I don't know why but I always stopped myself from buying this and now that I have it I should slap myself. This is the only powder I have ever used that doesn't make me crease. It does get messy and it has a bit of glitter in it if you use too Much, although you shouldn't need too much. Never thought that an under eye powder would be something that was important but it is! Everyone should own this. It's really affordable and I will guarantee that you'll like it.

I ordered this powder to try to make my more high end powders go a but further by using this for work...and oh my gosh! It performs so well I almost prefer it!! It is very finely milled so doesn't feel grainy and when buffed over foundation gives a gorgeous silky finish! The packaging is a tad awkward and messy but the product is so worth it, I think I paid around $6 usd from iherb and I will most definitely be replacing!
Tips: This powder is lovely to use if you are using the primer/powder/foundation/powder routine!
I was a bit dubious buying this powder because it was so cheap I thought it would be too good to be true. Boy was I wrong! This powder is amazing!! I can't believe how well this sets your foundation/concealer in place and makes it last all day. I have very oily skin and used this all through summer with only having to blot once but not actually touch up my make up! I was so amazed at how it held up through the heat and humidity. Love the price and love the product!
I am not one who uses powder a lot because my skin is dry and I like my foundation to look dewy. I bought this, however, because I wanted something that would help my foundation stay on during the summer.
The packaging looks nice - it is a matte black container which looks expensive. However, this stuff makes a MASSIVE mess. The powder tends to fly out everywhere when you screw the lid on - so if you are wearing black you may want to ask someone to put the lid on for you.
Aside from that, I love this powder. It feels super silky and is milled very, very finely. You want to be careful and apply only the lightest coats of this powder as it can make you look pale if you apply too much.
I find this blends easily into my skin and doesn't cling to any dry patches. This helps prolong my foundation and makes me a little more matte, while still maintaining a glow. I love that you can still see your skin under this and I haven't had any issues with cakiness.
Because the jar is massive, you get a lot of product and this lasts a long time. I highly recommend this and will definitely repurchase it when my current one runs out.
Tips: Cut the sticker over the sifter in half (so you're leaving the sifter half covered with the sticker). This helps minimise the amount of product that sprays out everywhere when you put the lid on.
I always set my foundation with a translucent or coloured pressed powder and thought I would try this elf loose translucent powder out for a change and see how I went.
As far as I am aware the whole point of setting your foundation with a powder product is to 1.) Extend the wear time of the foundation and 2.) Prevent oiliness developing around the t-zone. This product does both of these things without giving a a white cast to the face, looking cakey or drying my face out.
It is a very fine powder so buffs into the skin smoothly and easily and applies best with a large powder or Kabuki Brush.
The only downfall to this product in the packaging which is not the greatest at 'containing' the powder and makes the product a bit messy to use. The packaging is also a bit bulky, but, for the price and the results you get using the product this is easily overlooked.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this powder and will be repurchasing it when my current container is finished. I find Elf products a bit hit and miss to be honest but this is a definite hit for me, it ticks all my boxes. The ridiculously inexpensive prices sometimes set off alarm bells when thinking of product quality etc but with Elf this is not something to worry about.
Tips: Purchase off iherb.com for the best price (that I have found anyway).
Super silky, finely milled ultra translucent, not fragranced and no parabens everything I could want in a loose setting powder but the deal breaker for me is that I am incredibly allergic to this breaking out all over my face and neck - think I am allergic to the silica unfortunately. But if you aren't super allergic to products and are on the lookout for a great translucent powder which doesn't exaggerate fine lines/pores this is a great powder for a great price, even the packaging is nice and sturdy.
Yay I'm so glad this product is on here for review. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product.
It feels so soft and silky and extremely easy to apply. You don't need a lot of it, as a little goes a long way and it lasts for ages. It really brings out my makeup and I just love the look of it when I have it on. My makeup can look really dull and then I apply this and it just looks so much better.
I love the fact that it has no scent as I don't like putting scents onto my skin due to high sensitivity and this is mineral based which is perfect for me. I don't break out with this product on my face which is a huge bonus.
I also have this in the colour Shimmer which is so good and a yellow one on the way, can't wait to try it.
Tips: The pot is massive and it has a sieve part on the top, unfortunately it does tend to come out quite fast but I just tip a little into the lid, dip my RT buffing brush, tap off any loose powder and then apply that way. Its so easy.
I have always read how important it is to set your foundation with powder so it will last longer but my usual experience with powders is that my face gets so cakey from even the smallest amount because my skin is very dry.
Well that was my experience until I tried this powder anyway! I bought this because I had seen such great reviews on youtube and especially from people who also had dry skin so at $6 from iherb, I thought why not?
It is a white powder but as you only use a small amount it doesn't show up white on your face. I use the ELF kabuki brush to apply mine (also another fave!). I gently buff it over my whole face, even a little under my eyes to set my concealor. It makes it my 'face' last all day, doesn't set into dry bit's or pores and also gives a nice flawless finish.
The only thing I slightly dislike is that when I open the lid, it can be a bit messy so I hold it away from me and away from anything that I don't want powder on. Otherwise it's fine, it's a big container too so should last a while. I would definitely recommend this powder to anyone, especially for someone with dry skin like myself.
This is absolute perfection. It stops my concealer from creasing on me and it just makes my under eyes look flawless. There is glitter in it but I make sure I use a fluffier brush so the glitter just flies off. It's so inexpensive and works like a dream It's a must have!
