I love the peach coloured one. A little goes a long way and it's perfect, not too glittery, just a nice metallic shimmer. It also smells nice, like fruity lemonade. However, it never really dries down and feels slightly sticky. That doesn't bother me as I don't touch my cheekbones while wearing makeup anyways.

I love using this after primer underneath my foundation, as some foundations I use separate underneath when I put this over top of it. I don't like using this on bare skin on a no foundation day however, they tend to feel a little tacky when left unset.
Elf always impresses me with it's low costs but such effective results. This highlighter is so pigmented and lasts forever! Such a nice pink shimmer that you can easier layer for a more dramatic effect. Have had for a couple years now and stiff have't used it all! I also tend to put a bit below my brow line and looks soooo amazing.
Tips: apply with finger then blend with brush
Good colour and applys easily. Great pigment and lasts all day. A beautiful looking product. Very affordable also.
I love elf products generally - they are super cheap, cruelty free and work really well. I have this facial whip in two colours and they are both really nice (lilac petal and spotlight). They are difficult to get used to using - have to use really sparingly and in exactly the right place to look nice. They are dupes for products like High Beam by benefit etc. Would definitely use them again due to how ridiculously cheap they are online (i think i paid about $3 from iHerb.com).
Tips: apply sparingly and blend well
I'm obsessed with highlighting so I grabbed all three of these! I've been using golden peach and haven't tried the other two, so golden peach is what I am reviewing.
These come in little squeezey tubes so they are slightly difficult to get out. What I mean is that it's a little hard to not get too much - you definitely don't want to be squeezing these too hard or you will end up looking like you were painted in them haha :p
I applied this to where I usually do - my cheekbones, temple, forehead and cuspids bow. What I found was that the formula was a teeny bit thick so had to be worked into your skin. I used both a brush and my fingers and found that using my fingers gave a better more natural result.
This colour looked really natural and pretty on my skin. I have yellow undertones so this worked really well for me.
As you only need a small amount, this is going to last me ages and it's one of those items I will take with me when I travel because if it gets lost or broken it doesn't matter so much as it was so cheap.
I found the pigmentation slightly intense so I'd suggest only using a small amount first and then building it up to how shimmery you like to be :)
I also used this over the top of lipstick to give my lips a nice shimmer and it worked really well for that too (I was actually asked what lipstick I was wearing because my friend loved how it looked). I love products that have more than one use!
Lastly, you could get away with blending a little of this with your foundation or bb cream, to give a luminous glow. I did this as well and really loved how fresh it made my skin look. Just be careful to use only a small amount.
Overall this was a steal for the price. It's not as creamy or easy to use as my Watts Up from Benefit, but then it is less than 3/4 of the price too...
I totally recommend this to anyone. ELF really seems to prove you don't need to spend a lot of $$ on products to get decent results, and this is no exception.
Tips: Start off with a really small amount and use your fingers to blend it in for a really natural glow to your skin.
I haven't used an illuminator before this but wanted to try one and Iherb was selling this on Iherb for next to nothing, so I decided to give it a go.
I have a warm-toned complexion so wanted to try the golden shade which was unfortunately sold out, so decided to give "Pink Lemonade" a go.
I applied it first with my RT blender to my cheekbones, completely overdoing the ammount of product and ending up looking like a doll with verrrryyy rosey cheeks. The colour is super pigmented, I didn't expect it to apply so pink!
Second time around I was more reserved and applied just a tad to my cheekbones with my fingertips, blending it into my pre-applied foundation. It highlighted my cheekbones beautifully, giving me the most radiant, natural glow. You only need the tiniest amount so apply sparingly and this should last you a long time. I will definately recommend and repurchase this, hopefully golden is available next time as I'd be excited to see how it goes on other areas of the face!
Tips: I apply this before my foundation sets completely, before using my ELF HD powder, I find this helps blend it in really easily.
I didn't know much about highlighting until I joined beauty review, and being very new to it I didn't really want to splash out on something only to learn I was terrible at it or it didn't look right - so I bought a Pink Lemonade Shimmering Facial Whip from iHerb.
It's quite pigmented. It took me awhile to get it right - I think I went on a bit thick and messed up my foundation a few times. But I kept at it and found that a light application with a brush is much better. The pink is a bit much for me, so I bought spotlight which is the white one and I found that works much better. I just use a little on my cheek bones and a tiny bit on my cupids bow.
Its a really small tube, but it takes so little to get a lovely glow I think it will last a long time. Definitely worth purchasing to have a play with!
Tips: A little goes a long way!
I purchased one of these off iHerb.com for a few dollars. First, I must say that I am OBSESSED with highlighters. I thought a good starting point with the ELF ones was to go with the colour 'Spotlight' as it is a pearly white one and I am quite pale.
First impression was that the tube was quite small and I personally think the little nozzle is too small of an opening, but the product is lovely and thick and creamy, so much so that you would only need a tiny amount anyway!
It smells lovely, kind of like a sweet candy (personally there is nothing worse than a liquid highlighter that smells bad). The coverage is good, though the shine content wasn't as much as I would have liked.
I am keen to try more of these in other colours as they are soooo cheap to purchase, but in saying that, I do still have other highlighters I prefer more. I am more of a powder highlight girl, but I believe everyone needs at least one liquid for a dewy look!
Tips: I found tapping it onto the skin with my pinky finger works better than applying with a brush, though if you had a really small stippling brush, this would also work.
There are so many great shades for this product. I have the shade "Golden Peach" and it is gorgeous! It looks small but a little goes a long way. I find it blends best using your fingers.
