These are not too bad for the price but I have used better. It tends to go on a bit thin and requires a few coats, but on the upside I have found that it dries reasonably quickly. The staying power is average and most of the time I get a few days to a week's life out of it before it's chipped. I would probably still buy this again because it's cheap and I'm a sucker for impulse buying nail polishes in bright and interesting hues. This range really does have an impressive array of different colours and finishes. I have this nail polish in a few different shades and I have noticed that the consistency has varied in quality from bottle to bottle. Maybe I've picked up a few older, dud bottles?

In reality these are super cheap nail polishes meaning you'll get what you pay for. Dont expect them to last too long as the wearing power isn't that strong and also cracks quite easily. You can find these on special a lot which is quite handy as it means you can try a few different colours for a cheap price. I have a few of these but love the colour changing ones (reliant on cold/warmth)
Tips: I recommend a couple of layers with also a top coat/matte top coat to get at least a few days out of it.
I have about 7 different shades of BYM. I love the shades they have on offer and how cheap they are. I bought most of mine for $6.00 from Glassons. When you apply the colour, it comes out light, so I had to add a few more coats to get the desired colour. I also found that they last around 6 months if kept in a cool, dry area ( I keep mine in the butter conditioner/fridge.) The consistency isnt too bad, not too thick, not too runny. Goes great to add colour to an outfit and so many to choose from. I would recommend to anyone.
Tips: Add a base and top coat so your nails dont chip. If your nail polish dries out, add a little bit of clear nail polish and shake the bottle to make the colour last longer.
Bys had been a great gateway polish for me to try different coloured polishes that I wouldn't have normally bought at a higher price point. I have owned a variety of colours but my favourite has been the silver which I wear as a base coat under silver glitter polishes so I don't have to wear so many layered of glitter (which is a pain to get off!) Having said that I do find the packaging quite cheap and the lid is not the perfect shape for my fingers. The wearability is also lacking compared to others.
Tips: See above re silver and glitter polishes, best tip ever!
I strongly think a girl can never have too many nail polishes, and so when looking for a particular shade to go with an outfit I stumbled across the very affordable BYS cosmetics range. I actually picked this polish up in 'Pretty as a Peach' for something like $5 or so from Glassons one year, bargain price. BYS has so many colours available and this particular one is a lovely pastel peach.
The formula itself is really runny so it takes a few coats to get a nice even coverage so it does take longer to dry. It's also not particularly long-lasting, 1-2 days without beginning to look tacky.
In saying that despite the performance I would still purchase these again when I'm wanting a polish for a day/night or to go with a particular outfit as they're still really good value.
I applied this brand in a hot pink hue. I liked how the polish was nice and thin not all thick and the brush was quite good to work with too my nails looked perfect... - for a day or two. After they chipped and looked bad. A good product for a 1day / night occassion but the good results are short lived. The bottle is okay it is maybe a bit over priced for the fact it does not last I would re use but will not be buying.
I got this as a gift and i'm happy thats all it was. I used it a couple times hoping that i'd have a better experience after each use but fell flat. Maybe i got a dud batch or something but its so hard to use. At first I had problems with it drying, it'd take soooo long. Half an hour i'd wait and then it'd smudge no matter what i tried to do. And then a couple weeks after using it it became so unbearable to use. It became thick and unspreadable. I wouldnt buy one again.
Although the scent wasnt as strong as other polishes i had so thats a pro.
I bought this on a trip to Kmart because it was nice and cheap and I liked the colour, and well nail polish is nail polish, right? Uh, no. I've never had so much trouble actually using a nail polish before. It was thin and streaky when I was trying to apply it, and i couldnt get it to apply evenly at all. Then it took ages to dry, and of course it smudged before it was able to dry fully. After all the effort of getting something that looked ok, it only lasted about 2 days before it was wearing away. All in all, it's fine to give my girls to use in their makeup kit, but I won't be using it again.
I'm not a fan of expensive nail polish so I always tend to purchase BYS because it is cheaper. It isn't my preferred brand, but when I NEED a colour for a particular look I'm going for and I don't own it and can't find it in other brands, then I buy it.
It's super cheap, only $4 at my local Kmart. But the quality is just as well.
The brush is very thick and bushy which causes the also thick consistency of the polish to stick to it. So you have one big mess of too much gloopy product on a much too big gloopy brush. It makes it difficult to polish your fingernails but it's do-able.
It does glide on nicely, but I find that I have to go over the nail multiple times to even out the surface so I dont have thick , thick layers of polish on my nails!
It does however dry very quickly and the smell is not too strong. I don't particularly like the colours they offer, but some of their textured ones or glittery ones are too die for!
Tips: Remove excess polish off ONE side of the nail brush before applying so you have the correct amount of polish.
Make sure that it's completely dry before you go in for your second coat, otherwise it messes up your first coat as well.
BYS nail polishes are great as they are cheap and come in a wide variety of colours. As you could imagine they are not the highest quality and can chip easily and the bottle becomes gluggy after a while. A good cheap option though.
