This primer makes my skin so smooth and soft, it makes applying my foundation a much more enjoyable experience! My skin isn't extremely red but i do have some days where my skin is reasonably red and it takes away some of my redness, i wouldn't say it is amazing in that department but it is very cheap and does the job!

Tips: A little goes a long way, one pump does my whole face!
My makeup haul just arrived from ELF and I am slowly working through all the products. The first on this morning was this - my first ELF product and my first EVER primer (after falling in love when I tried some of my friend's and reading all of these BR reviews).
It truly does make your skin feel AMAZING. I used it after my moisturiser as advised and it made me feel like I had a perfect canvas for my foundation or whatever else! The green colour shocked me at first. It truly is green. Haha. But green concealers, etc. do neutralise reds, even if only to the eye rather than dealing with the cause of the problem. I didn't have any problem with smell that others have mentioned. I just thought it was a great product with great application that I will continue to use again and again!
I absolutely love it when thriftiness pays off!
Tips: A little goes a reeeeally long way! One squirt would've been enough. Haha.
I really love this primer. Its pretty much the same as the Clear one by E.L.F but it tones down redness. Its silky and smooth, makes your makeup glide on so much easier. You only need one pump as a little goes a long way.
It comes out green, so down be alarmed it won't look like that on your face as it sinks into your skin and adjusts to your tone. Its in a pump bottle which is really good, and easy to get out.
Also, when you can't get anymore product out, you can unscrew the top and get any remaining primer out that way. It doesn't smell of anything, so no surprise, disgusting smell that will knock your socks off lol.
Tips: One pump is enough :-)
I purchased this off iherb as I wanted to try a new colour correcting primer. I'd read good reviews about it but wasn't sure I would like it as I'd never tried a mineral infused primer before.
One of the first things that struck me was the packaging. I love how it looks - it is so clean and sleek and the pump is awesome. The only issue with the packaging is that you can't tell how much product you have left.
This feels quite silicone-ish which doesn't bother me whatsoever but others may not like. This glides on my skin really easily and makes it feel silky and diminishes the redness in my face. Because the pump is easy to use, you're not going to waste any product. Beware though, you only need a small amount for your entire face - one pump is sufficient.
This does help my foundation set nicely and prolong it's use. My foundation doesn't slide around my face or move throughout the day.
This definitely helps conceal my redness and it feels slightly moisturising too.
I love this so much I bought 2 more of this when ELF recently had a sale. I won't be going back to previous colour correcting primers as I love how this works for me (and it's completely scent less, yay!).
I definitely recommend you give this a try.
Tips: Don't be afraid of the colour when it comes out of the pump - it literally looks like the colour of new peas but it blends into your skin clear :)
I was a tad skeptical when I first bought this, despite the rave reviews I have read. The colour is almost an avocado green and I had an image of it going on like a gloopy face mask.
The pump-style packaging is really good, allowing you to disperse just the right amount. The frosted cylinder lets you see just how much product you have left, so you know when to repurchase!
The formula is light and siliconey and goes on silky-smooth, easily absorbing into my skin. It really did help my foundation stay put all day and didn't give an oily effect that some other primers I have tried has. The formula itself reminded me a lot of Revlon's Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer which I LOVED. It also helped dull down some of the redness in my skin, so a win-win there!
I really like this primer and will definately be purchasing again, another win for ELF.
I brought this based on the reviews. I need a colour correcting base but all the ones I have tried have been too thick. I saw the colour and consistency of this and thought it looked awful. BUT..... It goes on smoothly and it's excellent - I just wear a BB cream over the top - perfect day look. I will repurchase this product.
Tips: Brought from iherb. Fast delivery!
Came across this here and after the reviews got some... AMAZING! Makes my skin feel great and make up goes on (and stays on) so well. Super stoked to have found this!
Tips: BUY IT!
I really wasn't sure that such an affordable primer would work, but it is awesome.
I have redness in my cheeks/nose area and as soon as I apply it I notice a difference in my skin tone. I try and let it settle into my skin for a few minutes before I start applying my foundation and then set with a powder.
It feels so silky smooth to apply, a little bit goes a long way and my foundation just sits on my skin so much nicer. I also find that it helps to disguise the scaring I have from break outs as it sort of fills in any imperfections.
This product reminds me of the Smashbox green primer and its a fraction of the price, definitely worth trying it.
Tips: Even if you don't normally set your foundation with powder I would recommend applying some in your T-Zone especially around the nose area as by the end of the day make up in this area can start to slip off due to the smooth silicone nature of this primer.
I brought this on iherb for $4. I didn't think it would be that great but thought I may as we'll buy it because it's so cheap.
I have redness around my nose and cheek area and enlarged pores on my cheeks. When I put this primer on I definitely noticed a difference to my skin tone. My redness was nicely covered. It was so soft and silky. It wasn't greasy or made my skin feel wet (which I have experienced with some other primers).
When I put my make up on it look really good and lasted all day. I didn't need to do any touch ups and my pores were definitely covered. It's fair to say that I am now a convert to elf products. It's definitely a great but. Great value for money.
Tips: Let it dry on your skin before applying make up and use the elf kabuki brush for a beautiful finish!
I absolutely love this primer, it works wonders and is sooo affordable! I feel naked if I don't use my primer first and I feel like it makes my make up last and look so much better!
Tips: Apply with brush to get even amount on skin :)
