Duo Adhesive Glue Review

I used mine a few times, I enjoy that holds strong all day, I don't enjoy how thick and gloopy it is, once you press the lash on, doesn't dry as quickly as I would like, so it spreads out onto the eyelid and lashes and doesn't dry clear, so i end up covering with more eyeshadow. It isn't the best or worst I've had. Would definitely keep using it as my back up. And I like the price for what you receive

I have only fully ventured into false eyelashes for maybe the last 1-2 years. I had tried using them years and years ago on and off but I just found that the glue that came with the lashes just never lasted, they would either come away at the corners or one if not both lashes would come off within 20 mins of having them on. So hence why I gave up, Im sure we all knew the struggle ;)

This is a product I never regret buying! I saw all the girls on Youtube using it so I was very eager to give it a go. I did end up purchasing mine from a MAC store so it was a little bit more expensive than what is listed here but it was soo worth it!!

This product definately has more pros than what there are cons. The two cons I have about this product is the packaging, would be awesome if it had a brush applicator as sometimes you can waste a bit of product or it gets messy. The other is the smell of it, after a while it isnt too pleasent, kindve smells fishy almost but that is only when you first open it, I personally cant smell the glue once the lashes are on my eyes.

Despite the cons though, I still love this product!! You can get a white or dark glue formulation, I got the white glue and YES! it does dry completely clear! It has never irritated my eyes or my friends eyes for that matter which is awesome! Annoying when you are almost finished and then you have tears running down your face from an irritation... Frustrating! And holy moley!! Does this stuff really stick!! Im sorry for the (!!) but it really does! Even on a big night out right through untill the next morning!..... I know I know going to bed with make up on but sometimes it just has to be done :P This stuff is definatley great for getiing another days wear out of your individual clusters too! (shock face..)

So Ill say it again.. This product is amazing!! So worth the buy in my opinion, I havent had to look at anything else since. Mind you I would like to giving others a go just because you never know but Im not rushing :) This product is incredible sturdy, doesnt irritate, drys clear and is super long lasting, will take forever to finish the tube. What else do you need?! ;) xx

I always used to use the lash glue that came with the lashes until I'd read reviews on Duo after researching how to apply false lashes as I absolutely SUCKED at it. I eventually purchased some and I'm so glad I did.

It comes in a resealable squeezy tube which is convenient as one tube will last ages. It comes out a thick white liquid which dries completely clear (you can also buy this in a dark formula which dries black). It smells faintly fishy when you first squeeze it out but not nearly as bad as some other lash glue's I've used.

The way I've found to best use this is put a dollop on a clean flat surface (i.e cardboard or makeup compact lid) and then either run the lash through it or use a cotton tip to coat the lashband. Wait for the glue to go tacky (~30secs with this glue) and apply. Using this glue I find that I get at least 8hrs wear and if I coat the lashband properly it stays stuck down.

The only con is that I find if you only use it once in a blue moon, it can separate very slightly and then it doesn't stick as well so it pays to mix it up with a cotton tip before using if this is the case - very easy fix though.

I would recommend this glue for anyone (especially beginners) using falsies. Best glue I've found so far!

Great all rounder eyelash adhesive. Dries clear, stays put, and has a great tackiness to it that means lashes stick down on the first try. Holds lashes firmly in place and lasts a heck of a lot better than any adhesives I've had that come with the lashes (I think they're usually just too liquidy, not quite tacky or viscous enough).

stays on all day, great with all lashes ive tried it with.works a million times better than the glue that usually come with lashes when you purchase them, only fault is that it can be tricky to remove, sometimes painful but this also depends on the lashes u use it with. definitely recommend.

This lash glue ticks most of the boxes for me except for three: scent, application method and waiting time.

I prefer to use the Duo lash glue in Dark because it looks more natural against dark lashes and there's no ugly white blobs to ruin your eye makeup you've worked so hard to perfect haha.

What I like about this glue is that it's strong enough to keep your fake lashes on until you gently pull them off without pulling out your real ones.It is tacky enough that you can pull the glue off of your fake lashes without ruining them so you reuse them. At first I scoffed at the price for this tiny tube but it lasts me for well over a year but will obviously depend on usage.

The scent seriously smells like fish which goes away once you wear your fake lashes but jeepers sometimes I wonder what other foul smelling things I'm willing to put on my face.

With the application of glue you have to squeeze the product onto the lash strip and if you're new to this you're looking at big blobs. This can lead to a bit of stinging but it's not life threatening. There is no angled tip to assist in the application you just squeeze and hope you can get a nice thin layer - if you're in a rush - forget it.

The waiting time is what probably annoys me most. Once you've applied the glue you have to wait 30 seconds or longer until the glue becomes tacky to place on your top lash line - who has 30 seconds to spare when you're in a rush? It's interesting because Ardell lash glue ticks these 3 boxes but fails to tick the others. If I had to choose I would still go with Duo because removing your lashes does not hurt with this glue.

The Duo glue has me hooked. For a long time I was just using the glue that come with my false eyelashes and it seemed to do the job but then I brought a bulk pack of eyelashes and didn't have enough glue. I came to BR hoping to find some advice that would help me and it did! I read up about the Duo Glue and decided to get some. I find this glue very easy to apply to the lashes with the pointed tip.It does take a little time to get tacky and dry but thats not such a biggie for me as I always leave too much time to get ready :) Its clear which is great but the odour is quite strong until its dry The lasting time is fantastic, it lasts a good 8 hours and still need to pull them off after. Highly recommenced if you wear falsies alot

This Duo glue does work, it sticks your lashes for a long length of time. I would use it again as it is a great product, but I prefer the version without the latex as I don't like waiting for them to dry, as I forget about them and miss the point where I should put them on.

Love this brand! My lashes never fall off if I use this glue. Best part is that I don’t ever have to check if my inner lash is coming off, because it sticks on that great!
