Tips: You don't need a lot so don't go squeezing lots out of the tube the first time like I did
This works really well as a primer, I typically use on days where my skin looks particularly dull and tired.
Pop a little on my skin, focusing in the T-Zone, wait for it to sink in and then proceed with my foundation. Foundation applies so smoothly and glides over my pores instead of accentuating them. My base always lasts longer and looks better after using Beauty Flash Balm, give it a try!
Tips: Apply foundation straight after application for a smooth, seamless finish
I know people rave about this product but I'm not convinced. I didn't notice any difference in my skin with using it. I found it not the greatest at helping my foundation stay on. I felt very 'greasy' with both the balm and foundation on together. My skin does tend to be oily though. I did follow instructions and put foundation over it straight away without letting it be absorbed first though. The Clarins girl told me to use it this way as if you don't you can end up with bitty foundation everywhere rather like dead skin bits. I haven't tried letting it absorb first but after reading some of the reviews on here, I will give that a go. But, as a primer I have found some other products that I definitely prefer.
I do love this product. It makes my skin glow and puts some colour in my cheeks. Using it before putting on makeup makes foundation easier to blend and apply. I do think that it is quite expensive and I can get the same result from Olay which is quarter the cost.
After a consultation with the Clarins counter manager at Farmers, she recommended I try using this product as a primer to help lift my skin and boost the hydration, as the foundation I was using at the time had really dehydrated my skin. I'm so glad she indorsed this product to me! Prior to this, I had never used a primer before, and in all honesty I didn’t even know the purpose of a primer! I was just told to Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise. This has been a great addition to my morning beauty ritual. I love that it is all natural and smells fantastic. It went on nice and smooth, however was a tad sticky, so I worked out if I left it to set for a wee while before putting on my foundation I was sorted. The container lasted for about 6 months as you only need a very small amount for full coverage. It was a great base for makeup during the day however I never used this at night. After about 2 months my skin had fully recovered from the dehydration and subsequent breakouts and I owe it all to Clairns.
Tips: Allow enough time for the primer to set before putting on any liquid foundation.
I recieved this as a gift, I was really unsure at first what it was... A moisturiser? Primer? Mask? The packaging kind of confused me as it said it Brightens and Tightens but can also be used once or twice a week as a mask for 10-15 minutes.
I have been using this as a moisturiser under my make up. Smells lovely and has a great light non-oily texture, leaves my skin feeling soft and awake, has a freshness about it that I adore in the morning. I would say this is a light moisturiser and would not be quite suitable for really dry skin. I have Oily/combination skin and find this wears well under my makeup without making me look too shiny throughout the day. I have found that sometimes that if you touch the product on your face too much or rub it in too much it begins to ball up on your skin.
This is quite a costly product and am unsure yet if I will buy this product myself. I will continue to use this bottle in the meantime and re-evaluate. I will update this review as I continue to try this Beauty Flash out.
Tips: Do not touch or rub in product too much into the skin

WOW this is my holy grail product! cannot live without it and believe EVERYONE needs to have one. It has so many multi purposes!! 1. As a make up primer 2. As a "pick me up" it brightens and tightens skin and wakes you up making you feel fresh and alive 3. As a mask after exfoliating as it calms skin 4. While flying in aeroplanes!! your skin gets so dehydrated and dry that it needs moisture and this is the perfect product
Tips: GET IT! you need it in your life!
I have been using Clarins Beauty Flash Balm for over 20 years now. Amazing product that leaves the skin feeling youthful and hydrated. A must have in my make up bag
Tips: Buy it at Duty Free as it is considerably cheaper
I have been using this for years!! My skin tightens and glows instantly. Sadly, it's been beyond my budget capacity lately but well worth what you pay for it. It's an instant pick me up for dull tired skin.and but might have to suck it up, restock and eat toasties this week! and ojust looking at ita
