The range of BYS nail polishes were the first range I ever started buying, back in high school, since they are so cheap and have such a cute range of colours. And I still buy them, on occasion, to this day! For super cheap nail polish the quality is actually pretty good, the formula applies evenly and dries quite quickly. The scent is fine (just smells like regular nail polish), and the polish tends to last well too. Some of my favourite colours have been from this brand, especially Ladies That Lunch and Spring Fling. If you're looking for a full size, good quality polish at a super low price, then I would recommend these!

Tips: If the polish consistency starts getting claggy or thick after you've had it for a while, adding a couple of drops of nail polish remover to the product thins it out and restores it back to normal! Would also advise adding a top coat, especially to the ends of your nails, to prolong the wear of BYS polishes.
These are an impulse buy for me, as they are usually up near the counter, so the colours catch my eye.
Not my first preference or the greatest quality, but for the price they're really just a colourful bit of fun to add to my lacquer collection.
I've used both the basic and UV colour lacquers. I bought the UV Tension Rising Pink shade for a Neon party, and it really does glow under a black light. This particular colour/formula is quite thin and dries to more of a matte finish, so you need to apply a few coats. It's only really good for a day or two at most, as left any longer and it starts to discolour and look 'off'.
The only BYS nail product I would not recommend, is the Topcoat. I've used it on vairous brands of lacquers, and I found it made the coloured polish go streaky and gluggy when I brushed it on, even when the colour was previously dry.
I've had & still have a few colours of this. I love the colour range! There's excellent variety. I find it depends on the colour as to how many coats are required (as with any brand) also on how well it lasts. I did find they all take a little while to dry but overall not bad & I'll continue to buy this brand ;)
I love the colour range of these nail polishes and they are pretty cheap too. I have the purple and yellow ones.
Formula - this polish is quite thin, and although the colours look fantastic in the bottle you need quite a few coats on your nail to get it to the colour in the bottle. I find these polishes dry quite quickly but can be streaky when you apply it.
Longevity - these polishes do tend to chip quite fast and don't last that long on your nails before chipping. They last three days maximum with a top coat on. The actual polish in the bottle, however, does last a long time. The polish doesn't go gloggy like other cheap polishes.
Brush - the shape of the brush is like any normal polish. Its a good size and I like how it is rectangular and flat so that you can apply the polish to your whole nail in about three strokes.
Would I recommend this product - personally, I wouldn't purchase this product again if you're looking for a long lasting polish. The colour range is good and I know use mine for nail art. So I wouldn't recommend this product unless you wanted a cheap nail polish that you only needed to use a few times or for a one off occasion.
BYS nail polishes are great as they are cheap and come in a wide variety of colours. As you could imagine they are not the highest quality and can chip easily and the bottle becomes gluggy after a while. A good cheap option though.
These are not too bad for the price but I have used better. It tends to go on a bit thin and requires a few coats, but on the upside I have found that it dries reasonably quickly. The staying power is average and most of the time I get a few days to a week's life out of it before it's chipped. I would probably still buy this again because it's cheap and I'm a sucker for impulse buying nail polishes in bright and interesting hues. This range really does have an impressive array of different colours and finishes. I have this nail polish in a few different shades and I have noticed that the consistency has varied in quality from bottle to bottle. Maybe I've picked up a few older, dud bottles?
It's a cheap nail polish so don't expect it to last a while or to keep it's shine. The colours are great with loads of choices to choose from. I like the brushes, it doesn't leave the stroke lines that a lot of brushes do. After a while the product gets really thick in the bottle. I would buy it for a night out or something if I found a colour I liked. Not too amazing.
In reality these are super cheap nail polishes meaning you'll get what you pay for. Dont expect them to last too long as the wearing power isn't that strong and also cracks quite easily. You can find these on special a lot which is quite handy as it means you can try a few different colours for a cheap price. I have a few of these but love the colour changing ones (reliant on cold/warmth)
Tips: I recommend a couple of layers with also a top coat/matte top coat to get at least a few days out of it.
These are cheap, so as expected they dont wear as well as better nail polish brands. They do however allow you to build up a good stock of colours, and when used with a quality top coat last quite well. They also don't reek of chemicals like some cheap polishes can!
The way I tell a cheap polish is by its smell. These smell revolting, so its actually hard to me to sit down and use these.
They also don't dry very quickly. Can't be doing with that!! No time to just sit around with wet nails!
They DO have some fantastic colours tho. That is the funnest thing about them for me. Fortunately, I didn't buy the 6 I have, it was a gift. I'd be really bummed if I had paid with my own money.
