I purchased this product out of pure curiosity, expecting a 50/50 outcome - turns out I like this much better than expected. ELF products can be pretty hit or miss but the Studio line is generally pretty good, this was no exception. I got this in dark/ivory and actually forgot about it for a while, when I remembered I had it, I had lightened my hair so the brow filler is a bit dark but I can make it work. It's a stiff pencil, exactly what I like for the brows. It's smooth and has good pigmentation, the pencil itself could have been a lot smaller thought as I find this difficult to fill in the tail of my brow due to the tips thickness. The lifter side is my favourite and I use it much more than the filler side. It's a gorgeous yellow toned cream and it glides on effortlessly, absolutely no tugging on the skin which is a must when you're working around the eye area. I love to use this under the brow - as intended and also in my waterline to give that 'wide awake' effect. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this product and it is well worth the $3 USD.

e.l.fEyebrow Lifter & Filler Review
Create polished and defined brows for a flawless fuller look! The 'lift' pencil's sheer light-reflecting pigments act as an arch support under the brows to enhance and outline the shape for a more youthful and awakened look. While the 'fill' pencil shades in the eyebrow to blend in the natural shape, fill in any sparse areas and define the lines.

This is my go to, eyebrow pencil. I use the shade light. My eyebrows are darkish brown with no red in them. This pencil fills them in nicely without being too dark and doesn't have any red tones in it.
This product is a double ended pencil, one side has the eyebrow colour and the other side is called a 'lifter' and is a concealor type colour. to be honest, I'm not totally sure of the point of this side. To me it would make better sense to be a white colour so it could be used to highlight under the brows but it is the same colour as my skin pretty much so really has no effect one me and I can't imagine it being that great for darker skin either.
I love, love, love how the cap for the eyebrow side has a built in sharpener. It is so handy to have it right there so I don't have to rummage through all my beauty items. I also probably wouldn't use it so much if I had to look for a sharpener all the time too!
The product itself is a creamy texture but not so creamy that it smudges everywhere. It blends into my eyebrows really nicely and as long as I use a light hand, it looks really natural. I don't set them with anything and my brows will last me all day.
I love this product, although I'm not sold on the ivory end, I will still buy this after I use up the eyebrow side and would definitely recommend it. I definitely prefer this to the wax and powder set by elf.
Tips: Use a light hand, the colour payoff is really good. Too heavy and my brows look to dark and unnatural.
I brought this "must have" make up tool when I was informed my eyebrows were not good enough. I like my eyebrows I keep them shaped, but no the trend-sayers tell me my eyebrows must be thick too. I have to say I have never come across anything so HORRIBLE in my entire life. Eyebrows yes they are important to upkeep but must I really put Crayon on my face?
The texture of this product felt like Crayon, it was sticky and disgusting. After wearing it for 6 hours I had to take it off. It was sticky, and it took me 10 minutes to get it off.
While the texture is the reason I won't be using this product again, there were some really nice pros to the product; The filler was amazing, and I have to say my eyebrows looked better for it (and they didn't necessarily come off as thicker either.) The Lifter was great, it really made me look more awake than I have in years. I was happy before I even tried the product that it came with it's very own sharpener. The price was great!
However I will not be using this product again and am on a search to finding a different eyebrow lifter and filler.
I recently did my first order from iHerb, and I stocked up on E.L.F - The Eyebrow Lifter & Filler was one of the items I purchased, and I'm pretty impressed.
The lifter is the best little product ever, I apply this under my brow on the arch to enhance and outline the shape of my brows. I either use a concealer brush or my fingertip to blend this in. The fill is to shade in the eyebrow, however I'm not the biggest fan of pencils used to fill as I feel the look ends up being very "un-natural" and prefer to use a powder or gel. I have learn't to use this to give my brows a slight touch up after applying power, though the pencil is very thick and makes this a little harder to use.
Overall I will probably re-purchase, unless I find a product that has just the lifter.
Tips: Don't apply "Fill" with a heavy hand as the pencil is very thick which can cause it to be very harsh.
I bought this from iherb a while ago in the shade Ivory/Light for USD$3. I originally bought this in Medium as that is what I usually get in eyebrow products. However that was too dark so I picked this one up. So make sure to check online swatches before purchasing.
The packaging is great with it being a double ended pencil. One of the lids has a pencil sharpener in it though which is great as the pencil is an unusual width. Looks a lot more expensive than it is.
The product for colouring your brows is fantastic. It has great pigmentation and glides onto your brows well. I find it only takes one swipe of product and a lot of brushing to get the extra product out to make it look more natural. The product itself is also good at keeping your brows in place as it seems somewhat waxy (not in a crunchy way). Unfortunately for me the light colour is still a wee bit dark for me, and also has a more orangey brown tint whereas I prefer a greyer tint.
Unfortunately the lifter side wasn't nearly as good. It is an extremely pink/peachey shade which I don't feel is great for highlighting under the brow as it looks very fake against my pale skintone. I used this also in the inner corner of my eye as a highlighter and it just looked dirty.
Overall if you can get a colour that suits you I would recommend getting this as for the price it is fantastic. But I won't be repurchasing this myself.
Honestly this is one of the products I regret buying, did not like it at all and I like never ever use it, I tried many different ways to apply, and blend but it just never really gave me the look I was after, looked too cakey and didn't sit well around the pores... Would not repurchase
I purchased the medium one, the pencil was more red than brown and the lifter was darker than my skin tone so the whole thing was wrong. But maybe the lighter shade will work better but I'm not too interested in finding out.
Hmm im not a huge fan of the brow pencil but the highlighter works well. I feel as though it go's on super thick and cakes on, no matter what i do, I use a brush to blend it in and it clearly looks very unnatural. The highlighter side does the same but works well once blended with your finger or brush so I do use that side. I paid $3 on iherb so was cheap enough to buy it just to try it out. Its a large pencil as well so there is a lot of product.
I won't complain too much as I purchased for dirt cheap of iherb but wouldn't bother with repurchasing again.
It's a good sized fat pencil that is very easy to apply, my problem with it is that it is too soft and creamy and doesn't last on my skin all that well.
It's easy to apply as it's so soft but that also means the pencil needs to be resharpened after every second use, it's not going to last all that long! The highlight part of the pencil seems to be the worst as it's very hard to blend in and have it look natural.
The one good point is the colour, I have the dark brown which suits my skin really well, just doesn't last and smudges off in no time flat.
All in all this is something I could easily see myself throwing away, but as I'm so cheap, and like to try everything before giving up on a product I switched to using this as an eyeliner, still a fail.
I love the lifter and filler pencil! I find that the filler goes on quite thick but is perfect with a light hand. The lifter part of the pencil is my favorite part - I line underneath my filled eyebrows and blend out - it makes my eyebrows look "finished and polished"
Tips: Use a light hand when applying filler end. Be sure to blend out the lifter end :)
