool and warm tones, brights and pastels, plus shimmers and mattes. A downside to this though is that unless you re using this with your friends who have different skintones to you, not every shade will suit. I'm fair skinned and the bright oranges and pinks look crazy on me. Even blended out they are still very pigmented. The shade I've used most is the cool toned pink in the top row, I've actually hit pan on it. There are 4 other lighter shades that I use sometimes, some peaches and a rosey pink but the others are too bright. If this palette wasn't so old, I would gift it to someone else to get some use out of.

I do think the blushes have a good pigment to them. The brighter ones are better of course and I also think the brighter ones have a better formula as the are less powdery. These sit nicely on my face and are mostly easy to blend. I do find they fade the fastest out of all my makeup but they seem to fade off evenly.

Would I recommend this? Yes I would to someone who doesn't own any blushes or maybe only has one and wants to explore some different colours. If you own quite a few blushes, then I don't think you would get as much use out of this palette. I'm not sure if I would purchase this again. I do like the 5 colours but I also own a lot of other blushes that I'd like to use more of.

Hardly any color payoff :(

I am a blushaholic when I saw this I knew I had to get it. To my disappointment there is very little payoff. The colors are beautiful but there is hardly any pigment. This palette might be perfect for fair skin tones but anything darker would have to be applied with a very heavy hand.

Good start into the blush world

I bought this palette a few years ago when I first discovered BH Cosmetics during the dark ages when shipping to NZ was still $25 (haha) thank goodness thats changed.

The blushes come in a sleek, plastic matte compact - easy to clean and light to travel with. I'm not too sure what the "professional" part of the name refers to but I'm not sure how many professional MUA would resort to this palette unless you're starting out in the freelancing work and can't afford the high-end products yet.

It's an entirely matte blush palette with a gorgeous selection of pinks (5), orange peach (2) and brown nudes (3). The darker shades are more pigmented, vibrant and less chalky than the lighter shades. They have a semi-buttery texture but each blush kicks up as much powder as the other which is rather disappointing and messy. There wasn't a time I used this that I didn't have to wipe it down.

I have oily skin so the powder pretty much clung to me throughout the day however for the lighter shades they were non-existent by the afternoon. I would recommend this for those starting out in makeup because it gives a good range of colours and allows you to find a shade that works for you.

Good for beginers

This was one of my first blushes ever. Bought it about 3 years ago amd havent hit pan yet. Its a good value for money. I got it for around $8 on special.

Comes in a thin black compact. All colors are very nice but most of them dont show on my skin. I mostly used the barbie pink and hot pink. They went on beautifully but after a few hours they just faded away. The two colors that I mostly used were very pigmented.

Its a good palette to start off with and I would recommend it to friends who are a little bit lighter than me. I love that there were ten colors to play with and find out which tones work for me instead of buying each color separately which might be expensive
