I love the packaging of this product, it comes in a big black rubber compact with a very large mirror. I hate compacts with teeny tiny mirrors! The blush is a nice pink with a small amount of glitter but not too much, the bronzer I found to be a bit dark for my pale skin tone in winter but in summer I think it would be great. The blush is lovely and not too pigmented so you don't get clown face.

Tips: Have a light touch with the bronzer, it's quite pigmented!
I was itching to try this product out after seeing that it was a dupe for the NARS Orgasm blush and Laguna bronzer - but for a fraction of the price.
This product is highly pigmented so a little bit does go a long way. I like to use the bronzer side for contouring as I find it is a bit too dark for bronzer (for my skin tone anyway). I use a small angle brush and a VERY light hand and I find this works really well. It blends out nicely and isn't too orange. Make sure you start off with a little bit of product as it is highly pigmented - you can always add more, but taking it off is another problem!
I like the blush colour, but not so much for during the day. I like to use it at night as it does have a bit of sparkle in it and I feel I can get away with this more so at night time than during the day. Again with the blush I use a really light hand and build up the colour gradually.
The packaging is nice and sleek with a large mirror inside. It isn't bulky so doesn't take up much room when storing it.
Overall, this product is great especially when you look at the price.
Tips: Use a light hand and build up the colour gradually :)
I like E.l.f products and for the price you can't go wrong with wanting to try their products without breaking the bank. I had purchased this online just to fill up my shopping basket, with something inexpensive not knowing that this would be one of my favourite finds of 2014, I brought St. Lucia which is a light brown and a dark brown, both are shimmery pigments.
When I first used this I couldn't believe how pigmented the colors were, you only need the smallest amount, your brush just touching the pigments is enough to add shape to your face. It's a lot easier to apply a small amount at a time, and blend it as you go.
I noticed that if you apply too much it makes it difficult to blend out and if that happens I normally have to remove it all and start again. The formula of these are so pigmented and creamy, they are insane! Wear time is fantastic too they last all day from morning to night without moving.
I highly recommend these to everyone, even if your used to using high end products everyone needs to try this duo it will completely blow your mind!
Tips: Apply a small amount at a time and blend as you go, if you apply too much it's hard to blend. I apply the lighter shade to my cheek bones and the darker shade to the sides of my face, the sides of my face and under my chin
I bought this after reading all the positive reviews here on Beauty Review and I do have some mixed thoughts on it.
It comes in a nice compact with two shades and a mirror. The compact stays securely closed which is useful for if you are travelling with it in your bag. The mirror is a nice size but I prefer to use my bathroom mirror.
The shades are a coral-ish blush, and a brown contour.
The blush is very sheer and takes quite a bit of work to build up on your skin. It does have a shimmer in it, but this is very sparse so not too noticeable unless you're looking at it quite closely. I do like that the colour is somewhat sheer, but I'd prefer it to be slightly less sheer so that it doesn't take quite so much work to get it to show on my face. In saying that, I also only want a light flush of colour so it works well anyway.
The brown contour... well, I don't know that i'll be using that again! I only put a very small amount on my brush but as soon as it touched my face it was this big dark brown streak! Not a good look when you're running late in the morning. I tried blending it in but it made it worse and sort of spread it out a bit. I eventually managed to wipe most of it off without disturbing my foundation but it was still quite alarming.
Overall, if you're looking for a nice sheer and natural blush this would definitely be worth a try. But if you're looking for something to contour with I'd give it a miss and try something else instead.
Tips: If you're trying the brown contour, use only a tiny amount of powder, and practice with it when you have plenty of time in case of mistakes.
I have this in the shade St Lucia and I brought it off iHerb for about $3 USD so I was lucky to pick it up cheap, but even if i didnt I think I would still be reasonably happy with this product.
By now I think everyone knows the E.L.F packaging, Sturdy Black case with the white writing and a small sticker on the back with the shade. Not alot of ready but thats okay, I love how you pay for the product with this brand.
Product is great, I really like the blush, it is highly pigmented and even has shimmer in it for those days you want a bit of sparkle. I have to admit i have not used the bronzer alot as it is a bit cakey for my liking, and can be quite difficult to blend, fine if you want to use a very light cover but I would use it for contour and it does not really work. But again is highly pigmented aswell.
Over all it is a very well priced product, it is a bit hard to blend as the colours are so highly pigmented which is great. I think for someone to start off with this would be perfect. I probably would buy again just because i love the blush so much and I would recommend for others to buy happily.
Perfect size with both in the one compact for traveling (maybe put a cotton pad in it just incase it gets crushed!) Great mirror that covers they inside lid. Very standard wise with the actual pallet but it does the job for the price and you can do many looks ( again especially when traveling i used the countour as a bronzer for a begining of my holiday as i was so pale!)
Tips: Purchus from iherb!
I love this combo. Not messy and applies nicely. Blends very well. Would purchase again! Highly recommend
I purchased my due kit in the shade "Turks and Caicos", which offers two shimmery shades, one a bronzer and the other a blush. The bronzer is full of gold reflects which add a dimension to makeup, but the bronzer can be muddy if used to liberally and not blended well. The bronzer can also be quite orange if too much is used on the face, but it luckily suits my skin tone as I am a lot darker toned, this therefore would probably not suit some one with lighter skin, unless blended well with little product used. The blush is also full of shimmer with gold reflects and it is a rosy dark pinky colour which adds a nice flush to my cheeks, this I think would suit most people, but again use lightly. They are both well pigmented for the price, but are not long lasting and will wear off through out the day. But overall for the price this kit is a nice cheap alternative for some of the pricier brands.
Tips: Use with a light hand and gradually build up, as it is easier to add more than take off. Also blend well to avoid a muddy effect.
I have only recently started contouring and this is pretty much my only bronzer so I don't have much to compare it too but I do like the effect it gives. It is quite pigmented so I only need a small amount otherwise it looks a bit much!
The blusher doesn't seem to be very dark, I can put quite a bit on the brush and it comes off very light. It's easy to build up though. It is a pretty colour, a natural kind of pink.
For the price, I think it's a great buy especially for beginners like me. I've heard this is a dupe for the nars blush/bronzer duo but as I've never tried them, I'm not sure on that one. You can always practice with this and move on to more expensive products later on.
Tips: I got mine from iherb, (I have amassed quite a decent elf collection from there now!)
I love the bronzer BUT not so much the other side. Which is the same with a few double elf products I own. But when theyre only $3 on iherb you cant go wrong, this is a must in my beauty box. The packaging is durable, the bronze is great, not to shiny/sparkly.
