I have been wanting to try the Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil for a while, to see how it compared.
The brand boasts of having formulated this pencil to work with all skin tones and hair colours. And to a degree they have. It is a medium brow pencil that would create dark eyebrows for a blonde and light eyebrows for a brunette but still an acceptable shade for both. because I don't like my brows too dark, as a brunette I quite like the shade of this pencil.
What I really love is that it's automatic. No sharpening required here.
It's also worth noting that there is a spoolie at the other end of the pencil.
In terms of wearability, it glides on so much smoother than my previous brow pencil and does last all day. So definitely a quality pencil.
I would definitely consider repurchasing.
Ok, I'm probably too old to get away with saying fleek but this pencil does amazing things for my brows. I've used this every single day since I got it and have not wanted to use any of my other brow products. That's saying something because I usually get bored using the same product everyday. I have just over a cm of product left and already repurchased a back up about a month ago.
The packaging of this is really nice. It's silver and sturdy. It has a spoolie brush on one end and the twist up product on the other end. The spoolie works perfectly to comb my brows before I start and is also great for combing in the product at the end so it looks more natural.
The color is a perfect match for me. It's a slightly cool toned medium brown. You can build it up to get it a bit darker too. I have dyed black hair and I don't think my brows look too light for my hair with this product. This I supposed to be a universal pencil but I don't think it would work that we'll for blonde hair unless you use a butterfly touch and comb it out well. If you have any shade of brown hair, this product is for you.
I do use an eyebrow gel to set my brows but on the times that I've forgotten it, my brows still say in place. I think the product is slightly waxy so it keeps the hair in place.
I don't really have downsides to this product, on it ison the expensive side but if you search you can find it cheaper online plus it will last ages. I've been using this for 2 or 3 months now. The tip is thin, slightly thinner might be better to get a sharper point at the tips but this isn't a deal breaker for me. I really do love this pencil and won't cheat on it anytime soon.
