I have to admit I was apprehensive about what this product would actually deliver but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My make up routine has been made even easier. No more faux pas with my shadow or liner. Just no fuss shadow perfection.

Tips: Always always use this product. Its a must for your eye shadow art.
I loved this primer, I used the shade sheer, I apply it under my concealer under my eyes and under my eyeshadow. I feel like it helps my concealer not crease and last through the day. I definitely think it helped my shadow last and look better.
Tips: I just applied it with my fingers.
I'd gotten this via iHerb - it was very reasonably priced at $3 US. I've never used an eyelid primer before and I thought this would be a good, inexpensive way to see if it was something I'd need.
It comes in a tube with a sponge applicator, which makes it quite handy - no separate brush required.
I found it went on a bit thicker than what I was expecting - I thought it would be almost transparent, but it goes on a bit pink. It doesn't show through or dull the color of the eye shadow at all - it acts really well as a base.
After using it a few times I discovered that I actually like the pink shade of the base, and I've worn it on my lids without applying eye shadow on top - it looks quite pretty and matte.
I'd say that this is a great product, and if you're thinking of trying an eyelid primer this is a pretty good one to start with.
I got this from iHerb, which makes it much more affordable than KMart (given you're getting a few things to make it worth the shipping!) and I really enjoy it - I find that it's nice and thin in consistency and so applies evenly, and really ensures that my eyeshadow (even cream shadows!) doesn't crease. The packaging is nice and simple and has a doe foot applicator.
Tips: A little of this product goes a long way!
This primer I think does not really work for me. My skin can sometimes be dry and can sometimes be a but oily. If I use this on my eyelids it really feels like I'm putting a bit of light cream on my eye. I found that my shadows still crease and after a few hours literally looks like there's no primer at all. This is a nice cheap product to try but I would properly recommend something a bit better quality or the nyx jumbo eye pencil- they are cheap and really good bases.
For such a small amount of money this primer does such a good job! A little goes a long way and as soon as it's on my eye lids feel smooth straight away. I've been using for a couple of weeks now every time before applying eye makeup and it lasts so much longer then what it used to. Packaging is pretty plain but ya let that slip when the price is so good. Also has a pleasant smell. I'll carry on using this.
Tips: Apply to freshly cleaned skin
For such a cheap product, it goes such a long way! I have found that it helps my eyeshadow to not crease, and it also makes the colours last a lot longer. Can't go wrong for the price really, a really handy thing to have in the make-up collection as a base for your eyeshadow.
I had read that this primer was a good alternative to Urban Decay eye primers, and at such an affordable price on iHerb I saw no reason not to try it.
I have huge trouble with my shadow slipping into my creases, which is awful as I love creating eye shadow masterpieces! I've tried loads of other more expensive eye primers and have been getting a bit fatigued with them not working but costing a lot!
This primer comes in a handy little tube, I like the small size as it fits easily into my little makeup bag. The applicator is like a lip gloss applicator, and easily dots product onto the eyelid and below the eye.
I have a light shade which gives an even base to hold pigment and show its true colour.
Typically I would smooth out onto clean skin using my fingers, then apply shadow. Initially I thought the product was a miracle, as after several hours my shadow was still in place (it normally moves within half an hour). I have found though that if I get warmer, the shadow does still tend to move unfortunately.
Next I'll try varying more or less product, and applying my shadow while the primer is still damp. I'll also experiment with different application brushes to smooth out the product.
I would recommend this primer, it's the best I've tried so far even though it's not perfect for me, I think I'm an extreme case and it would be great for most people at a very very good price. Worth a try!
Tips: Apply with a clean brush to avoid introducing additional oils to your lid from fingertips.
I bought this as I know e.l.f is a reliable brand from what I have recently tried and the price is just too good to refuse! I have this in a pearly shade and it really does prolong the wear of my eyeshadow!
I have super super oily eyelids and have always had issues with my eyeshadow lasting all day or even on a night out. I tried multiple primers and eyeshadow bases and this one has been the most successful and I'm so happy it is! The formula is really easy to apply and work with, recommend it to anyone!
I bought this from Iherb for around $1. I had never used one before so thought I may aswell give it a go. I was pretty impressed. I dabbed a little on my eyelids and then blended it out.It didn't cake which was great. I waited a minute before applying my eyeshadow and it seemed to help keep my eyeshadow stay vibrant and non creasing throughout the day. Would definitely recommend it to lady's with oily eyelids, especially for the price!
Tips: you may as well try it, for the price what have you got to lose!
