For such a cheap product, it goes such a long way! I have found that it helps my eyeshadow to not crease, and it also makes the colours last a lot longer. Can't go wrong for the price really, a really handy thing to have in the make-up collection as a base for your eyeshadow.

I am a huge fan of eye primers and this is one of my faves. I love the way it holds onto the eyeshadow but still allows for easy breasy blending. It also prevents the eyeshadow from creasing and gathering in the eye creases.
Tips: Use sparingly and make sure the product is dry before applying eye shadow so you can apply the colour evenly without it sticking to wet primer.
This product is another one from the ELF range that I purchased from I herb. It’s only about $3 USD, so I had nothing to lose.
The primer comes in a cylinder plastic tube and it about the length of a pencil, and the width of your finger. The lid of this product is black and pulls out to reveal a wand attached to it, which is used for application. Prior to this product, I had never used an eyelid primer so can’t compare the application or design to anything else I’ve used but I personally found this product easy to use and apply. Although I question how much wastage there would be with this sort of design. Plus the packaging does make this product feel cheap (which it is so I guess that’s fair enough).
I actually got my primer in the wrong colour. I simply chose the first on I saw, and had no idea that they come in other varieties as well. The colour I choose was a nude, skin colour one. Only problem is, my skin colour is a bit .. no a lot darker than that. This primer has quite a thin consistency, but it seems this consistency is perfect for the delicate eye area, and dries quite quickly after application.
I found the eye primers worked really well. Not only did it reduce the fall out of my eye shadows, it also made my eye shadows last longer. Additionally, with some eye shadows (but not all), it also made the eye shadows look more pigmented, and just gave them that extra pop.
I have to admit, for $3 I’m really impressed with this eye primer. It does a great job of keeping eye shadows looking great for longer, and adding the special pop of pigmentation. I would recommend everyone try this, and get it off I herb because it’s cheap as chips. I would buy this again, but in a different shade.
This is a good product that reduces creasing and increases the life of your eye make up. Good to use everyday for simple make up. I have the primers in every colour so that I can match to my eye shadow of the day. I usually put this on before I do my foundation etc so that it has time to dry. This makes it easier to put your eye shadow on and have it stay in place instead of the primer still being a bit wet and your eye shadow getting moved around with it.
I got this on iherb for $3 - So as far as price goes, you cannot fault it! There are a range of colours too, I have it in the colour champagne. The formula is great - It's slightly tacky - which is great because you want the shadows to stick to it. It applies and spreads easily. It definitely makes the eyeshadow stick around longer - not the longest lasting eyeshadow primer I have ever tried, but it has amazing perfomance ability for $3, and if you can't justify spending a lot of money on an eye primer, then this one is definitely worth trying. As for pigmentation, it definitely makes the eyeshadows more pigmented. It's great paired with some of my cheaper eyeshadows, it really helps boost their pigmentation and longevity. All in all an amazing little purchase for $3 - if you are doing an iherb haul, definitely put this in your cart!
Tips: Buy it on iherb, not from Kmart.
I think this eyelid primer is great for the price. It does leave a white cast on the lids so be sure to blend it out well. It may also look a bit patchy and powdery. Does improve the longevity of your liquid eyeliner and your eye shadows and is almost like a concealer in hiding veins and red eyelids. Would definitely recommend this to beginners and people on a budget.
Tips: A little goes a long way!
Super good product for the price.
I like the way its like a lipgloss brush that you just apply to your eyes and then rub in with fingers. It spreads super easy and I found it didnt dry out on my dry eyes!
Works pretty well, helps makeup set and last pretty okay. Would recommend for the price but still am on the search for a better eye primer product.
Tips: Good cheap to have as a backup.
I've purchased this eye primer a few times from Iherb for about $5 and doesnt disappointed. I always purchase the colour champagne and it doesnt add any extra colour to the eye, it just creates a neutral base.
I almost never wear eyeshadow (just dust my blush brush over my eyes) because I have hooded eyes and any crease look will just smudge and get lost as soon as I blink, but when I do wear an eyeshadow (its always just one colour on the lid) I like to use this primer.
I apply this primer when I apply my makeup primer and then do my hair because it will have about 10 minutes to rest of my face. It creates a velvet like coat on your lid that isnt greasy but the eyeshadow will cling to it.
I just apply a single one coat of eyeshadow but this primer will ensure that eyeshadow isnt running off my face and also makes sure that it doesnt crease. That is the worse part of hooded eyes when you eyeshadow gathers into your crease of makes this greasy moist line on the eyes... The embarassment. Well, be assured that this primer wont allow that to happen.
I dont use it often but I see no reason to buy a more expensive eyelid primer when this cheap primer does exactly what I need.
Tips: The longer you can leave this primer on your lids before applying your eyeshadow, it will create a better base for your eyshadow to cling to.
This is the first eyelid primer I've tried and it was around $2 from iHerb. It was so cheap I thought I'd give it a go.
I have oily eyelids and when I've tried to wear eyeshadows or eyeliners in the past, they just wouldn't last on me. When I put this on before eyeshadow, I found that it lasts longer and it keeps the oil at bay.
I can't compare it to more expensive primers but for me this works. Unfortunately, my first one didn't last a long time and there wasn't a lot of product in the tube. I have repurchased it though because it's cheap anyway.
I think this is good for people like me who are just getting into wearing eyeshadows as it won't break the bank if it works on you or not.
For such a small amount of money this primer does such a good job! A little goes a long way and as soon as it's on my eye lids feel smooth straight away. I've been using for a couple of weeks now every time before applying eye makeup and it lasts so much longer then what it used to. Packaging is pretty plain but ya let that slip when the price is so good. Also has a pleasant smell. I'll carry on using this.
Tips: Apply to freshly cleaned skin
