I went on a bit of a splurge recently and bought a ton of dior products. Loving every single one of them! This mascara screams luxury and really does beat the lower end mascaras.
The packaging is a gold tube slightly longer than normal mascaras. The brush is quite large, with lots of bristles shaped like a caterpillar. I find the brush really helps grab every one of my lashes even the baby ones at the roots.
The formula is a good thick consistency. It's easy to apply and doesn't clump! Not even after 2 coats! My lashes are so much longer but still somewhat 'individual' as opposed to a clumped up mess. The best thing about this is it really helps hold a curl on my pathetically straight lashes. I'm amazed by how curly my lashes look without even having to use an eyelash curler beforehand.
Throughout the day this doesn't clump or smudge off, but it's easy to remove at night with an eyemakeup remover wipe.
This mascara has it all. Yes it's expensive but it's definitely worth it.
I have been using this mascara for the last month everyday for work and it's gorgeous! It glides on with no clumps and I don't have to put two coats as it coats evenly. As I have green eyes I got the Plum (#871) and it really brings out the colour of my eyes. It also drys quickly so when I blink after applying it, it doesn't leave little lash marks on my cheeks or upper eyelid. The colour last all day and it does require eye make up remover to remove all of it as it's waterproof.
Tips: Apply to outer lashes first to get a good coating then move in towards the inner eye. No need to do bottom lashes as it has the intensity to make your eyes 'pop' with just the top lashes coated.
