Clinique Quickliner for Eyes Intense Reviews

My sister is a big fan of this liner and she insisted me trying this. As I own several shades of UB 24/7, I decided to try the intense clove shade of this liner expecting it would help me to create a no-make-up look. And yes, I think it's great.

- It's a fast liner, it doesn't need to be sharpened, so really convenient if you often do makeup in a rush/ in your car. The smudging end is my favourite feature as it helps blending in just so well.

- The shade I have is really pretty and easy to use on a daily basis. I also like the fact that the texture is very smooth and glides on really well to my lids. It works so well when I want to go for a nude-look or no-make-up look.

- The price is not too high for such a good liner. I, however, bought it off from a deal so it's like 12$ (happy customer alert!!!)

As my eyelids are quite oily, the longevity of this liner can only be secured when I use an oil-free eye primer. If else, it can only stay for 3-4 hours on me.

This is one of my all time favourite eyeliners, if not my favourite, and I have tried LOTS of eyeliners.

This is exactly how they have described it, smooth and creamy! I have never found an eyeliner with such a 'soft' application! It literally glides on the skin, absolutely no tugging and gives such an intense colour. I have mine in the shade Intense Black, I love it and intend on purchasing more colours.

I love using this for the upper lashline and upper waterline. I find it gives an intense, long lasting colour with no smudging (after the 60 seconds or so of setting time).

This would probably work great on people with sensative eyes that still want great colour payoff because it gives just that with one swipe, no need to drag a stiff pencil across your eye multiple times!

I received a couple of these as GWPs and I'm so glad I did as I probably would never have tried it otherwise.

The Quickliner really works just as 'quick' as advertised. I'm not normally a fan of retractable eyeliners as in the past I seem to have had plenty of duds, but because the formula of this product is so great the retractable format works a charm. No sharpening, just wind it up (just a nudge mind you!) and you're away to go. Perfect when you're short on time but still want a great result.

The formula itself is smooth and creamy and glides along the skin like a charm, no tugging or jabbing the eyes. I have this in 'Intense Black' and it really is the perfect product for intense-looking eyes without having to resort to liquid eyeliner. The lines tend to draw on more smudgey and crayon-like than standard pencils so I find it perfect for create a smokey-eye look or dramatic eyeliner, but not for when you're after precision lines.

I love that you have about a minute or so of playing time before it sets, allowing you to apply it just how you want it. I've applied it to my upper water line, lash lines and also applied it after shadow to my upper lash line. After it's applied it's really long-lasting without smudging, even with a little water (great if you get caught in a spot of rain in winter!).

For what it is I find it's extremely good value, especially as it's a Clinique product which are normally priced a little higher. This is my go-to liner for night time and I highly recommend it for a more dramatic but easy to use liner.

I got this as a gift with purchase. It is a nice hybrid, almost the intensity of liquid but with most of the staying power of a pencil.

I have the black which I love as it doesn't smudge the way liquid (even the felt tip pen style liquids) do on me. Most days it wears really nicely but if I get really sweaty or have to put make up on very quickly after a shower it does smudge off my lash line onto my upper lid.

I like this because I am horrible with Liquid Eyeliners (I even took the time to try to learn, it just wasn't working for me) . I find this incredibly easy to use (more so than even a pencil liner) because it literally just glides on.

You could touch up throughout the day, but it's fairly long lasting

One of the few eyeliners that don't smudge and don't involve any pulling or tugging on your eyelids . the twist up mechanism is fabulous! It's retractable which i like alot because you never have to sharpen.

I also like the smudging brush on the opposite end if you wanted to quickly change to a smokey eye. Try it!

the only downside is i while using it overseas in Vietnam's in 30+ temperatures i found that if i wore it alone with no eyeshadow it would end up in the crease of my eyelid after awhile. i could not combat this issue by dusting my eyelids with translucent powder. the only thing that stopped it was wearing it with eyeshadow. I dont however have this problem back in NZ so long as i apply powder over it and in the crease of my eyelid.

Comes in six colours, all deep dark smoky numbers and all typical Clinique play-safe options. I tried Intense Plum, a deep purple; Intense Charcoal, a dark smoky grey just a few shades off black; and Intense Ivy, a dark moss green. But to be honest, from far off, you can barely tell that they are all different colours anyway so I do wish Clinique had turned up the colour instead of the black. Intense Charcoal is very similar to Smoke Grey. I think green eyeliners look awesome with brown eyes, so I was disappointed in quite how un-green Intense Ivy looked once it was on. My favourite was Intense Plum, which boasts a gorgeous purple shimmer that isn’t totally lost on the eye

As ever with Clinique, they’re all 100% fragrance-free and stringently dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested, meaning you can be guaranteed a gentle formula that works well

For ease of use and intensity of colour, these Clinique Quickliners are a winner. They’re all in shades perfect for creating dramatic smoky eyes yet just a simple swipe or two makes for a good defined everyday eye too.

Whilst they’re not going to replace my holy grail eyeliner Revlon colour stay anytime soon, they will definitely be staying in my stash as great options

What?!

It really is everything I could want in an eyeliner. As above, it can be applied directly over eye shadow (that never happens!) and its so creamy and soft that you would think it would eventually slip down your face.

BUT IT DOESN'T!

I also really love a retractable pencil - none of that breaking off like a pencil because you can just wind it back down, and I cannot even begin to tell you the dramas of a liquid.

It is also great to use on your waterline, unlike a lot of pencils.

And I really think its worth every penny!!

I purchased this on a whim, I was looking for a new eyeliner and saw this, and the pharmacy lady was actually wearing it and it looked good. Rather pricey for an eyeliner, and You can twist it up but not down again which I don't like. I got the 03 shade, intense chocolate which is not as harsh on me as black. Made in Germany, Opthomologist tested, good for people with allergies and sensitive eyes, which I like because my eyes tend to sting and water with a lot of brands. There's a soft spongy tip on the other end for blending which is handy. Smooth and creamy, easy to apply. I may not repurchase because of the high price, but if you want to treat yourself to a nice eyeliner, consider this one.
