I have never used a primer before. I know so many people say that we are meant to use a primer before foundation. I went and brought this primer to see what it is like. I loved it! It didn't fully hide my redness. It lasted a while, not all day. I would by this primer again.

Tips: Can buy from Kmart
This is one of the first primers i ever purchased, i wore it to my school ball and it glides on smoothly. it gives your skin this moisturizing feeling and feels almost like silicon, i definitely recommend this elf product
Tips: do not apply to much, a little goes a long way with this product
I was really impressed with this primer. My skin felt silky smooth and it definitely covered up my pores. This primer would have to be the best one that I have used at this stage! The only problem with it is that didn't last very long - only a month ... but was only $14 at K-Mart which is a bonus.
In terms of the actual product, I really liked this primer. The green tone was perfect for helping to hide of the unpleasant redness in my skin tone. The texture was really nice too. It went on really well and I loved the feel of it on my skin. I've bought this primer a couple of times. Once I did get what was possible a 'dud'. The product was a little clumpy, but only avery minimal amount. And I have gone back to this primer and had no worries. This downside of this product is the packaging. I found it to be very deceiving. Although I should have known by looking at the quantity on the packing, of course I didn't. I has really disappointed to see that most of the bottle is not filled with actual product, but was very crafty packaging of green plastic and thin air that made it look like the entire bottle was fill.
Tips: As long as you remember that what you think you see in the bottle is not in fact all usable primer, then this product is awesome! But I guess you get exactly what you pay for. I defiantly don't mind the price for the quality of the primer.
So this product is good but since using other products and seeing other results Id say this is average. Its great if you are on a budget and need something affordable but I felt that my makeup sat on top of the primer and even with a setting spray its still didn't set, I felt as if my makeup was moving and If I was to hug someone my makeup would fall of onto their shirt. The good side is that it does even out my skin tone and it does create a smooth surface. Also I expected more to be in the bottle due to the size but there was very little.
Tips: Clean fresh face before application
I've recently finished up a bottle of this primer. I'd been using it on and off for just under a year and even though there isn't a lot of product in this ( that is something that annoys me about elf products, yes they are cheap, but a lot of their items have such a tiny amount of Product! ), it lasted well because you only need a small amount.
I like the packaging, it's sleek with a nice pump applicator. If you turn it upside down, you can sort of estimate how much product is left. Of course, the packaging is much bigger compared to the little amount of product that's in it.
The actual primer is a bright green and looks sort of scary to put on your face. It does glide over your skin like silk though and once it's over your face, I couldn't see and difference that the green made. I get redness in my cheeks and on my nose and this didn't help disguise that. It does however, make my foundation smooth on better and it helps to fill in the pores a bit on my face. I'm not really sure if it helps make my makeup last longer and i don't really have fine lines to see how it goes on that.
Overall, I'd probably pick this up again. I do think as a normal primer it works well but if you want redness cover, than try something Else! I think iherb has this the cheapest but only if you buy a few things to justify the postage costs.
Like other reviewers, I found the primer did not cover my redness at all but it still makes a fine primer. I haven't tried any of the others in the range.
Personally I prefer my primer to be a bit thicker and feel more silicone-y but it's fine for the price & does make for smoother makeup application. I wouldn't go out your way to get one if there is no ELF in your area. For around same price point you could get the Maybelline Babyskin primer.
As my opinion goes I don't like this primer as it doesn't cover redness it also does not keep its name as a primer as it doesn't seem to stay applied to urn face for very long. As I apply to my face I would only have it on for about ten mom's when the primer starts to fade and not appear to be working as it has dried out.to me it's only good as a practice run or for someone who may only like a little touch of primer to there skin .not recommended at all
Tips: Only recommend as an extra as part of ur make up kit
To start off, this primer does do its job. It has a nice silky feel and applies extremely well. I definitely notice the difference if I put foundation on without it. However, I do have a bone to pick with the packaging of this product.
There is only 14g of actual product, and if I had known this, I probably would not have bought it. It is partially my fault for not actually checking but who normally does? The actual container holding the product is inside another clear container that screws off. And when you look at the green container holding the liquid, you will also find that the product only fills up half of it. I can see how online purchasers may fall for this also as they aren't able to properly see the packaging. For this reason, I will probably not be re-purchasing this product.
I have tried both the clear and the tone adjusting (green) one. Both give the skin a nice and silky matte finish and makes your foundation glide on very nicely. Not sure if they do MUCH for longevity. Don't really see a difference between the green and the clear one. The green tone adjusting one didn't do a thing for my redness. It is very affordable so I would definitely recommend if for those on a budget. I have however, noticed that it has made my pores larger so I would say that may clog pores so be weary of this.
Tips: Use fingertips, a little goes a long way.
