I have this woppin watermelon and I find this product hydrating to my lips. Although I use it in conjunction with my lipbalm -I find this good for my lips. It makes my lips glossy and smooth! I love the feel. I also love the packaging, very cute like a crayon! I have always wanted one of these and now that I got one I love it! I want to try the other colours and collect them all! The only downside with this is that the woppin watermelon is very very sheer - almost transparent to use so you need to put a heaps to make the pink pop out! But otherwise I am happy with this product.

Tips: Id you have the woppin watermelon - it is very sheer so you have to apply a lot to make the pink pop out.
This is the product that launched a thousand copies (well, quite a few!). It is colour that nourishes the lips and leaves them feeling supple and soft with a lovely wash of colour.
I loved the names, the variety of colours and texture of these. I am not a fan of sticky glosses so these were perfect for me. They are certainly expensive but while there does not look like much in the tube the stick lasts a deceptively long time for me.
These days there are lot of these types of sticks and they are much cheaper but I think the Clinique one is still the best as it has the balance between moisturising and colour exactly right whereas the cheaper ones may have lovely colour but tend not to have the same long lasting moisturising effect. Each to their own and I encourage those interested in these types of balms to play around with different brands.
This is a great wee product, enough color to qualify as a lipstick, sheer enough to be low committal - you don't need a mirror or a particularly steady had, literally swipe it on and it looks fab. I have tried other products in this type of thing..the Clinique one certainly has more staying power than your average one. Great color selection too. On the pricey side, but I think worth it. Great for more mature people too, as it won't bleed into lines but still offers the comfort of a gloss.
Tips: Put lipliner underneath to optimize wear and intensify color.
This has to be my favourite colour. The pigmentation for this particular colour is awesome! It comes off as a deep fuchsia. It is easy to apply, goes on evenly and yes it does rub off onto anything your lips come in contact with but it does leave a nice stain.
I don't find this overly moisturising, you definitely still need balm before you apply, if you have chappy lips like I do.
I've also tried Two Ton Tomato - nice bright red, pigmentation ok, and Voluptuous Violet - nothing special, very little pigmentation (would not recommend this particular shade).
Would recommend this product for daily wear!
I was given one of these by a friend who won a few. Love the fact that it looks like a crayon. It definitely does what it says and is really good for my dry lips. The colour stays on for ages compared to most other lipsticks and easily glides on. I'm not really a huge fan of lipsticks but this one is more like a gloss which is the one thing I love about it. Would definitely recommend it to a friend and have done before.
Chubby sticks are easy to use. They are sheer, slightly glossy, and can be applied without a mirror. My lips felt moisturized but the effect did not last. Once this wears off, your lips don't feel very hydrated.
Tips: Use this as you would a lip balm on days when you want to look natural but polished. Reapply every 2 hours.
I received this in a Clinique bonus time pack in the shade 'mega melon'. It's not a shade I would actually pick for myself but it is actually very flattering. Although this is a tinted balm, the pigment can be built up.
The chubby wind up crayon makes this super easy to apply - you could even get away without using a mirror. It feels super moisturising on whilst still providing colour. You do get transfer when eating and drinking but that's exactly what I would expect from a balm. Depending on how much you apply, the pigment will remain on your lips.
I would definitely use this again and would like to try other colours. However I do feel there a very similar products available for other brands which are more affordable.
I have this in the shade 'Graped-Up'. It's a lovely neutral shade that's just a touch darker than my natural lip colour.
It glides on easily, and I love the 'crayon' tip which helps to define my lip line area with ease.
While it doesn't have the longest staying power, it does sit on the lips nicely - so much so you don't feel like there's anything on your lips. While longevity isn't great, it's not a problem as you can whip this out and pop it on with ease. It's very handbag friendly.
Great for if you want that 'my lips but better' look.
Creamy and adds a beautiful hint of colour. Great longevity, pretty good for the price. The crayon is easy to use. Downside, tends to flake slightly when you have dried lips. Not the product though more my “before” care.
They're a really lovely option for your lips, nice and light but still providing colour. But I found the colours don't always last and they don't always look as bright as they should. I have one in Over-sized Orange but it does not really look orange on, more of a dark pink. I might have to try the new Intense ones.
