I had read that this primer was a good alternative to Urban Decay eye primers, and at such an affordable price on iHerb I saw no reason not to try it.
I have huge trouble with my shadow slipping into my creases, which is awful as I love creating eye shadow masterpieces! I've tried loads of other more expensive eye primers and have been getting a bit fatigued with them not working but costing a lot!
This primer comes in a handy little tube, I like the small size as it fits easily into my little makeup bag. The applicator is like a lip gloss applicator, and easily dots product onto the eyelid and below the eye.
I have a light shade which gives an even base to hold pigment and show its true colour.
Typically I would smooth out onto clean skin using my fingers, then apply shadow. Initially I thought the product was a miracle, as after several hours my shadow was still in place (it normally moves within half an hour). I have found though that if I get warmer, the shadow does still tend to move unfortunately.
Next I'll try varying more or less product, and applying my shadow while the primer is still damp. I'll also experiment with different application brushes to smooth out the product.
I would recommend this primer, it's the best I've tried so far even though it's not perfect for me, I think I'm an extreme case and it would be great for most people at a very very good price. Worth a try!
For such a cheap product, it goes such a long way! I have found that it helps my eyeshadow to not crease, and it also makes the colours last a lot longer. Can't go wrong for the price really, a really handy thing to have in the make-up collection as a base for your eyeshadow.
