Duo Adhesive Glue Review

Ever since I started wearing falsies this year I've been trying to find a good eyelash glue so I won't have to use the mini little bottle that you usually get with the eyelashes. I heard tons of good comments about this so I thought I'd try it out. I bought both the clear one and the black one. This one squeezes out really easily and is quite thin. It's easy to control and spread, and doesn't get 'globs' even after being opened for a good couple of weeks. This is easy to remove and the glue dissolves when I hold an eye makeup remover wipe on my eyes for a while. Bought this on ebay for around $5 and have bought another 3 since I started using it!

I purchased a few cheap pairs of false lashes from the warehouse to practice application with. I couldn't understand for the life of me why they were not sticking to my eye lids properly

Someone suggested it might be the glue. So on a recommendation I looked into this glue and read the reviews.

With glowing reviews I purchased a tube from an online beauty store for $9 USD. And man am I glad I did!

The white tube is sturdy and the wee nozzle end is easy to get the glue from. Too easy in fact. The glue is white and quite a runny consistency so running the glue along the flash lash isn't ideal, it's quite messy. So I put a strip on the back of my hand and use a cotton bud to transfer it onto the false eyelash.

Make sure you wait for the glue to dry and go tacky before applying, this honestly makes such a huge difference! This glue dries clear and sticks amazingly well. You have enough time to move the lash around before it sets but you do need to work quickly otherwise once it's stuck and you pull it you'll find you need to re apply it as it won't re stick.

Amazing stick,amazing lasting power all round great glue but oh so hard to wash off!

This does take some elbow grease to get off your skin. I will continue to use this product but with the consistency I would love to see it come out with a brush design

I love using the adhesive not just for lashes but spfx makeup too. I apply gems and other things with it and I find that the glue is strong and lasts a long time!

I love using the dark glue for eyelashes as you cant see the glue when it dries and blends into the band of the lashes

I absolutely love this glue. I have tried a few different ones that usually come with eyelashes and they do not work as well. Duo always holds true for me. The white, clear and black all work wonderfully. I use this for lashes and also for special fx makeup. I get the biggest size since I go through so much with my clients. But, seriously it’s the best. They hold all day without any peeling in the corners so you can rest assured that your lashes are staying on as long as you need them to.

Removal is painless which is nice because a lot of other brands really tug at the hairs to get off and it isn’t fun at all.

I bought a pack of eyelashes from Look Fantastic and the Duo Adhesive Glue was an extra thing that came along with it. When squeezed out the blue looks white, but once dried it turned clear. It’s contained in a white plastic tube, that looks likes a small super glue. The glue is supposed to be waterproof and long lasting.

I use this glue whenever I wear false eyelashes. The instructions say to squeeze a thin line along the lash band, I always struggle with this as I tend to squeeze a thick amount, no matter how much I try. The instructions recommend a toothpick to spread it evenly, but I didn’t have any and I ended up squeezing it on a cotton bud and gently rubbing it on to the lash band. I found this method worked better than squeezing It directly onto the lash band. I waited about 30 seconds for it to set, before I applied the false eyelashes close to my natural lash line and gently pressed it down to secure it into place. I just pressed it down for a minute, so the glue dries properly. Once that was set, there was no appearances or signs of the glue as it was very clear, so the false lashes looked very natural.

This is the best lash glue I have ever tried and the false lashes lasted more than 8 hours and even works well through eye sweat. I definitely recommend it and the price is reasonable. I don’t often wear false lashes, so mine has lasted me over a year. I also found it to be gentle on my skin and it was easy to remove without harming my natural lashes and eyelids.

I have tried several lash glues to try and find the right one of me.

This has a good formula - it dries quickly and isn't messy to use. My lashes stay in place all day and it also doesn't irritate the skin on my eyelids.

I do find however that it can be easy to squeeze too much, but it's easy to spread and even out. And, like most glues, it can be hard to clean off the lashes.

The first time I tried Duo, I tried it in the black, but I much prefer the clear as the lashes don't need the extra colour and any mistakes then aren't on display.

This glue is perfect and really sticks those lashes on well! its the perfect size to fit in my little purse when I go on a night out, for those little spot touches on the edges of my lashes that I often need half way through the night. I have gone out and found myself where I slept with my lashes on and my lashes are still stuck on nicely when I use this glue!

This is my go to lash glue! This glue does a fantastic job of keeping my fake lashes in place, all day and all night. I love that it goes on white then drys down clear. If it rains and my lashes are get wet they are very safe and will not just come off Until I want them to come off. The removal is easy and there is NO pain; you can use an oil, micellar water or warm cleaning to remove them. You can use this as a FX product ie for fake scars/cuts etc.
