e.l.f Brow Kit Review

The elf brow kit would have to be my daily go to at the moment. I love the combination of the wax and the setting powder and think they make a fantastic combo. Define your brows using the wax to get the desired shape, fill in and set with the powder. So simple! The only letdown is the brush. I use a different makeup brush from my brush set as the bristles of the brush included are quite flimsy and it can be difficult to get the shape you want.

I've been wanting this product for ages as I had never tried a brow gel or powder, I had always stuck to pencils.

I've seen quite a few gurus on YouTube using this product before and they always make it look so easy. Kinda foolproof. This wasn't exactly the case for me.

The beauty gurus who use this always have nice, thin eyebrows that they darken to look fuller and more perfected, whereas I have light eyebrows, but they're very thick.

I will continue to use this product as it is amazing quality for such a cheap price, but I don't think I'll really enjoy it until I get my eyebrows thinned out a little.

I got this e.l.f Brow Kit when I lost my ABH Brow Wiz and was in desperate need of something cheap and locally accessible. In that regard it did the job, however, if natural is what your going for I daresay this isn't the product for you as the tinted was tends to lean on the darker side and creates a more 'boxy' brow if precautions aren't taken. That all being said if a very light hand is used this really can't be beaten on price or quality.

I am a little late with hopping on to the brow wagon being that I was born with a crazy bushy monobrow (how on trend would I have been if I was only born a decade later?!) However I decided to add this to an iherb haul as at $3US it wasn't really too much of a loss if I didn't like it. I was quite surprised at how well this fills in the small irregularities in my brow shape, as well as sticking them down and keeping them from getting too unruly. I rarely use the powder side, bar the occasional big event but perhaps that is down to my inexperience and/or using the incorrect brush for the job. Speaking of brushes, the little angled side of the brush included does a reasonable job with the wax side of the product, however I feel that the other side of the brush does not give me a precise application when using the powder.

I like the elf brow kit. It is affordable and does the trick for $10. I love the coloured wax that holds your eyebrows in place all day. For $10 i really think this product is amazing! The only thing i didnt use was the brush as i use my own but its fab loveee the elf brow kit!

I purchased this kit in medium. Considering the price it definitely does what it is supposed to do, however after all the rave about this product I thought it was alright. I only ever used the waxy side because the powder was too light for my brows (I have dark brown/black hairs). It definitely glides on easy and mistakes are easily corrected, however I did find that the staying power was not very good as it slides around very easily throughout the day. As I hit pan I realised the product was not as effective as when first purchased. It had almost gone too waxy so make sure you wash your brush regularly as the product catches what is on your brush. I used this prior to purchasing the Anastasia Beverly Hills dip brow pomade so that is the reason I no longer use this product. I would recommend if you have not used products of this consistency and want to try it out as it is so affordable. The packaging is very small and sturdy so great for travelling.

I used this product when I first started filling in my brows, it was great to use to learn the technique.monce I mastered it I was all about my brows and I was finding the product didn't last very long on my skin, I would have to touch up a lot and I ended up moving on to anastasia Beverly hills dipbrow. I still love elf brow kit and reccommend it to people who are beginners with their brows as it was very helpful for me in that aspect

This brow kit is really good when you're short on money. The only problem with it, was that i found it hard to find the right colour match. I really do love ELF products because they don't cost much money but they work. It came on my eyebrows a little bit to heavy but for the price i paid, i was satisfied.

Such a cheap option that works great as well!! The wax is long lasting and has a smooth finish. Only thing is I found the powder useless as it was a very different lighter shade to the wax. Other than this its a great product especially for the price!

This was a snazzy little kit that helped me to start my brow journey. I remember getting excited just opening it every time I did my brows; I felt like a MUA except no MUA would have made the mess that I did on my brows haha.

It's a sturdy black plastic compact with a wax and powder that comes with quite a horrendous applicator. There is an angled edge for the wax to help define and outline your brows and on the other end there is a dense brush tip for the powder to help set the wax. If you're like me who is a tad too lazy to reach for the angled brush you'll somehow make it work.

I used to buy the shade Medium and even though it was a tad too light for my brows; the shade Dark would have looked very unnatural. I loved the wax and the angled edge of the brush could easily pick up the product; you just had to be quite aware of how much you picked up because it's not the best brush to sheer out your brows.

I was not a fan of the powder. I found it too light for me and with little makeup application skills I always seemed to go outside of the defined area. If I really wanted to set the wax I just used a brown eyeshadow and a spoolie to soften the look.

The kit lasted me a good couple of months and I believe I went through 3 compacts before moving onto eye pencils and eyeshadows for my eyebrows.
