Amazing packaging, amazing colors, amazing product. I found these in Farmers a while back and was instantly drawn in by all the colors they had. They are a little costly but they do have a really good wear. The brush could be a little better but still worth the money!

Im sorry but my experience wasnt good. I came across butterLONDON in a sale. Loved the massive range of unique and pretty colours. I initially wanted to buy 3 but decided on only 1 just incase. I brought a really pretty pale pink shade, have been looking for this particular colour for ages. I was disappointed to find tge formula to be really thin and runny. The brush was also quite small. When I applied the nail polish it looked so streaky! I had to apply a number of coats for it to be semi decent but in the end I just removed it. :( Ive now passed it down to my daughter to use
Tips: Based on other reviews here I would probably try again if its on sale. But I would definately not be happy if I paid full price for the results I got this time.
I bought a couple of these on sale, before I read the reviews here. After reading the reviews I was a bit nervous about how it would look, but my experience with the two I bought has been really good! I LOVE the colours (I got Artful Dodger and Sprog and did alternating nails) It took the usual two coats for me to be happy with the colour.
I also adore the bottle design, it's so elegant and looks lovely on my shelf (even if it's a bit annoying to have to pop the top off to get to the cap on the bottle, I don't mind because it's so darn pretty to look at :))
Now I wish I'd bought more while they were on sale!
After hearing good recommendations about this nail polish, I decided it was time to try one of the Butter range of polishes.
First of all the packaging is stylish and unique, in the modern looking squarish packaging. It looks like a high quality nail polish by first impressions.
I love the awesome array of colours that are available. the colour i have is 'trout pout' a bright (nearly neon) barbie coloured pink. This colour looks amazing against tanned (fake tan of course) skin in the summer.
The formula is on the runny side, but drys quickly. I found two coats to be sufficient. I find this polish lasts well and is of great quality.
These nail polishes are definitely on the expensive side, but I fell in love with the colour so had to have it! If you feel like splurging on nail polish, definitely give this brand a go!
Would not hesitate to repurchase.
I only have one butter london polish. I was so excited when I finally bought one as the colours looked so amazing. Unfortunately I have been really disappointed with the formula. I find it really runny and you need three coats to get a decent opaque finish. The colours are great but I just don't think it is worth the price. I like the packaging although I find the brush a little on the narrow side. For the price I would rather buy Essie or OPI.
I got one of these given to me by a friend it's an electric blue glitter one. I was quite impressed with this nail lacquer the color is bright & vibrant and bottle looks stylish & of good quality. The lacquer itself i really like i thought the consistency was spot on especially for a glitter lacquer, 2 coats gives me full coverage solid glitter. I find that it lasts well on the nails also, all round i feel this is a quality product although i'm not sure about the price. I can't see myself spending $30 on a nail polish but if i saw it on sale i would be tempted to purchase if the price was right.
The bottle of this nail polish is beautiful, really chic & attractive. I don't mind the whole take the lid off then unscrew the brush thing. The brush was quite long which made it difficult to control, and it dried quite quickly with an almost chalky consistency, it wasn't viscous like others usually are. So it dried with quite a matt finish and was very difficult to remove the edges where I'd gone off the nail (I'm pretty bad at nail polish application & had to move quicker than I'd like with this one). I'm not sure if this is a criticism but the colour looked way brighter on my nails than it did in the bottle, so I only used it once & took it off after not too long. It needed two coats to not be streaky & actually be opaque.
Tips: Be quick & accurate, shake it a lot before using as it tends to sludge at the bottom
I love the Butter packaging. They are so sleek, and easy to store. The brushes inside are a little finicky to use, and the creme shades can take a bit of work to get a nice opaque finish. I really like the shimmery shades however, they are much easier to build up and look really lovely especially under a gloss top coat. I found Butter quite expensive and tended to buy mine on sale when they were available at Farmers.
I brought two of these polishes, both in quite light pastel colours. I had heard amazing things about them however I've been quite disappointed in my experience. I found that I had to use 3 coats of the polish to get an even, not streaky coverage. This meant that the polish took forever to dry (I painted my nails at dinner, and got sheet marks in the polish overnight). I used both a base coat and a top coat, and the polish still chipped after 2 days which I found incredibly disappointing. I totally wouldn't buy these full price as you can buy polishes such as essie and OPI which are cheaper, and last longer!
I bought a beautiful coral shade and was so excited to use it but was so disappointed. The formula was too thin and the brushes on the brush left marks and not a smooth finish at all. Took three/four layers to achieve the desired colour. I know other people love these nail polishes and rave about them so hopefully I got a dud but I won't be buying again unless I can try others first.
