I personally really live this primer I use the clear one for every day use for work and it's sooo good !! My foundation slides on so easy and with my beauty blender it really does make my skin look dewy. I love the feeling of it when it goes on to your skin and removing make up after work is so much easier. I also have the primer in radiant glow but only use this when I go out because the shimmer in it can be too overwhelming during the day in the sun you look like a vampire of twilight

Tips: I apply mine with a paddle foundation brush, particularly because with this product a little goes a long way and red brush ensures an even spread on my face xx
I'm not sure if I would buy this again to be honest. I like the packaging, but I'm pretty sure the primer is only in a small bit inside, so the bottle is quite deceptive - you get less product than you would think.
The price is very reasonable for a primer, but when I put it on there is a weird unpleasant chemical smell that I really don't like. It hasn't reacted with my skin or caused a breakout (yet) but the smell - yuck. I haven't seen anyone else mention the smell though so maybe I just got a weird batch..?
It does its job as a primer pretty well, my foundation goes on nice and smoothly. I don't see any difference in redness though so I think the "tone adjusting green" is rubbish.
I'll keep using it till it runs out but after that I think I'll have to buy a more expensive, non smelly primer.
Tips: Block your nose! It smells!!
I adore the elf range of primers. They have become an absolute necessity in my daily beauty regime and I wouldn't be without them.
In saying that, this particular green primer is probably my least favourite in the range. Yes, it is a superb primer, leaving my skin feeling incredibly smooth and providing a wonderful base for my makeup, but I just don't seem to be able to see any benefit from the green anti-redness toner.
I unfortunately suffer from quite a bit of redness in my complexion and the idea of a green toner to help with this is really appealing, but having tried this particular green product for a couple of months now, I've never seen any difference in my skin tone between my bare skin and my primed skin. Which is a real pity as I'd like to see some benefit, especially given that the primer looks somewhat swamp-like with it's algae green colouring.
Tips: I wouldn't bother going for this if you're looking for a green toner, but if you're after a great primer, then give this a try or go for it's more visually appealing clear cousin.
I absolutely love this primer, it works wonders and is sooo affordable! I feel naked if I don't use my primer first and I feel like it makes my make up last and look so much better!
Tips: Apply with brush to get even amount on skin :)
This primer makes my skin so smooth and soft, it makes applying my foundation a much more enjoyable experience! My skin isn't extremely red but i do have some days where my skin is reasonably red and it takes away some of my redness, i wouldn't say it is amazing in that department but it is very cheap and does the job!
Tips: A little goes a long way, one pump does my whole face!
I've only used the green but got the white one which I really need to try, I was amazed at how the tone adjusting primer felt when I put it on my face was nice and smooth as well as my fingers I couldnt believe it and still can't really, it helps with my red cheeks and wow just wow. A little seems to go a long way which is great as well, definitely a must have product and cheap.
My makeup haul just arrived from ELF and I am slowly working through all the products. The first on this morning was this - my first ELF product and my first EVER primer (after falling in love when I tried some of my friend's and reading all of these BR reviews).
It truly does make your skin feel AMAZING. I used it after my moisturiser as advised and it made me feel like I had a perfect canvas for my foundation or whatever else! The green colour shocked me at first. It truly is green. Haha. But green concealers, etc. do neutralise reds, even if only to the eye rather than dealing with the cause of the problem. I didn't have any problem with smell that others have mentioned. I just thought it was a great product with great application that I will continue to use again and again!
I absolutely love it when thriftiness pays off!
Tips: A little goes a reeeeally long way! One squirt would've been enough. Haha.
I'm a fan of elf, such affordable prices and pretty good quality in reflection of those prices in my opinion. This primer.. (i have tried them all in the elf range) is my favourite of the bunch. It's a great primer if your on a budget not my fav but for the price you will only get one complaint from me.. THE DECEIVING PACKAGING!! HOLY HECK!! You think your getting a massive load of primer in that pot but boy oh boy are you wrong haha, the pot is no way near full. But like I said before, in reflection of the price it's still not to bad :) I would and have purchased again.
I love e.l.f as a brand, but this particular product really didn't blow me away. I found that it reacted really badly with my skin, and aside from that I found that once you actually blend it into the skin, the tone correcting greenness seems to disappear. It felt heavy on the skin and exaggerated pores. It did make the skin smooth but that isn't what I wanted it for. If you want a good tone correcting primer try the l'oreal one.
Tips: Works fine as a smoothing primer but for neutralizing redness not so great.
Aside from my MAC primer this is my FAVE!!!! Feels so silky smooth going on and smells so good. I feel like I don't ever want to put makeup on afterwards. I don't find the toning agent very good though, seems to be just as red afterwards however this may just be my skin
Tips: Make sure you have clean hands!
