First off let me say that no one needs to spend this amount on a lipgloss. Is it beautiful? Yes! Is it hydrating? Yes! But so are many others at a third of the price but there is something special about this gloss. I have it in a very pale pink and use it both alone and over lipstick and it really does give the most gorgeous shine. I normally don’t like plumping glosses as I hate that intense tingling sensation that comes with them but this is very subtle. Being a gloss it won’t last through a meal but otherwise lasts on the lips pretty well and really does hydrate. There is a lot in a tube so while it’s definitely not value for money it will last for a while. I will repurchase this again and would recommend it to someone wanting a bit of luxury on their lips

I LOVE this lip gloss! The formula is beautiful! We used to have a Dior counter in my city and no longer do which makes me so sad because I LOVE Dior :D
So I'll start with the packaging, it comes in a clear tube with the silver lid, which is very pretty and pretty standard for Dior lip items! In my opinion it looks very 'Dior', the gloss does also have 'Dior' written on the tube... which I like because I am happy to advertise that I own this awesome stuff :D
Dior always pulls out the 'fancy' and they have done it again here by including a brush applicator rather than a sponge, I LOVE that but I do wish it was a little larger!
I love that this gloss finds the perfect balance between 'shine' and gloss... it is not overkill, it is classy.
The formula is really thick which makes it glide on and not streak. You can build it up or wear it over lipstick and it is not at all sticky.
This gloss is also really long wearing! I wear it to work, put it on at 8am, touch up after lunch and that is it!
I also find it really moisturizing, a lot of lip glosses claim to be moisturizing but over the day go tacky and dry - not this one!
It is expensive but it goes a long way and wears really well, totally worth it for a bit of luxury in your makeup bag!!
I got my first ever Dior gloss recently and it was a little underwhelming. Maybe I had build up a holy image of it but I expected great things. The packaging is pretty spot on- clear square shaped tube with a shiny metal top and 'Dior' written in the plastic. It looks so gorgeous in my handbag Ok fine, one of the main reasons I bought this was for the packaging and the brand name, but who isn't a little vain ;). My shade is 257, a gorgeous pearly pink/peach shade that shimmers in the tube and looks stunning. When I wore it however, the color is much more sheer and although there is shimmer, it's not quite the pearly look I had been expecting. The texture was not sticky at all and felt very light, which I'm definitely happy about. The staying power of this is pretty good but I've definitely had low end lip glosses that stayed put better than this. Maybe because of its thinness, it got smudged off quite easily. There was a slight smell but nothing too noticeable. The lip brush is very soft and easy to apply product with. And I like that it's a brush rather than a sponge, brushes always make the lip gloss seem fancier :)
Overall a great lip gloss that has ahhmaazing packaging. However the product, while nice, isn't exactly worth the price. I would have easily bought three or four cheaper lip glosses at the same quality for how much I paid for this.
The lip gloss packaging is very gorgeous. It is thick when you apply on your lips. The bright pink colour gives shinning effect on your lips. It stays a long time after you apply to it and this is why the product is very popular. When I went to the ball, I applied this lip gloss and it stayed for the whole night and I didn't have to add more on my lips. This is a really good product with beautiful colour and longitivtiy.
Ahhhh Christian Dior you didn't let me down.
Beautifully packaged with a simple design that is ready to put your other lip gloss's to shame. So let's start with the packaging. A clear container lets you see the colour of the product and how much is left in it. With a gorgeous silver lid with CD on the top that is home to a brush which feels like soft kisses on your lips. Seriously. Soft kisses.
The product itself is a gorgeous peach colour - I got 'Ailee' it is very sticky which gives you staying power but if you do not like sticky glosses you should sent them to me ;) hahaha its not so sticky you will not enjoy it but enough to know you have some power on your lips.
Now the bad - WHAT>?!?!>?! I know I didn't want to fault this but it is a review. I like a gloss that can also go over my lipsticks if I want to add some shine to matte finishes or just because and sadly Dior does not play well with others and caused my lipstick to bleed out. Particularly weird but not very helpful when you look like you smudged your lipstick while out (and you haven't even sat down for dinner yet) so it is for just lip gloss wear for me. Not that I have a problem with that ;)
The reason I also like this as just a gloss is its staying power. In the past lip gloss tends to be gone as soon as I put it on. This wears well and feels amazing on your lips (do I need to bring up the brush again?? I mean you will want to apply it all the time to be reunited with your friend the brush but you won't need too)
Overall it is just what I would expect from a gorgeous lipgloss. It feels amazing, wears well and can be forgiven for not playing with others I mean its Dior it doesn't need to!
Tips: If you are worried about it being too sticky try it but a good sticky lipgloss will stay on your lips longer and leave you with a gorgeous glossy shine.
To be honest in the past few Years I steered clear from Lip Glosses as I found most of them to be sticky and not as pigmented as I would like so chose Lipstick over Gloss.
I can safely say this product has reignited a love for Gloss!
I trialed Dior Addict Gloss #223 Angelique - a beautiful 'blush' nude/pink.
The packaging is beautiful. A chrome cardboard package. The actual tube/container is gorgeous.. Iconic Dior style/shape with embossed detailing.. 'Dior' on the actual container and 'CD' embossed on the lid. It's clear so you can see the color inside. Container has a mirrored strip where you unscrew the lid so this doubles as a mirror when you need to apply on the go! The applicator is a convenient soft brush for perfect application.
I would describe this Gloss as unscented, a beautiful nude pink which is extremely versatile. Formula is non sticky.. Beautiful to apply. The appearance on the lips is equally as beautiful.. A gorgeous sheer slick of color with an absolutely stunning shine that makes the lips look enhanced and beautified.. And for illuminating/highlight addicts like me.. This definitely brightens the lips and the complexion!
What really sold me on the product was the stayability.. I have never experienced this with Gloss before! I trialed this over a Week and every day without fail I was impressed. I would apply this about 20 mins before drinking my Coffee and even after I had finished I still had a slick of color and a lovely shine! Obviously being a Gloss it does require regular touch ups.. But doesn't just wear off almost instantly like others do!
Highly recommend!
Tips: If you love a sheer slick of color and ultra shine you will love this product. I really like to line my lips with a nude/blush pink liner and then apply this over the top.. It just helps with lip definition as this is not an intensely pigmented Gloss.. And it looks wonderful!
Overall a very luxe product - everything from the box to the tube it comes in with the heavy square package with a large silver knob on the top screams expensive. Definitely a get what you pay for product but despite being gorgeous I probably would never repurchase, one I am not a huge gloss fan in general (but actually like this one which speaks volumes) and secondly I would never shell out that much for one. I am reviewing the shade 'Angelique' I was rather amazed when I got sent this gorgeous shade for review, luck of the draw I guess as I presumed I might get a bright pink or red shade which I wouldn't really use, but this suits my complexion and colouring/preferred look perfectly -a gorgeous beige pinky nude - it's not pink, it's not peach and it's not mauve or brown or orange, it's unlike any nude gloss I have owned before, it gives a glowy look to the face with just a hint of colour, and a lovely milky opaque yet translucent coverage - no streaks here. Looks good on me with or without a liner. Not sticky which I love, more of a siliconey feel, no strong flavour or taste either which I appreciate and a lovely brush applicator which lets you apply a blob of product without getting all your germs in there, which means it will last a long time before I have to biff it out. Overall a lovely gloss, which appeals to me who doesn't really care for lipglosses and gives a lovely fresh nude lip.
This is the best lip gloss in the world would 100% recommend it to all my friends and family. I use this everyday and I love it I’m nearly out which means I’m going to buy more. One of the best lipglosses ever from Dior.
Tips: Glossy lips make guys dribble
