I do like this product, although it feels strange when I spray it on my face, as I usually end up spraying too much of it as it comes out in a big spray and leaves my face wet. I probably need to practice more with it. It does feel nice and refreshing, especially in the Summer time. My makeup does look better and stays in place more when wearing it especially when its hot and humid.

Tips: I put this in my fridge in the summer time and it is so refreshing and really cools me down.
Loved this product. For the price you pay it's a pretty good deal. It has a gentle fragrance that's not intrusive.
Tips: Make sure you spray at least 30cms away from your face, otherwise it does go a bit blotchy.
I have heard a few good things about this spray and when I saw it in the shop for $10 I thought it would be great to try. The first time I used it, I had to get used to the feeling as it takes a few minutes to dry and set. I was walking around fanning my face to make it dry. After it set, I found it made my face look smooth and didn't take the natural look away. It made my makeup stay for ages! When I was removing my makeup that night I realized how well it stayed on. I have a few foundations that don't last a long time so I am excited to see if this spray makes them last longer! And for $10 I think it does really well for me!
Tips: I apply all my face products first- and then spray the setting spray. If I apply mascara before the spray, the mascara tends to run and smudge. Also wait a few minutes before you touch your face for the product to set :)
I think I love this but for all the wrong reasons!
I found that this make up mist and spray did not in any way enhance and enable my make up to last all day. In all honesty, on top of my foundation or powder, it just made my face have a more 'dewyer' appearance.
I also found that my bottle leaked a lot? When it arrived from iHerb, the packaging of it was very wet. Aswell as this, when I would spray it, it would come out of the bottle in big droplets which wouldn't feel too flash on the skin :/
But infact i do love this product in the summer time or after i have cleansed my face! It is such a hydrating spray that cools down my skin and also my redness!
I have a love/hate relationship with this product but I guess you will need to try it for yourself!
Packaging- When I first purchased the product, the bottle was very leaky and everytime I used it the product would just pour out like a tap, so ended up just having to dab it onto my face. After a while, the spray pump started working properly and now I can use it without it spilling everywhere but it does still leak a little bit.
Product - I find this works really well for setting my makeup but does take about 5 - 10 minutes to sink in and work with my foundation. It's refreshing and doesn't have an unpleasant odor or create tackiness on the skin. It settles well.
Lasting power - I find that the mist and set doesn't really create a long lasting makeup like it says it would. I could easily go without it and my makeup wouldn't suffer or fade for it.
Overall- I have mixed feelings, I use this everyday just for the fact that I like the way it settles in with my makeup and is refreshing on the skin, however it doesn't help with fading or wear ability.
My makeup has a habit of disappearing. I put it on, I put on some more, I think 'I've got so much makeup on, if I slapped the back of my head my face would fall off!' And then instead of falling off, it just goes POOF into thin air after an hour or so. So after seeing some of the BR Beauties talk about this product I had to get it and give it a go.
What can I say... Wow!! It works! It's a little dark grey/black bottle of awesomeness.
After applying my makeup I close my eyes and give myself about three to four squirts and then off I go. Hours later my makeup is still there. Foundation, blush, eyeshadow and all!
What's more amazing is that it truly is radiance boosting! I selfied myself after one application and couldn't believe how my skin was glowing! It was the same makeup as I wear everyday, so I had to put the radiance down to the spray.
The only thing I'm not fond of is the smell, it kind of reminds me of vomit. Thankfully the aroma doesn't hang around for long.
So would I recommend you try this? Absolutely!
Tips: Don't get all blinky after spraying or you'll end up with mascara patches around your eyes :)
I've always been one of those people that put on a full face of makeup in the morning only for it to have strangely vanished or shifted by morning tea time. But that was before I got this fabulous little bottle of Mist and Set.
It is now an integral part of my daily routine to spray my face with this product before leaving the house for the day, feeling confident that not only does my makeup look better, but I'm much less likely to walk past a mirror later and be horrified by my reflection.
After applying all my makeup I simply spray two or three bursts of this product over the top, which gives my face a lovely dewy, radiant sparkle, which is particularly good for my aging skin. It seems to set my makeup somehow, so it does still wipe off if you rub your face, but doesn't fall off with just light touching or knocking. At only $10 it's well worth a try.
Tips: Great product for slightly aging skin, giving a light dewy appearance.
I tried this after not being too sure about it. I absolutely love it! Helps my makeup stay on all day and removes the powdery look I get sometimes.
Tips: Don't spray too close to your face and maybe apply before your mascara
Very cheap and very effective. It keeps my makeup on all day and gives me a lovely dewy look to my skin. I have a sensitive face and this doesn't irritate it at all. It is very refreshing to spray on and contains nice ingredients like aloe and cucumber, so in summer when I inevitably get sunburnt this will probably be very soothing.
Tips: Spray on after applying makeup to make it last all day, or during the day for some refreshment.
My first setting spray I ever used and still my favourite.
The product size is 60ml which is really not a lot if you using a setting spray everyday. For me, a setting spray is a must for my make-up and I use 3-4 squirts of this twice a day. The bottle is small, but if you compare the price, you are getting a fair amount. It's cheap. I purchase it off iherb for about $5NZD depending on the conversion. I know Kmart sells it but have yet to find a bottle in a Kmart store in both Dunedin and Auckland.
I don't recommend it if you have a shiny face, I have a shiny face in summer so the setting spray is put away then but dry in winter and I like the natural shine it gives.
It takes a while to set, so give it about 2 minutes and you will notice it doesn't look wet anymore but rather looks like a natural shine. I like to spray it on my top cheek bones holding it about 3-5cm away from my face.
I wish it had a nice, fresh smell because it's the last thing I put on my face. It smells like nothing, which could be a plus. It's not sticky at all and the ingredients are good for your skin like the aloe, green tea and vitamins A,C & E so it shouldn't affect acne. I have acne and I use this religiously every day and it hasn't affected my acne at all.
Would recommend it to anyone and everyone, for the amazing price would be hard to sway me into buying a more expensive product because this product delivers what it's meant to for me. Great product E.L.F!
Tips: If you have shiny skin, I recommend a setting powder rather than a setting spray.
