e.l.f Matte Lip Colour Review

I have these in Natural and Tea Rose, and man do I love them. I can't wait to get the rest of the collection! I love matte lips, and these aren't too drying, they don't 'drag' on the lip and stay put fairly well. Obviously for the price, I don't expect them to be as long wearing as other brands, but i still think they're great!

They have a nice scent and even taste great lol. The little cap on the bottom comes off and there is a wee sharpener there as well. I haven't needed to use that yet, but I guess if I broke of a tip or something and needed to reshape it, it would come in handy.

My Elf favourite. I literally have multiples for all the shades. Praline is my favourite! They are so cheap, so easy to apply, good staying power and people are always asking me what product I am using and they are always shocked when I say $3 on iHerb. They just need more colours now

I've tried a tonne of matte lip pencils, of all prices, and this is by far one of my favourite. Some great colours, great formula - feels soft and velvety on the lips (much like the NARS velvet mattes). Stays on for a pretty long time, very comfortable to wear and easy to apply! Also cannot beat the price. Highly recommend if there's a colour you like - hopefully they expand the range.

I brought two of these while in the USA in the colour Praline, which is a nice rich brown/dark red colour and i love them! I always use a lip liner, but they last great and are very true to colour. I have had lots of comments on the colour and they are so cheap! even back here in NZ. I wish they had more of a selection of colours though, as out of the 4 or 5 i think they have only one shade suited me. If they had more colours i'd definately buy more!

It can always be a hit and miss buying things online but i totally lucked out with this gorgeous lippy pencil! The colour is so hot, i usually do one light layer for work and just add more with full lip pencil for when i go out. I have very light blonde hair and it makes me feel like a barbie doll wearing it = love it!

The pencil is the perfect thickness, you can use it as a liner and lipstick together or just as a liner if you wanted to mix up the colours. Its lastest me AGES too, heaps of stick in there so you its amazing value for money.

I have this in 2 colours, these are really affordable and inexspensive, love the colour pigmentation of both the red and nude colors i own. These come in a matte packaging with a wind up twist system. Love the easy to use packaging, also comes with a lid! Also love the ease of throwing into my make up bag when i need. The prpduct itself has a matte soft and creamy texture, lasts all day on the lips and looks great over a lip liner.Highly reccomend.

I have this in a nude lip colour, its very subtle, i love it! It stays on for a decent very hours if i don't lick my lips much etc. For the price it's really good and affordable. It goes on creamy, i don't find it drying . Id love to get more colours! 5/5

I recently got all of these (all colours) off I herb.com , and for $3 each I am highly impressed ! Glides on nice and easy , quite pigmented and stays on for a decent amount of time (depending on what your doing ) I love love loooove these :)

I have this in the shade Natural and i LOVE it. Its such a cheap product and is such good quality.

The shade i have is a lovely every day kind of shade. Its one of those "my lips but better" lipsticks. I love that it has a matte formula because it makes it long lasting. This product holds up very well even after eating and drinking. I was more than impressed, especially considering the price.

The packaging is great. Its in the shape of a pen/pencil and has a screw up tube. I love that you can see what the color is on the bottom. Makes it so much easier when storing. You can have them sitting upside down and just grab what color you want. Much better than fiddling through and having to read every shade at the bottom to find what you want.

I absolutely love this lipstick and need more of these in my life! What other shade does everyone love?? I need to order more soon! :)

I need to blow you an 'Intense Red' covered lips kiss e.l.f!! I got the intense red matte lip colour and I can safely say that it is the EASIEST lipstick to apply and get perfect everytime! It's just like using a pen it feels like I am in complete control the whole time because of how it's held. With short stubby lipstick tubes it feels awkward in my hand and often I end up with colour outside the lines.

The colour is so intense like the name says and looks just as it is portrayed in the tube. My lips were treated to a moisture explosion after using it. The lipstick is definitely matte and not shiny just how I like it! It doesn't last on my lips as long as I would like but the cheap price tag means I can apply to my heart content and not have to worry about being unfriended by my bank account.

I love the long slim design because it fits nicely in my purse because it's like a pen. I am sold and need to get the other colours that float my boat. Thank you e.l.f for making my bank happy and my desire for lipstick affordable and a pleasure to use.
