Not the product to buy if you're looking for long lasting gloss. Feels like baby oil on your lips as it has a oily feel and runs too. I buy this gloss for my 5 yearold daughter

I used to buy this gloss years ago when I was just wearing basic makeup and I've just recently repurchased it and I've gotta say it is not at all what I remember it to be! Perhaps the formula has changed.
This doesn't last long on your lips at all, the consistency is comparable to runny oil so it runs all over your lips. The smell of this product is good though, I've got the watermelon one and that's the only good thing about this, the scent!
Simple packaging, easy to apply angled applicator but very easy to squeeze too much out of the tube.
Wouldn't repurchase this and will be passing these onto my niece!
Yea ok nothing to brag about here. I was majorly disappointed. I was expecting more from BYS as they haven’t let me down.
This tube of gloss is like one of those I used to buy back when I was 10 years old from the 2 dollar shop. There is nothing stand out about this. In fact it may as well be sold in the 2 dollar shop.
It comes in the standard typical squeeze gloss tube in a little black cardboard container, with a little screw on black cap. I’d think that we’d be past that stage where they still use squeeze tubes for lipgloss. I find these difficult to work with. Squeeze too much is just a big mess. Also the cap for some reason - even though sealed always gets gross lint and dust in it one way or another and I have to use my hands to wipe it off before putting these on my lips, and then I have to go wash my hands.
It’s a horrible consistency that feels like rubbing canola oil on my lips. It’s very greasy and very runny and because of that, doesn’t stay on my lips. I usually feel it having dripped from my bottom lip down to just about my chin. Not to mention it getting into my mouth. Horrible horrible taste to go with it. It also looks super shiny - literally like I’ve slapped some oil on my lips.
It also has a horrible smell. It’s very sweet and sugary. But it’s artificial and almost suffocating.
Every time I say I’ll give it another go, I change my mind immediately and wipe it off. Not one to buy ladies.
I brought BYS Mega Shine Lip Gloss in strawberry flavour.
I really like the size of the tube and the no mess application. I can control the amount I squeeze from the tube and I really like the angle shaped tip. The colour of the gloss is eye catching as well.
I have put some on while writing this review. I don't like the sticky, gloss feeling on my lips. So I keep licking my lips and they are drying out very fast.
The strawberry scent reminds me of the old ice cream, Strawberry Toppa. And when licking my lips, kind of tastes like a Toppa as well.
I am afraid BYS Mega Shine Lip Gloss is not for me and will probably throw away as I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
I was looking for a good clear gloss and picked this one up from Kmart for $3-4 I think I can recall...
I don't know how to explain it but the tube that the gloss is packaged in feels like it's full of pressure...almost as if you were to put a pin in in it would explode! And it feels that way when squeezing the product out!
The product is extremely thin and liquified for my liking, I like a thicker feeling on my lips, but this feels like splashing water on my lips. So, if you squeeze too hard you'll end up up with a lot of gloss coming out. Therefore I find it annoying trying to be extremely careful every time I use it.
Would not buy again.
Honestly don't think I've ever used a makeup product that left me so disappointed. Even though it's a cheap product, I never thought it could be as bad as it is. It's got a lumpy texture when you first open it and it's so sticky but in a really bad way. There is also no gloss at all shouldn't even be called mega shine. It's a huge letdown and a waste of money.
I had the same experience with this product as I have experienced with other low priced lipglosses - stings when first applied, sticky, yet gooey and manages to dry lips out somehow. The texture reminds me of those roll on lip glosses from last decade which were quite liquid and oily and would slide around and disappear really quickly, definitely not long wearing by any means.Slightly sweet fruit scent, more of a fragrance rather than a flavouring though. Overall might be good to chuck in the handbag for emergencies, but doubt I would ever even use it as it makes my lips sore and uncomfortable.
I had high expectations for this product as I am a huge fan of BYS products.
Unfortunately this one left a lot to be desired.
The tube itself was fine, typical squeeze tube with angled tip for application. What I don't like about tubes like these is the ability for them to collect any dust or lint that may be floating around in a Makeup bag or Handbag.. Inside the lid/on the tube applicator where excess product has made its way attracts the dust! The packaging is bland and nothing to write home about.. But for $3.50 it's fine.
The texture of the product is rather unpleasant in my opinion.. I would compare it to lathering baby oil on your lips or perhaps a really runny cooking oil.. Its disgustingly oily and just slides off. Yes its mega shiny because its mega oily.
The stayability.. Zilch.. It slides off all over the place and into your mouth.
Over all I wouldn't recommend this product.
Tips: Squeeze gently.. This product is extremely running so comes out generously and can make a mess!
I wanted to like it. I wanted it to surprise me. I wanted the cheaper one to be amazing and blow me away.
Sadly it did not.
The problem with the product is it feels more like an oil than a gloss? I think that is the best way to describe it. Its slippery and comes off as easily as it went on.
The packaging is simple with an easy to apply tip. With a clear case so you can see the product.
It did redeem itself when added with a good lipstick. It didn't cause as much bleed out as I thought it would but again the problem is it comes off very quickly so then your lipstick is patchy.
If you want a cheap lip gloss and do not mind applying it again and again then perhaps you will like this? However I am not a fan of this oily gloss. Sorry!
