One word. Amazing.
These are ridiculously good and ridiculously cheap.
They come in a squeeze tube with a brush.. The brush is fantastic and the tube is going to last forever. A little goes a long way!
They set like a lipstick and are totally opaque and semi matte but still have a luscious look to them.. There is no sticky gloss mess which I think is why I like these so much.
They last relatively well but also do a fair bit of transferring.. I find if you apply it quite awhile before eating and drinking it sets a bit better. However because of the wear and the color pay off the transferring doesn't bother me too much. They generally just need a touch up in the middle - you know when you wear long last lip colors or real rich colors and your left looking like your only wearing lip liner after eating? They wear off kind of like that!
For the price they are ridiculously good and these look incredibly gorgeous on!
OCC Lip tars have been on my wishlist for a long time. When I was in Kmart I spotted these and picked up 'Barbados Bikinis' (a blue toned red) and 'Sunset in Spain' (a vibrant orange). To be honest I didn't have high expectations for these.
The packaging looks really similar to the OCC lip tars and comes with a small brush which is really handy. These are incredibly pigmented, so you truly only need the slightest amount to cover your whole mouth.
These have a minty scent to them and tingle your lips a little. They apply like a liquid lipstick and dry into a semi matte formula. I have found them comfortable to wear all day and they only need applying after about 4-5 hours (if you aren't drinking or eating).
I did end up giving Sunset in Spain to a friend as I don't think I suit orange, but I am keen to try the rest in the range.
Try these - they're incredible quality for the price, comfortable to wear and last a long time.
Tips: Only apply the smallest amount! You honestly need a teeny amount as these are so intensely pigmented.
