This is a great affordable price, but I have never really had a successful application with it. The blush is not too bad- I am more of a winter skintone and this does work for me but is probably one I will use more in the cooler months than in summertime. The contour side however has quite a bit of glitter, which from my understanding is not really what you want in a contour product? Will keep playing around with this product however as it seems to be a favourite budget product for many.

Tips: Use a gentle hand and build up, this is quite highly pigmented
Firstly, the bronzing shade in this compact does have quite a shimmer to it but on the right skin tone it looks beautiful giving off a lovely glow for day and also having the ability to build it up to a nice contour for an evening look. The contour is highly pigmented and quite smooth not needing Muhammad to build up your desired look. The blush however takes more convincing it's not as highly pigmented and gives off more of a shimmer as well but this does go nicely with the bronzer and is a very complimentary shade on most skin tones. The price is about $10 however I bought it in the states for $3 about two years ago and I still have not hit pan. There was a point were I used it practically every day for about 10 months and still pan was not seen anywhere! There is a lot of product in this. The colours have been said to be a dupe for one of the Nars duo compacts as well. Overall this product is amazing for the price and is definitely worth your 10 dollars.
Tips: For the contour tap off the excess on your brush and with a very light hand apply very little amounts each time to build up to your desired look start at the hairline so you don't see such a harsh line and blend out with small circular motions. Blush will need convincing but still apply small amounts and blend upward for a natural finish.
I definitely wouldn't use this to contour but i like it to bronze and add colour to my face. I'm never really too keen on shimmery bronzers but this one is pretty good. I like the packaging because it has a nice big mirror and seems really good quality for the price. I like the colour of the blush too, it's similar to Torrid by Nars. I really like using this duo in the summer as it has shimmer in it and gives me a nice glow.
I use this product most days. I wouldn't recommend trying to contour with the bronzer, however I do find I use the bronzer more then the blush as the blush doesn't do much for me personally. For the price you can't really complain & is great for a little extra in the makeup kit!
Tips: When it comes to the bronzer remember less is more, always start with a small amount & build up as you need
I didn't really like this product, I have always had my holy grail blush and bronzer products (both Nars) but decided to have a cheaper option on hand to wear to uni etc, but upon trying this e.l.f one based upon positive reviews I didn't think much of it. The blush was so minimal that it almost seemed like it did nothing, just a few specks of shine to the cheek, and the bronzer shades were quite overpowering. I would always start with a little and work it up but it was very simple to slightly overdo to with one sweep of the brush and I think that is just from it being quite a thick powder.
I bought this after reading all the positive reviews here on Beauty Review and I do have some mixed thoughts on it.
It comes in a nice compact with two shades and a mirror. The compact stays securely closed which is useful for if you are travelling with it in your bag. The mirror is a nice size but I prefer to use my bathroom mirror.
The shades are a coral-ish blush, and a brown contour.
The blush is very sheer and takes quite a bit of work to build up on your skin. It does have a shimmer in it, but this is very sparse so not too noticeable unless you're looking at it quite closely. I do like that the colour is somewhat sheer, but I'd prefer it to be slightly less sheer so that it doesn't take quite so much work to get it to show on my face. In saying that, I also only want a light flush of colour so it works well anyway.
The brown contour... well, I don't know that i'll be using that again! I only put a very small amount on my brush but as soon as it touched my face it was this big dark brown streak! Not a good look when you're running late in the morning. I tried blending it in but it made it worse and sort of spread it out a bit. I eventually managed to wipe most of it off without disturbing my foundation but it was still quite alarming.
Overall, if you're looking for a nice sheer and natural blush this would definitely be worth a try. But if you're looking for something to contour with I'd give it a miss and try something else instead.
Tips: If you're trying the brown contour, use only a tiny amount of powder, and practice with it when you have plenty of time in case of mistakes.
Nice simple compact, crap product! I brought this with high hopes as I had heard it was a good dupe for nars. It wasn't ! I found the powder chunky and hard to use. The brown shade was glittery and too pigmented, with the smallest amount on my brush it was still too much and hard to blend. Did not work for me and I was so disappointed I haven't wanted to give to anymore chances.
Tips: Use with a very light hand!
I like the design of this product - it's nice and compact and the packaging is simple following most of their studio line.
The description says the bronzer is perfect for contouring but I really really do not agree. If you like your contour to be shimmery and hard to blend out then go for it. The colour is too warm for me to use as a contour but that's personal preference. What I have a major problem with is the amount of glitter that's in the bronzer. The product comes off chunky on my contouring brush and no matter what I can't blend it out nicely - it just looks like a harsh line of mud smeared on my cheeks.
The blush colour is beautiful though. I'm not one to like a shimmery blush but I make an exception with this one because the colour is so nice. My duo is in the shade St. Lucia and the colour is really nice and natural and glowy. I do however have to use it with a light hand because, like I said, it's so hard to blend.
Overall I probably won't repurchase this item because I'd just be getting it for the blush and any of their other blushes work just as well for me.
I love the blush in the St lucia duo. The bronzer can be quite muddy and dirty looking, you need to blend blend blend. It also doesn't last very long on my cheeks and i dont use it anymore.
Tips: Blend like crazy!!
I use this product everyday. I have St Lucia and it is amazing. You can build it up or keep it simple. I love the simmer that it has and find that the colours work with every look. This product is perfect for my skin tone and it is super easy to apply, it blends out easily. I just use an e.l.f blush brush and it does a great job.
