They're expensive, for sure, but for what is essentially pure pigment in a very useful format, I think it's worth it. I have G30 and I add a couple of drops to sheer products to dial up the coverage level. I've also used them to adjust the undertone of very pink-toned foundations to suit me better (I'm more of a neutral tone). The bottle is a little bit less than ideal because a) it's glass and b) the dropper can get a little messy, but I just handle with care and haven't made too much of a mess yet.

Tips: Search online thoroughly for swatches before you commit to a shade.
I recently purchased this product off sephora after I heard so many youtubers raving about it. Although this bottle is small, the product inside is super pigmented. I got the shade G20, as in Winter my skin fades from bronze goddess, to jaundiced. So all my favourite foundations need a little lightening love.
The product comes in a tiny bottle with a dropper dispenser, which makes using the product all that easier. This product blends nicely into the foundation without changing the texture or finish of the product. It makes customising your foundation so much easier, just a few drops and your foundation goes from just cake to icing on top of cake as well (which I love). So if you're into a light coverage product whack some of this into some moisturiser and you'll be good to go.
The fact that there are so many different undertones in the shade range and a little goes a long way, this product is definitely a keeper. My only worry is that with so many shades being suited for every skin tone in the middle, super pale or dark girls might miss out. Cover FX may widen the shade range with time, but if you find one that will suit you snap that little bottle of goodness right up.
Tips: Play around with how many drops you are using, remember a little goes as far af.
I purchased this to add to a moisturiser to provide a light coverage to my daily look rather than bothering with makeup on my days off but I honestly used it probably twice then forgot or just couldn't be bothered as I have a few BB and CC creams just found it relatively useless.
It does give a nice hue of colour that if you get the correct shade matches your natural skin tone and gives you a moistured tint the same as any BB, CC or tinted moisturiser does so for the price, hard to find in NZ aspect I wouldn't bother with these custom drops to be honest.
This is quite pricy and you don't get a lot, but if you manage to get it on sale it is well worth it! Just one drop makes a massive difference.
It mixes really well with all sorts of foundations, and not only gives it more coverage but also helps it blend further. I definitely feel like you could use a lot less foundation, when you add a drop of this. it doesn't detract from the finish of the foundation, but it can extend the wear, and it doesn't crease when used under the eyes.
It also mixes well with a sunblock or a thick moisturiser or primer, it also works with thin consistencies, just not as well as thicker ones. It can be used on its own, but the finish is not as flawless, and it can be a bit harder to blend out, I guess because its made to be diluted.
Tips: A darker colour and a lighter colour of these drops are useful to have - you can turn your foundation into contour/concealer, or adjust a foundation you already have to suit your skin tone.
I like to use a teeny tiny dot of this, in a colour that matches me, on small blemishes that hard to cover, especially on days when I'm not wearing much makeup - it looks invisible when its used to spot -conceal
Like me you would have come across the horror that is mismatched in colour for foundations, having seen these custom cover drops all over my favourite YouTube vloggers I was intrigued to track a bottle down on Beautylish, hoping that G20 was going to work, and it sure does!
This wee little glass bottle with a droplet dispenser that is opaque to the point of the teardrop which is CoverFX's logo that is clear to allow you to see through to the liquid inside. With the easy to use pipette droplet that helps you to just pick up a few drops rather than over spill and waste product.
Formula is really thick and heavily pigmented so you really do need to go easy with this product. I find it best to mix with moisturiser for a light tinted moistured look with an almost full coverage effect with the use of up to 3 drops. Correct the colour of foundation, especially if it is too dark this probably wouldn't work to lightened a shade unless you actually brought a shade lighter than your normal foundation. I was able to save a couple of really expensive foundations that I loved the formula off but the colour was tending to pull a little too orange for me, a drop saw this a major change in the colour but it didn't effect the formula texture and coverage.
A handy tool to have in your arsenal of makeup goodies, highly recommend even though expensive it lasts such a long time.
