very cheap and does what it says it will. it does run and smudge but this happens with all eyeliners to an extent. for the price that you pay for this pencil.. what can you expect. it is good for a soft water line eyeliner
I chose this eyeliner when I was looking for one that was affordable. It was a fairly standard eye pencil. I did find that it didn't last as long as some more expensive brands, but overall stayed on for the duration it needed to. User friendly for eyelining newbies.
Tips: Great for younger girls as not as thick, dark or expensive as other eye pencils.
I received this product via my make up pack for polytech.
Firstly it presents as a professional looking pencil - I have the black one.
It is quite soft and doesn't cause drag on the eyelid when applied. I found it easy to apply and didn't have the same issue with smudging that other people seem to have.
It created quite a fine line which was a bonus.
It was quite long lasting and then easy to remove before going to bed.
I think it is a great product for an economical price and would recommend it to others.
Tips: I like to apply foundation to my eye area before applying eyeliner, and maybe that helped it stick and reduce smudging.
When I was on a very tight budget and had run out of black eyeliner this was the product I chose. I generally look for a nice soft pencil that doesn't feel like its dragging on the skin and a nice rich pigmented color. This pencil is pretty good, not the best.. But does the job. I do feel like it drags a little bit and the pencil itself is quite hard to use.. So you want to make sure its not super pointy if you are lining your inner eye. The color pay off is pretty good, but not as dark as I would usually like it. All in all, great for the price if you are on a budget but you need to be a bit more thorough with application to get a more intense color!
Tips: I would recommend drawing a little bit on your hand first to flatten any points.. I find it quite hard and it drags on the eye a little bit which isn't good if you are lining your inner eye.. Excluding that, its pretty good for the price!
I use this eyeliner pencil in the shade "violet" I have been using this for several years and is always the purple I go back to. I have used other brands and their purples are quite dark and I like that the designer brands one is a lighter shade. I has a nice soft consistently, and glides on without tugging. Most importantly this product is super affordable so why not have one in every shade.
This was my first ever eyeliner and for $9 it was very affordable to buy and I thought I did an amazing job. But now that I actually have a job I don't reach for this eyeliner anymore as I have found for me it smudges and it doesn't have a lot of staying power. I have also found that the black isn't that pigmented also. They have an alright color range. I was also appealed to this brand due to a loyalty card when you buy sixth products the seventh one is free.
Tips: Great for beginners or someone on a budget
I bought this eyeliner when I lost mine on holiday. Mine had a sharpener on the lid, which I thought was a great idea. There's a great range of colours, so I got the black and a purple as well. But the black was a bit of a letdown. It was quite hard at first, but softened further down after sharpening quite a few times to find a soft spot that was less scratchy. But it really had no staying power, it smudged pretty quickly and I looked like a panda within an hour. I guess it would be ok if you're going for a smudgy/smokey look, but it still doesn't stay that well. It's not bad for the price, but I would rather spend a bit more and get a brand I know has better staying power.
This is yet another black khol eyeliner that everyone has in there collection. Its as good as any other eyeliner pen out there.
It has good colour pay of and its very creamy and glides on very good. The black is very black! So its very good!
The ones I got had built in sharpeners which I think is a plus and just makes everything so much easier to use.
I have Kohl eye pencil in Black.
I have sensitive eyes, and this does not irritate my eyes at all. I must say with a great price tag, longer pencil than the regular/most pencil sizes...You cannot go wrong. To avoid smudging, I sharpen then whip it through a naked flame just a second or less, and voila, a clean and dependable eyeliner, can create smoky eye affect or subtle daytime smoky eye...love this pencil!
