Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil Review

I was very lucky to get one of these in the March beauty review beauty box, this was one of those products that I had been wanting to try for months but hadn't yet purchased. It was one of the first products I tried in the BRBB.

It is a long silver pencil. Compared to the size of other eyebrow pencils this one is definitely bigger! I find because of the colour of the pencil its easier to find with the other pencils I have stored in a jar.

One side has a short haired mascara brush, I like this brush because it is dense you can push the product around more and it moves your eyebrows with a bit more force.

Normally I brush my eyebrows first, add the pencil and then brush my eyebrows again. Once I am happy with the shape of them I use the mascara brush to push the product towards the front of the eyebrow and create a slight "fade" then I brush my eyebrows upwards in the front and conceal the outsides of my eyebrows with either concealer or foundation.

The formula of the pencil is a mystery to me. It goes on light but it works well. I don't like how thick the pencil tip is as I find it hard to get a precise tail for my eyebrows so what I do now is rub the pencil onto an angled brush and use that to create a thinner eyebrow tail.

The stay power is good, you can gently rub over your face and they stay put. If you don't touch your eyebrows all day they will look perfect from morning until night.

I found what I deemed my Holy Grail in Brow pencils... but alas this wasn't what arrived in my March BRBB but I have to admit I was eyeing it up before my previous find... so I gave it a shot.

First impressions: It has a waxier consistency to what I am used to and it took a bit of time to get my brows right. My brows are sparse at best and this pencil actually pulls hairs away as I am applying it, not the brush part but the pencil to which I was only pressing lightly... that made me a bit anxious! and to make sure it wasn't just a growth cycle effecting it.. a week later and more hairs on the end of the pencil...eeek

So I put it aside and came back again recently to give it another shot. I sat down when I wasn't rushed or needing to be anywhere and just had a bit of one on one time with it... this seemed to work better for me, so I agreed to give it another chance (I am a hard woman lol).

So after using this for a while am I converted? well not quite.. I don't mind it but I just don't love it. The colour is a bit too weak for me and it's not as build-able as I would like, the consistency is waxier than I prefer and makes my brows feel weighted (probably not a bad thing just not what I am used to), And I am still concerned over the amount of hairs it takes with application. The brush is nice and firm though and it does a good job prepping the brows and afterwards for a more natural look.

I am just a bit underwhelmed by it instead of loving it like I had hoped. I will keep it as a back up but I don't see me re-purchasing it anytime soon.

I received this in the BRBB, What a good score this pencil is silver and slim it has a double sided brush at one end and the colour pencil at the other end that you just twist out like a lipstick. I have dark brows that are just starting to get abit sparse. This pencil fills them in nicely and the colour seems to be good too it is a medium brown that just blends in great it is also very easy to use. It is super light and easy to carry for any touch ups you might need but I found it lasts the whole day easily good value for money.

So, I got this in my March BB and I was so excited to try it. I've had a couple other brow products but they havent really done much. I'm super impressed with the Billion Dollar Brow pencil, its sleek grey casing and retractable pencil, whats not to love about that? It also has a wandy thingy on the other end and I've found you can use that to blend and comb, blend and comb. I had some gaps in me brows but not now, this has given me some se-ri-ous brow game baby. Definately something I'm likely to use again. Gonna have to make it last though as its not a cheap product. be interesting to see how long it does last :-)

I received this in the March beauty box and initially thought “brow pencil? Big deal/no thanks" But, I love it! So quick and easy and only need a couple of strokes on my dark brows. The best bit is the brush on the end which softens and blends in a flash. I would use this again but I can't imagine ever paying that much for it.

So before I got this product in my beauty box, I have to admit I had never actually heard of this company, but boy that is one of the reasons I am so glad I invested in the BRBB, because it gave me the opportunity to try a product I wouldn’t have known about otherwise.

This eyebrow pencil is actually the first eyebrow pencil I have ever used, and the only other eyebrow product I have use is the elf eyebrow gel/powder duo which I love. I have to admit, I find the packaging of this product cheap. It feels a bit plastic and frail and that’s something I don’t really like. Plus the silver colour of the packaging looks cheap as well. This is just my personal opinion. However thankfully, it’s what’s on the inside the counts, plus there are some design aspects that I do appreciate about this product such as the fact that this eyebrow pencil has two ends. One end has a brush, and the other end has the eyebrow pencil itself (and mine is in a dark brown colour), which works together like peanut butter and jam. Plus the pencil is retractable which means no need for sharpeners, which is awesome because who has the time for that.

The pencil itself is a dark matte brown, and creamy in consistency. It’s so easy to apply to my eyebrows and just glides so smoothly. I find it so easy to do different looks with this product as it can be used as a more natural filler, or a product to create more intense brows. I myself personally like to go for the more natural look most days, and I have to admit, I have been reaching for this product more than my Elf brow gel, which is a huge thing for me to say since I considered that an awesome product.

Overall, I think this product is pretty great. It’s easy to apply, and gives you the look your actually going for as well as being easy enough to use on a daily basis. I can’t give this a 5/5 simply because I can’t compare it to any other eyebrow pencils. However, I have an Anastasia brow wiz on my way, so once I try that, I will be able to compare this product to something, and will be able to update my review.

this product is great for shaping my unruly brows with the brush on one end, beautiful soft pencil ,that stays sharp would highly recommend this product very smooth and natural and suits all tones also water resistant and a very nice sized pencil a very nice item to use

This was included in the March beauty box and I was skeptical to begin with having never used eyebrow products before. Once a friend taught me how to actually use it, I used it every day.

This is nicely pigmented wax that blends easily and holds errant hairs without looking too fake. The built in brush is a nice size without being too unweildly since its on the other end of the pencil.

I'm a newbie to brow things, but I love this pencil. It is creamy without making your eyebrows look silly, and the perfect colour. You simply use more if you have darker eyebrows, which is perfect for a blonde like me!

The spoolie on the end is what really makes it worth it, as it is perfect for brushing the product through your brows, and making them look great!

Haven't regularly used an eyebrow pencil but my eyebrows seem to be thinning as I get older!! Also decided to reshape eyebrows into an arch so needed a pencil and dug out the one supplied in BRBB. Didn't quite believe that the colour would be universal but does seem to work. The consistency is quite waxy so as well as adding gives some control. Added extra if spoolie in the other end helps with shaping and evening out the colour.
