I love these! So affordable and cute! The pigmentation is really good, they give a nice glow to your cheek bones or i like to use it under my brows as well. You do have to reapply it every so often but you only need a little bit. My favourite shade is 'Lilac Petal' it blends quite well with my skin tone. I don't think they are the best out there but they are amazing for their price! :)

Tips: Use your fingers in a dabbing rather than a rubbing motion to blend it in. Only use a very small amount, it goes a long way,
I expected this product to be more pigmented than it actually was, i found that there wasn't much of a difference with or without this product. It was very affordable so i am not too bothered this product didnt work out for me but I think the product isnt very pigmented, no real differences observed. However i may go and purchase another shade (pink lemonade). I heard these were dupes for benefits high beam but so far have not been convinced.
This is so inexpensive, so I thought I would pick one up.
I chose the colour Pink Lemonade, it is so much more pigmented than I thought it would be. You only need the tiniest amount to get a nice shimmery pink glow.
It blends out so easily, and looks wonderful.
It lasts all day, with no wear.
This smells so yummy too. Great buy for $3!
I love this highlighter! I apply this to my cheek bones, Cupid's bow, forehead, and eyebrow bone.
It's well pigmented which is great and it makes you feel like you are glowing. I prefer this over the high end highlighters and this only cost me $3 from k mart!
The tube is small but a little goes a long way & for the price of it there's really nothing to complain about :)
I purchased one of these off iHerb.com for a few dollars. First, I must say that I am OBSESSED with highlighters. I thought a good starting point with the ELF ones was to go with the colour 'Spotlight' as it is a pearly white one and I am quite pale.
First impression was that the tube was quite small and I personally think the little nozzle is too small of an opening, but the product is lovely and thick and creamy, so much so that you would only need a tiny amount anyway!
It smells lovely, kind of like a sweet candy (personally there is nothing worse than a liquid highlighter that smells bad). The coverage is good, though the shine content wasn't as much as I would have liked.
I am keen to try more of these in other colours as they are soooo cheap to purchase, but in saying that, I do still have other highlighters I prefer more. I am more of a powder highlight girl, but I believe everyone needs at least one liquid for a dewy look!
Tips: I found tapping it onto the skin with my pinky finger works better than applying with a brush, though if you had a really small stippling brush, this would also work.
I didn't know much about highlighting until I joined beauty review, and being very new to it I didn't really want to splash out on something only to learn I was terrible at it or it didn't look right - so I bought a Pink Lemonade Shimmering Facial Whip from iHerb.
It's quite pigmented. It took me awhile to get it right - I think I went on a bit thick and messed up my foundation a few times. But I kept at it and found that a light application with a brush is much better. The pink is a bit much for me, so I bought spotlight which is the white one and I found that works much better. I just use a little on my cheek bones and a tiny bit on my cupids bow.
Its a really small tube, but it takes so little to get a lovely glow I think it will last a long time. Definitely worth purchasing to have a play with!
Tips: A little goes a long way!
I haven't used an illuminator before this but wanted to try one and Iherb was selling this on Iherb for next to nothing, so I decided to give it a go.
I have a warm-toned complexion so wanted to try the golden shade which was unfortunately sold out, so decided to give "Pink Lemonade" a go.
I applied it first with my RT blender to my cheekbones, completely overdoing the ammount of product and ending up looking like a doll with verrrryyy rosey cheeks. The colour is super pigmented, I didn't expect it to apply so pink!
Second time around I was more reserved and applied just a tad to my cheekbones with my fingertips, blending it into my pre-applied foundation. It highlighted my cheekbones beautifully, giving me the most radiant, natural glow. You only need the tiniest amount so apply sparingly and this should last you a long time. I will definately recommend and repurchase this, hopefully golden is available next time as I'd be excited to see how it goes on other areas of the face!
Tips: I apply this before my foundation sets completely, before using my ELF HD powder, I find this helps blend it in really easily.
This small lovely tube used to be my favourite. It is really easy to use and create great shimmering effects. I used it for highlighting (my skin was more tanned at that time) as well and it worked just fine. I find it works better with a brush but my friend just uses her hand. It does not stay very long on my skin (prob. mine is oily/combination).
Tips: A brush can bring better effects
You rarely fail me elf, this time is no exception. $3 for this product and it's lovely. Suuuper pretty colour. Smells delicious and all round is a great product. I haven't actually tried it as anything other than a cheek bone highlight, so will definitely give it a try in other ways!
I think this is good for beginners on a budget(like me). Can be a bit sticky but it definitely lasts. Its cheap aswell so that makes it fab
Tips: i prefer to put it on after i have primed and then my foundation over the top, if i want even more of a dewy look ill put more on top after powder
