Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil Review

I think the thing that I love the most about the BRBB is that you get to try products that you probably wouldn't have picked otherwise. I love what I have seen of the Billion Dollar Brows brand from what I have seen online but have never actually purchased anything. I certainly wouldn't have purchased this as I love my brow products but wouldn't have thought a universal shade would suit me at all.

I really like the thin pencil packaging of this. I have never bought the Anastasia Brow Wiz product but this really reminds me of it. I love that the spoolie end has a clear cap and the other end a opaque lid, it means that I know what end is which when I am going to use it. Genius. The lids click on well and overall it just feels nice and high end. Good quality.

The spoolie itself works really well, brushes out your brows nicely. The pencil side initially scared me, it looks really dark. It is very thin though which is great size for drawing your brows on. The pencil is extremely waxy so it doesn't take much pressure to get the colour onto your brows. I find I do one pass of this then have to do a really aggressive brush through to get most of it off to get to a nice shade on my brows. I find the shade quite a cool tone, like it is a browny grey. This might be a wee bit too cool toned on me but I do still like it and impressed with the range of shades you can get from this one pencil. Do be careful when applying to make sure to get your shape right as I found the product is soooo pigmented it kind of makes it hard to get off, and it is attracted to every straggely hair I have if it has been a while between getting them shaped.

I am really impressed by this product and have seen it work really well on so many different skin tones and brow shades, although I think ideally it is made for darker brows than mine. On a day to day basis I am still planning on using my Benefit Brow Zings powder and wax. BUT when I am travelling this is a great all in one product and also a great product for beginners.

This was my first brow pencil that I have ever used, I generally stick to Browtox by Napoleon Perdis which is an eyebrow gel. I received this in my March beauty box, and at first I didn't like it as I wasn't used to it. But after I have played around with it, I love it for a quick everyday natural brow look and save my 'Browtox' for a more precise brow look. I love the fact you can just wind the product up, hate having to sharpen beauty products as I feel you lose so much product. It is amazing how it is universal and even though I have blonde hair it still looked amazing on my brows. The formula is very creamy and I find it easy to create my desired look. I will always use the brush at the other end to smooth it all out at the end and I find this helps to create a more natural look with the product. It does last all day but I would recommend using another product to set your brow hairs if needed.

Brows have been something that I have been trying to work on recently. It's not my strong point. I was stoked to see this pencil in the BRBB as it was another product to try.

The pencil is slim and sleek...but it's really long. Too long for my make up bag. There is a spooley at one end and the pencil winds out the other end. It's a nice formula, hard to explain it being just right - some are to soft and smear everywhere and some are too tough and don't seem to put any product out. This one is a happy middle.

The idea behind the colour is using a gentle application to build up to darker - unfortunately for someone just starting out with brows this wasn't the right thing for me. I was heavy handed and even when I tried my best to be light handed it just felt like my brows were so much darker.

Based on the formula itself I would be keen to try it in a lighter colour, I liked working with it, but it just looked to bold for me. I happily gave this away to a friend that I'm sure it will work much better for.

I received this in a BBBE last year and I was excited by the idea of a "universal brow pencil." I'm almost completely out of this product, and don't think I will be repurchasing.

I love the formula of this product. I find it applys really easily and smoothly, as well as evenly. It lasts all day, without smudging, even when using it without other products. I love how you don't need to sharpen it and the packaging is so stylish.

The reason I won't be repurchasing this, however, is because I find it slightly too dark. My hair is light brown and I have to use a very, very, very light hand when using this, and even then it still doesn't match my hair colour completely. I don't think this would work for you if you had blonde hair.

I think this is a good item to have in a beauty box, because of the idea of a universal brow pencil - even though it didn't really work for me. I also think it would be a good gift idea, and good if you were just starting to do your brows and unsure of what to buy, as it's really easy to use. I love the actual formula of this product though and if they came out with different shades with the same formula I'd definitely buy!

Ive never been a person to colour my eyebrows, or draw on my eyebrows, so I wasnt too sure how to use this product, but I had a friend show me how to do it and it looked great, but can honestly say I probably wouldnt use it again as its not something I need to add to my regular make up routine

Being blonde and having fair eyebrows, I have never used an brow pencil before as I always thought it would look too dark. But recently, and to my horror, I have noticed that my eyebrows are starting to turn grey. I received the bdb pencil in my beauty box and decided it was a sign. I was pleased with the softness of the pencil and it was very easy to apply - although I was very careful to apply lightly as I still don't want a dark colour. I was surprised with what a difference it made - it covered the grey strands really well. I liked the roll up pencil and the brush was great too and smoothed everything into place. The two downsides for me were the colour and the length of the pencil. Although I applied the pencil VERY lightly, the colour was still a bit too dark so I would have preferred a lighter colour. The pencil was just too long to fit in my makeup bag but this is not a deal breaker for me.

I have never owned an eyebrow product prior to receiving one in the BRBB, but I was more than happy to give this a whirl. The sleek, thin pencil like tube was really interesting, and it took me a minute to work out how to operate it.

The pencil is a brown color, and it is universal so anyone can use it whether they have blonde, brown, or black hair. First application seemed nice, I didn't push too hard out of fear of making myself look stupid, and my brows turned out okay. I especially liked the spooly on the end, I think that's what makes this product awesome.

I've stopped using it purely for the fact that I think the color is too dark for me, as I tend to press far to hard (which isn't hard at all) and it drives me bananas. It is a lovely pencil, but I will be gifting mine and all its glory to someone who I know will love it more than I can!

This is the first time I have had a brow crayon. I'm still getting used to it, I feel it comes in very dark, maybe a bit dark for me. My technique isn't 100% but I'm just not sure on this product. I liked it if I made a mistake it does come off quite easily. I love the look of this product though, it's luxury and high end looking with the silver pencil. I've heard really good things abou my this item so I'll keep trying to perfect but at the moment it's a bit too dark for my skin tone.

So for someone that struggles to get a matching set of eyebrows, I was really excited to try this product as I had heard great things. Thanks to the March BB, I was able to. First impression: a nice slim design with a spoolie on one end and the wind up dark brown, soft pencil on the other. Fairly sturdy casing and easy to hold. Pros: I want to like this product as it fits into my cruelty free preference. The spoolie is great easily brushing my hairs into place. The dark brown colour blends well into my brows where there is thicker hair. Cons: although the product states that the pencil stays sharp, after first use the pencil softened and rounded making it difficult to achieve definition. Blending the colour into the areas where I have fewer hairs is near impossible. Unfortunately I do think I got a bit of a dud pencil because as I apply the colour the pencil starts pushing back into the casing. I won't be purchasing this pencil in the future.

This product is a slim pencil that has a spoolie at one end with a see through cover and a crayon at the other end with a black cover. The crayon propells up and snd down by twisting the pencil like lipstick and doesn’t need sharpening. The spoolie is handy to brush and tidy your brows before applying with the crayon and I also used it to finish off and blend the colour. I used brush strokes to apply the crayon to my brows, the more you apply the darker the colour. The crayon glides on easily and works really well and I was pleased with the natural look I created. I have used this product several times now and found it really good, well better than the pencil brows that you have to sharpen. The only thing I didn’t like was that it didn’t last long for me as the product is quite soft and it didn’t seem like there was much in it. It also soils your towel if you are wiping your brow at the gym so I would not recommend doing this!
