I was pleasantly surprised with this, I thought it was going to be way to dark for me. When I first applied the bronzer I thought, oh no complete disaster! But once I blended it out, I ended up with a beautiful glow. The blush really compliments the bronzer.
Both the blush and bronzer are nice and pigmented. They go onto your face smoothly.
Give it a go, it's only $3 and if it doesn't work for you it doesn't really matter.
I purchased the elf contouring duo in st Lucia. I read a lot of bad reviews for it but I decided to try it as its super cheap. Starting with the packaging, I think its sturdy and looks nice. The mirror is nice and clear and the hinge keeps it upright while in use. I hate flimsy lids so yay. The blush side is a light pink with a slight gold shimmer. Reminds me of a muted version of hot mama by the balm. The blush isn't very pigmented compared to the elf single blushes, I actually use tickled pink under this to give it more pop. The bronzer on the other hand is super pigmented. Its a chocolate brown with shimmer. Its not glittery just a shimmer. This gives a beautiful j-lo type glow but needs the lightest hand and lots of blending. I usually prefer matte contouring shades but this surprised me as I'm using this over my Bahama mama right now. Only downside is that it does fade and needs midday reapplying.
Tips: Set your foundation with powder before using this otherwise it will grip your base, be impossible to blend and also look muddy.
