Although its so cheap, the set isn't worth the buy. The overall quality of the brushes is low. The eye brushes are manageable but the foundation brushes leave a very streaky application.

I got this as my first ever brush set, i didn't think it was too bad but I didn't have anything to compare them with at the time. The fluffy brushes shed ALOT they weren't soft at all and the dye ran out when I was washing them which I thought was pretty bad.
I bought this thinking I was getting a useable set of brushes for a quater the price of a quality set.
Nearly every brush the hairs began to fall out almost instantly so by that I didnt even attempt to try and clean the brushes. Despite most of them being duds, that werent worth the money. Let alone my time , the Eyeliner brush is the only one I endorse and the only brush that has survived.
I brought one if these sets with the intention to use it for good or special occasions. I was totally drawn into how many brushes and the description. It sounded fab!
On arrival I was very impressed. The brushes looked amazing. Looked professional and felt beautiful against my skin.
Then came using them... (rolls eyes) I was applying foundation and next thing I have black hairs all over my face. Shedding! What the heck! Then I tried the eyeshadow brush and it was just Agh! I gave up. I promptly went off and washed them all to see if that would make it better.
Tried numerous times and I just got so fustrated with all of the brushes! I threw them in a canister and left on my shelf. When my everyday brushes are dirty I go to these and get reminded why I don't use then. I don't like how they pick up the shadow, how they blend foundation and powders. Now I stick to my real techniques ones
Tips: Save a few more dollars and buy a set that's real techniques
I'm not super experienced with make-up brushes, but I bought this set a few months ago, mainly due to the low price! And I do not regret it. They seem pretty good quality for the price, and have improved my makeup application so much! Of course, some brushes in the set are better than others... I love the blush brush especially, its soo nice to use! Also love the total face brush, its perfect :) The smudge eye sponge is also very useful, as is the eyeshadow brush and brow comb/brush. However, I found the foundation brush very disappointing, feels nice but gives a very streaky application. Also not a big fan of the lip brush, it isn't as easy to use as some others I have. The eyeliner brush just doesn't work that well for me either, but I use the concealer brush for my eyeliner instead! However, I think as a starter set, it was definitely worth buying! Use most of the brushes every day! (:
Tips: Good for beginners like me who have no idea what to buy, and don't want to spend heaps of money! I also like how the brushes have what they are designed printed on the handle, very useful when you're just starting out with brushes!
Clearly these brushes are not going to be the best, with the price point being so low. However after hearing some good reviews about elf brushes I thought I would order this set from iherb. The largest brush was broken, and in fact all of the larger brushes (bronzer, brush contour etc) were frankly pretty terrible. On another note the eye brushes weren't bad and would do a fair job of applying eyeshadow. I expected these to be of better quality than the cheap Avon brushes I have had for years but no. If you were just starting up with makeup, I would probably just purchase some of the eye brushes separately and spend the bit extra to get the better quality face brushes.
I do like some of the brushes in this set however some of them i strongly dislike. the eyeshdow brush, eyebrow brushes and the powder and blush brushes are all decent enough for what i paid for. I do however not like the foundation brush as it left my face all streaky
There are a few brushes in the pack I love, the only ones I've had problems with are the concealer brush, lip brush and the eyeshadow brush isn't how I would prefer it to be. Other than that, I love the foundation brush, but I am an avid finger user haha. I love doing my brows, so I use the brow brush and brow wand every day 10/10 for those brushes. The blush and slanted brush are very mediocre but do the job well. The other brushes are very weird haha, the concealer one just wipes around the products around my face and wont blend in at all, so I use my fingers instead.
If you're just a make up beginner this brush pack is definitely for you! If you know what you're doing, its probably best to spend a bit more money for better quality.
To me, The pack was worth the price I spent haha, which was If I can recall $12 USD on Iherb, so its quite a cheap find.
Still iffy about the brushes, but they do the job to some degree haha.
Tips: Spending a few extra $$ is probably the best idea to get a better brush set that has better quality to it.
I brought this set off of IHerb as I had heard great things about the Elf brushes. I foundation brush left streaks and then it broke after using it 3 times. The powder brush is a bit rough. I do how ever love the eye shadow brush
Half of these fell apart after a couple uses! I could believe the bad quality of these given Elf is usually so good in other areas! A no go.
