I've only used this product because I use to work for Clarins. If I knew what I knew now I would have used it a long time ago. It does exactly what it says it does. I love it mainly because its a 3 in 1. A make up primer, a radiance booster and a mask. What more do you need for your regular routine!

Tips: A tip I found most helpful and this goes for a lot of Clarins skin products, is the method of application. You only need a small amount to start, warm it on your finger tips and then apply using a tapping motion all over the face. Do not rub it in, especially if you are using it as a make up primer because when you come to apply your foundation its rolls off your face. So tap to apply! If you want to use it as a mask just apply a thicker layer and leave it on for 10 minutes,
I have used a few balms to secure make up for the day. Having combination skin, usually dry in the morning and through out the day its visible where my oily areas are. I use a stick foundation as I prefer the coverage. I used Clarins Beauty flash balm and loved it. I've now been using for a few years and I feel it secures my make up through out the day. It doesn't make my skin feel sticky or heavy and I like the consistency of it. Clarins is a wonderful brand with a great variety.
Tips: Dont wear every day otherwise your skin gets use to it and can dry your skin out. I would recommend paying attention to where your make up wears off throughout the day and so, you know where to really apply your beauty flash balm.
Packaging: simple easy to use and handy travel size tube. Texture: looks thick, and creamy in texture but changes to a lighter lotion feel. Great as a primer gives a gentle tightening feel to the face for the pick me up feel after a night out. Also gave this a try as a mask -nourishing and tightening face felt amazing.
Tips: Do not rub this product! It will crumble. Quickly warm it in the hands and press on the skin and follow with make up straight after.
I was a bit skeptical when the sales lady told me about this amazing cream. A cream that I could use as an instant pick me up for my skin and even the delicate skin around the eyes (very appealing given the amount of travel and late nights I do and have) and an occasional mask. I ended up buying it because that would bump my purchase up to a level where I received a great little Clarins gift bag of goodies, and it was a little while before I used it.
Then one day when I was getting myself ready for work I felt my skin looked flat and I looked tired, so I got out the beauty flash balm. It's been a regular part of my morning routine since and I'm on to my third tube. I really love it. It does perk my face up and it really does provide a nice base for make-up. It is a bit on the expensive side, so I don't use it at night and nor do I use it as a mask.
Tips: Use it sparingly - a little goes a long way as you just need to spread it thinly over your skin. I do my face, neck and back of neck with about a .5cm dollop.
I have quite sensitive skin and I break out quite easily if I use the wrong moisturiser or balm, but I bought this because I thought "you pay for what you get" and it is definitely a pricey buy; but I was seriously surprised how soft and bright it made my skin look while still tightening. It worked really well with my skin and you didn't need to use much, so would def buy this again.
Tips: Make sure you really blend it into your skin and let your skin soak it up before putting anything on top :) but it works as good as a primer
I think this decreases the look of my smile lines by about 50%, Its clearly brightens and illuminates my skin but doesnt give it the oily/super glossy look which is GREAT. It is however super pricey, but it does do exactly what it says, so its worth it if your looking for something that tightens, brightens and reduces the appearance of lines. I use this under my foundation as a base or sometimes on its own to give me face a fresh awake glow. I paid around $58 from farmers for the smaller/medium sized tube. Cute fresh look and a little go's along way so lasts ages/
Love this product I find it sets my make up when I use it with my BB cream even on a hot day. Use it to just tighten my skin if I dont want to wear my BB cream, It never leaves my skin looking shiny after apply the product. When ever I use this product I always get people saying that I look well. Quite a pricey product but worth the money.
I love this product. It really does freshen and moisturise your skin removing the look of fine lines. Light enough for under makeup and feels super good if you don't wear makeup. It is packaged nicely that you can get to all of it. The only negative is that it is quite pricey however you do get a good product.
I love several Clarin's skin care products and have used for years. This is one of those well known products I've been wanting to try. Normal Clarin's packaging in a white tube, a thickish yellow cream. My skin did feel smoother instantly, the balm felt like it was tightening a little bit initially then disappeared after a few minutes; and that's really where it ended for me. It has a relatively fresh feeling on the skin, but I didn't actually see any difference, which is what I was hoping for. If you are going to pay good money for a product, I expect visual difference, not just a feel. I can't see the point in using it as a mask. Perhaps for dry skin it works better, but my water-dehydrated skin didn't benefit. I kept using until it was finished, but won't be buying again, as other primers and masks can offer a more targeted result.
Tips: When used as a primer, your bb cream/foundation needs to go on quickly before the balm dries, as cracking/caking may occur otherwise.
I'm new to makeup so I've never noticed if primer has an effect on my look or not, and the beauty flash balm is no exception. That doesn't exclude it from being the greatest thing I've put on my skin. It smells great (sort of like baby powder), it feels incredibly silky and of course, it has the ever-gorgeous Clarins packaging. Is it bad that I just use this as a special-occasion hand moisturiser?
