BYS Nail Polish

I have so many different colours from this BYS range of nail polishes. I really do like them! They paint well, they have a slightly more runnier consistency as opposed to other nail polishes. I have this in Red Carpet and I am in absolute love, it's the perfect deep maroon/red with abit of shimmer and will look stunning on nails this winter. BYS has an amazing range of different colours, I like the way it coats the nails and the brush to apply isn't too bad either! Definitely worth trying and are affordable!

I applied this brand in a hot pink hue. I liked how the polish was nice and thin not all thick and the brush was quite good to work with too my nails looked perfect... - for a day or two. After they chipped and looked bad. A good product for a 1day / night occassion but the good results are short lived. The bottle is okay it is maybe a bit over priced for the fact it does not last I would re use but will not be buying.

I recently brought this from kmart on clearance for a whole $3 so was quite excited to try it for that price, the colour I brought was matte corral and I love it. I have never used a matte polish before so this is a first but it won't be the last time. I found this nail polish quite easy to use, it is really runny and that makes it easy to apply. Once its applied it kind of looks streaky but it smooths it's self out and looks really good.

Currently I have had this nail polish on for 4 days and the colour on the tips have just started to wear away. But it's still going strong.

Over all in quite impressed with this nail polish especially for the $3 I paid

I got this as a gift and i'm happy thats all it was. I used it a couple times hoping that i'd have a better experience after each use but fell flat. Maybe i got a dud batch or something but its so hard to use. At first I had problems with it drying, it'd take soooo long. Half an hour i'd wait and then it'd smudge no matter what i tried to do. And then a couple weeks after using it it became so unbearable to use. It became thick and unspreadable. I wouldnt buy one again.

Although the scent wasnt as strong as other polishes i had so thats a pro.

I bought this on a trip to Kmart because it was nice and cheap and I liked the colour, and well nail polish is nail polish, right? Uh, no. I've never had so much trouble actually using a nail polish before. It was thin and streaky when I was trying to apply it, and i couldnt get it to apply evenly at all. Then it took ages to dry, and of course it smudged before it was able to dry fully. After all the effort of getting something that looked ok, it only lasted about 2 days before it was wearing away. All in all, it's fine to give my girls to use in their makeup kit, but I won't be using it again.

I purchased a few polishes from Kmart for $3 and decision wise it is quite hard to narrow down what colour to buy coz of the large colour selection.

That being said, it isn't the greatest quality polish though considering the price it's not really surprising. On application, the colours are a bit streaky and not greatly pigmented, they're quite sheer even after 3 coats. I also found they chipped quite easily and began to crack as well which isn't the greatest thing in the world.

If you're after something to wear for just a day or two, then go for it, but if you want a polish with a little bit more longevity than I wouldn't definitely splurge on something a tad more pricey.

I was in Glassons when i first saw this nail polishes. It was summer, they were bright, colourful, and cheap. It was a match made in heaven, or so i thought.

I purchased two colours (and i can not recall the colours off the top off my head, but one was a teal green and the other a bright yellow).

The design of these bottles is simple, and nothing flash. They come in a square based glass bottle, with a square black lid. Like most nail polishes, this bottle is see through and so you can see the nail polish inside.

This is where the review takes a turn for the worst. On a positive, the brush for this nailpolish is pretty decent. Its not too thin, and covers the nail easily. However, the nailpolish formula sucks. There is no other way to put it. It is so thin and watery, and takes 5 or 6 coats to get opaque coverage, and no one has time for that. Plus is streaky, and it is just so frustrating to use. Even thinking about using it gets me frustrated.

So, do yourself a favour and don't buy these. You get exactly what you pay for, if not less!

I really like this nail polish. Definitely the best BYS product out there. About half of my nail polish is BYS. I find that it is really easy to apply, though it doesn't last long. I am obsessed with my confetti nail polish. I have to stay away from the nail polish section at Kmart as I always buy more.

I have the Neon get ink make it pink BYS polish. To the eye the bottle is attractive and so is the colour. When you open it, the brush is soft but you can see already that you are going to have to do more than 2 layers to get a full coverage.

The first layer didn't have much coverage at all and it does take a while for it to dry, same with the other layers for dry time. It kind of covers more in some areas than others so you've got to spend time evening it out more than other polishes I have used.

When the third and final layer has dried the results are streaky, it's unfortunate after all that time and has dried not so brightly either.

I'd probably buy the $2.00 shop one, you have to go through the same steps but at least you save $10.00

I adore the BYS range of nail polish! Brought my first one in Australia and have since added to my collection. Polish stays on for ages (actually had to scrub it as well as pick at it for it to come off) which is something that's important to me when choosing a Polish.
