Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Reviews

so im an idiot and didnt realize this was a chubby stick for CHEEKS so i've been using it as a lip color for god knows how long. once i realized well.. i still didn't stop. it serves its purpose as a lip color haha

applies super easily and spreads nicely. faint hint of color on both cheeks and lips which i think makes me like it more. it feels moisturizing and if im not eating or drinking it does last quite a bit! as for cheek wear i cant complain there either.

id probably stick to the chubbys for the lips vs buying another cheek one and not reading it properly haha but this was still lovely!

Clinique has so many great skincare and makeup products. I use their three step skincare and purchase their gift with purchases when they come up. I was so excited to try this.

I love the chubby sticks for lips so I thought I would give this a try to see if I would enjoy this as much.

The package is a long tube which is distinctively Clinique. It’s stylish with the colour teamed with silver.

With this cheek colour I didn’t find it as easy to apply and blend as I had hoped. It came in a nice shade range but I think I much prefer powder blushes than this formula. I found it didn’t look as natural as when I use my normal blush.

So although a novelty, I think I will stick with the chubby sticks for lips, rather than blush.

This is far superior to any other stick blush I’ve used (including more expensive competitors). It blends so well, and gives a really natural, dewy finish. I find I only need to apply a small amount for a day time look but it needs a few layers for a more dramatic look. Definitely not as heavy as a powder.

I am always running late in the mornings, and I love this blush because it's so quick and easy to use. I just swipe it on my face and either blend it out with a stippling brush or my fingers (I find either works just as well with this product). Because I personally like a bolder blush look, and I also have oily skin I tend to set this cream blush with a powder blush to intensify the colour and help with longevity, but it is definitely still lovely on it's own.
