e.l.f Matte Lip Colour Review

I have purchased an ELF matte lip color in the shade Coral from iHerb and I think I pretty much got what I paid for!

Coral is a gorgeous pinky orangey nude shade, perfect for everyday office wear. I love that it last for a long time, it wore well for at least five hours for me and the lip color is very pigmented.

While I love the colors and the longevity, I find it very drying and not hydrating at all. I already have dry lips and I scrub my lips and apply lip balm before use, but the product still sink into lines and appear dried.

I like that it's got a twisted end instead of having to sharpen the lip color. It comes packaged in a tall skinny pencil style and it's thin enough to fit into any handbags / purse.

Overall I love the ELF matte lip color and I would re-purchase. I have heard so much great things about Tea Rose and I want to try that next.

I have two, in Tea Rose and in Rich Red. This is a fabulous lipstick, very pigmented and lasts sooo long! I applied two coats of this lipstick in Tea Rose in the morning and it lasted me well into the night. I love the packaging, it makes it very easy to use and the only down side to it is that it isn't hydrating at all. Rather the opposite. Despite this I would still buy it again as it is such a lovely product.

This lip colour was my first experience delving into the elf world and it's making me want more! I had heard so many great things about elf, so I was really excited to try this.

I have the colour 'Rich Red' a lovely, deep and stand-out beautiful red. I think it's the perfect red colour, when you want to have lips that really give you the wow factor.

The packaging is black and simple, very understated but still great for such an affordable product. It looks rather like a thick pencil and I was intrigued to apply this.

The formula is nice and glides over your lips. You have to be careful and have a steady hand with application. The formula is very pigmented, which is great. I always apply lip balm over this as well, as being matte it can dry out your lips.

The lip colour looks fantastic for a couple of hours. I do tend to get very dry lips, and after a little while the formula can slightly crack on my lips and my lips really lack hydration.

So, overall this is a beautiful pigmented lip colour, but not very moisturising to your lips.

Trying this lip colour has ignited a passion for elf products, and I can't wait to get some more from iherb and try them out.

I ordered the elf matte lip colour in the shades "Rich Red" and "Tea Rose" off Iherb, and for the price they are stunning! Highly pigmented, rich creamy colours. I love that they last for a very long time, and I find it very easy to line my lips with these. Rich red is a true deep shade of red, and Tea Rose is a lovely light lavender shade. I like to use a lip scrub and then apply lip balm while I'm doing my makeup. I then finish with my lips and apply these lip pencil :) This little trick helps them apply so smoothly, and I love that they are so affordable. I can't wait to add more shades to my collection!

I like the applicator and price! apart from that not that great. Colour looks very fake and unnatural. when it is on your lips it does not moisturize only make them look chalky. I do like the matte look but you will need to have perfect lips and highly moisturized to pull this off without looking like a cake face. EWWW

I recently got all of these (all colours) off I herb.com , and for $3 each I am highly impressed ! Glides on nice and easy , quite pigmented and stays on for a decent amount of time (depending on what your doing ) I love love loooove these :)

I have the colours natural and coral and love them!

The formula is really nice and I don't find it drying at all. They go on smoothly and last a good amount of time on the lips. 'Natural' is a really pretty nude colour and perfect for every day wear.

I also really like the slim packaging of these. It looks sleek and doesn't feel cheap. They are really comfortable to hold and I find they apply more easily than a traditional lipstick.

I really don't think you can go wrong with these. $3 for a really great product!

those are the 3 colours i have in these pencils, i find them to be quite pigmented and very matte, i got them off iherb for something around the $2.50 mark so there are no complaints over here! i wish they were a little bigger for easier application but the staying power is definitely adequate for the price!

I actually don't have a single complaint. Super pigmented and creamy yet matte. I purchased the rich red and natural and the natural doesn't suit me well but the rich red is gorgeous and I constantly get complemented when wearing it. I like the packaging and much prefer it to typical lipstick packaging as I feel that it gets into the corners better without the need for a lip liner. I would live more shades.

I have this in the shade Natural and i LOVE it. Its such a cheap product and is such good quality.

The shade i have is a lovely every day kind of shade. Its one of those "my lips but better" lipsticks. I love that it has a matte formula because it makes it long lasting. This product holds up very well even after eating and drinking. I was more than impressed, especially considering the price.

The packaging is great. Its in the shape of a pen/pencil and has a screw up tube. I love that you can see what the color is on the bottom. Makes it so much easier when storing. You can have them sitting upside down and just grab what color you want. Much better than fiddling through and having to read every shade at the bottom to find what you want.

I absolutely love this lipstick and need more of these in my life! What other shade does everyone love?? I need to order more soon! :)
