I'm a fan of elf, such affordable prices and pretty good quality in reflection of those prices in my opinion. This primer.. (i have tried them all in the elf range) is my favourite of the bunch. It's a great primer if your on a budget not my fav but for the price you will only get one complaint from me.. THE DECEIVING PACKAGING!! HOLY HECK!! You think your getting a massive load of primer in that pot but boy oh boy are you wrong haha, the pot is no way near full. But like I said before, in reflection of the price it's still not to bad :) I would and have purchased again.

I LOVE this product!! It is honestly one of my favorite products and it works so well! I love the feeling it leaves my skin after I apply it and I love that it is so affordable to! Would definitely recommend as it makes my foundation look flawless
I liked this product but it was nothing ‘wow’. I too was deceived by the bottle - I thought it held a LOT more product than it actually does, so when the pump stopped working I assumed it was a problem with the pump when really there was only a little bit of product left. Luckily the bottle is easy to disassemble and I was able to get every last bit of product out, and a little does go a long way.
The product goes on smooth, and seemed to correct oiliness when first applied, but I’m not convinced that it kept oil at bay. And while this is a nice cheap primer which definitely helped prevent dry flakiness and overall prepped my skin for makeup, I didn’t feel it really counteracted redness. If you actually have rosacea or excessive redness, this product alone is not going to address it. But if you’re looking to try a primer for the first time, or are on a limited budget, this one’s a good one to pick up for everyday use.
In terms of the actual product, I really liked this primer. The green tone was perfect for helping to hide of the unpleasant redness in my skin tone. The texture was really nice too. It went on really well and I loved the feel of it on my skin. I've bought this primer a couple of times. Once I did get what was possible a 'dud'. The product was a little clumpy, but only avery minimal amount. And I have gone back to this primer and had no worries. This downside of this product is the packaging. I found it to be very deceiving. Although I should have known by looking at the quantity on the packing, of course I didn't. I has really disappointed to see that most of the bottle is not filled with actual product, but was very crafty packaging of green plastic and thin air that made it look like the entire bottle was fill.
Tips: As long as you remember that what you think you see in the bottle is not in fact all usable primer, then this product is awesome! But I guess you get exactly what you pay for. I defiantly don't mind the price for the quality of the primer.
I love love love this primer. It's my go to and my all time favourite. I think its my favourite elf product. I bought this product because it is a cheap and affordable primer, and I went for the tone adjusting green because my cheeks often get red. Boy was I surprised by this product! For something so cheap I didn't expect much really. It makes your skin so soft and silky smooth.
I use this primer after I've moisturised and before I apply my foundation. I have oily combination skin and quite large pores. Using this primer makes my foundation apply more smoothly and lasts longer throughout the day.
I love how this primer comes in a pump bottle, as it makes it easy to control how much product you need. I only need a tiny amount, just smaller than a pea size, for my whole face. The primer is very light and silky and absorbs into your skin quickly. The colour of this primer is a vibrant green, but it dissolves into your skin quickly. I didn't find the green tone that effective at reducing redness, but it is a very good primer.
This is a product that I will definitely repurchase!
I purchased this primer as I wanted to counteract the redness of my acne which often shows through my make up. The primer came packaged beautifully for an e.l.f product in a black box. The primer itself is in a classy silver pump bottle with a frosted finish. I thought the packaging looked lovely for such a cheap product, but the packaging did feel quite cheap and gimmicky. I liked the pump bottle as I felt it ensured the right amount was dispensed and that I didn't waste any of this. I was surprised to the see the primer come out such a vivid green; it just didn't seem to be the right kind of green to counteract redness. I found a little of this went a long way, so at least it was economical. I found this did nothing at all to counteract the redness of my acne so it did not deliver on that part. However, I found this to be a fantastic primer. This is silicon based and it helped make my foundation glide on really well, and this has to be one of my favourite silicone based primers I have tried. Whenever I used this primer I noticed that my make-up lasted a lot longer. Overall, I'd use this again just as a general primer also because it's quite affordable. I would not get your hopes up for any redness reducing.
I adore the elf range of primers. They have become an absolute necessity in my daily beauty regime and I wouldn't be without them.
In saying that, this particular green primer is probably my least favourite in the range. Yes, it is a superb primer, leaving my skin feeling incredibly smooth and providing a wonderful base for my makeup, but I just don't seem to be able to see any benefit from the green anti-redness toner.
I unfortunately suffer from quite a bit of redness in my complexion and the idea of a green toner to help with this is really appealing, but having tried this particular green product for a couple of months now, I've never seen any difference in my skin tone between my bare skin and my primed skin. Which is a real pity as I'd like to see some benefit, especially given that the primer looks somewhat swamp-like with it's algae green colouring.
Tips: I wouldn't bother going for this if you're looking for a green toner, but if you're after a great primer, then give this a try or go for it's more visually appealing clear cousin.
I have tried both the clear and the tone adjusting (green) one. Both give the skin a nice and silky matte finish and makes your foundation glide on very nicely. Not sure if they do MUCH for longevity. Don't really see a difference between the green and the clear one. The green tone adjusting one didn't do a thing for my redness. It is very affordable so I would definitely recommend if for those on a budget. I have however, noticed that it has made my pores larger so I would say that may clog pores so be weary of this.
Tips: Use fingertips, a little goes a long way.
I've recently finished up a bottle of this primer. I'd been using it on and off for just under a year and even though there isn't a lot of product in this ( that is something that annoys me about elf products, yes they are cheap, but a lot of their items have such a tiny amount of Product! ), it lasted well because you only need a small amount.
I like the packaging, it's sleek with a nice pump applicator. If you turn it upside down, you can sort of estimate how much product is left. Of course, the packaging is much bigger compared to the little amount of product that's in it.
The actual primer is a bright green and looks sort of scary to put on your face. It does glide over your skin like silk though and once it's over your face, I couldn't see and difference that the green made. I get redness in my cheeks and on my nose and this didn't help disguise that. It does however, make my foundation smooth on better and it helps to fill in the pores a bit on my face. I'm not really sure if it helps make my makeup last longer and i don't really have fine lines to see how it goes on that.
Overall, I'd probably pick this up again. I do think as a normal primer it works well but if you want redness cover, than try something Else! I think iherb has this the cheapest but only if you buy a few things to justify the postage costs.
I like e.l.f primers. They're the first primers I ever brought, and I got them off of iHerb which opened up a can of worms on it's own ;-). After using the normal mineral infused one, I decided to try the green one, as I have a bit of redness in my cheeks which drives me crazy and often isn't covered by foundation.
The color of the actual product is gorgeous, it reminds me of lush forests. It feels very silicone like, but it's not a bad feeling? I rub it all over my face and my face becomes so super smooth. I like to touch it a lot after haha! It holds my make up all day, except for parts like around my nose, but I don't expect miracles!
Upon application of this silky product I don't really notice that it covers the red. I apply it over top of moisturizer and let it sit for a few minutes before I apply any foundation or BB cream. Once the brown goo has been applied though, I do see less of the red coming through, so I suppose it works a little. I just wish it was instant action rather than covering it up! But never mind.
You really don't need more than a pump of this stuff. I put the little pea sized (and colored!) ball on my middle finger and rub it with my other hand, and away I go. One pump is more than enough to cover your whole face! So while I have something else that I use now, I would definitely repurchase this primer. For the price it works better than expected!
