I got this cause my friend kept raving about it (ended up selling her mine) i got the golden one i found it quite hard to get it to show up enough for my liking. Might be better for someone really pale. Im ivory though so unsure of that. It was very light so it be a great natural basically nothing bronzer if thats what your after. I also pretty sure this clogged up some my pores around cheek bone areas as i found i had a few popping up not long after using/wearing this product and since ive stopped ive noticed they have gone.

I have run out of this product at the moment, but I guess that just goes to show how much I like it. I love that the colours all blend together really nicely, which is great for when I am doing a rushed make up. I often would use this bronzer to highlight after I contoured my face, as there was a little bit of a shimmer to it. I found that the texture of this product was really great, and that it applied evenly. Which is great for ensuring you get no horrible lines, and an unblended mess.
amazing as a higlight , only downside is that its pressed so densely , pigmentation is amazing and is right up their with marylou.
When I saw the swatches online for this product I knew straight away that I wasn't going to be using it as a bronzer. I prefer my bronzers to be matte but the shades are not ones we haven't seen before however the combination of colours really drew me in so I pressed ADD TO CART hehe.
I bought mine from the ELF Cosmetics website via Shipito for about NZD$5.00 and that's absolutely crazy for a product with sleek sturdy packaging, a decent size mirror and 4 gorgeous golden shades (tan, peach, apricot and taupe). All shades have very fine shimmer and a beautiful sheen whether applied individually or swirled together.
A blush brush or angled brush can fit nicely into each segment without disturbing the other shades. I notice that there is a kick up of powder when I swirl the product but I can't really complain because the price point is just too good for what we already get and you'll still be able to achieve a lovely warm golden glow.
I suppose if you're going for sunkissed-just-got-myself-a-nice -tan look you could get away with using this as a bronzer but just note that once you hit the sun you'll be shimmering in all those places. I swirl all the shades together and use it as a blush topper when I want that sun kiss look while using a matte bronzer for the rest of my face. As a highlight I only use the apricot and peach because they show up well on my already chocolate skin - I do tend to go in with a heavy hand but that's just how I like my highlight.
The longevity of this product is quite good; it lasts me a good 6-7 hours with setting spray and then the colour begins to fade away while the shimmer remains behind. This is not an issue for me because it's a blush topper. When it's highlight however I tend to be more cautious of how well I place and set it with a finishing powder. I would happily recommend this for those on a tight budget.
I have this little palette in the cool set. It's an all matte color selection. It comes in a sleek black case that closes securely. It matches the other elf products and doesn't look as cheap as the price is. I bought this from either iherb or beauty joint. I can't really remember as I've had it for so Long!
Inside you get four different colors. Two browns, ones a sunny kind of brown and the other is deeper with a reddish tinge. There is a rosy colored blush and an off white shade. Now these are quite pigmented, although they are a bit powdery too. I find them reasonably easy to blend out and I like how I can bronze up my face without going orange. I find the color lasts pretty well throughout the day as well.
What I don't like is simple really, but it's just getting the product on my Brush! The pan is large but because it's divided into four shades, it makes each color rather small and you can't get only the color onto your brush. I use the lighter brown which is below the highlight and it gets patches of white and brown on my brush which is not what I'm going for with Bronzer! It takes me ages to get an even brown all over my brush, much longer than i really want to be bothered with! To be honest, the highlight shade isn't very necessary in this palette, it's quite chalky and it let's down the other three colors. I've never used it by itself, and can't see myself ever reaching for it.
I think this would be OK for beginners and for the price it's fine. I just think I'd rather pay more for a better Bronzer.
I personally like this product! I use the Golden pallet and it gives a very subtle bronze shimmer. It is a very subtle bronzer but it is nice to use for a natural look.

I needed a new bronzer and decided to give this one a try as it was such a great price (under $10 at Kmart). It comes in a sturdy plastic (almost rubbery feeling, similar to Nars) compact with a very generous mirror. There are four shades of bronzer ranging from fairly light to more golden and 3 of them have a shimmer. I prefer to use them mixed together with a large powder brush. I applied this for the first time the other day and was absolutely blown away by the beautiful golden glow it left on my cheeks. It is a subtle glow and does need to be built up but I like this as it means you’re less likely to put on too much. I didn’t even have to apply a highlighter as the shimmer just looked so fresh and glowing without being obvious. I kept checking it throughout the day and it didn’t move or fade. I had this on my skin for about 8-9 hours before I noticed a slight fading but it was still pretty even after wearing it all day. I have never loved a bronzer so much and I’m tempted to get a back up for when I run out of this. I already have at least 5 other bronzers ranging in price from $10 - $50 and none of them even come close to this beautiful one.
Tips: Use individually or swirl together for a beautiful glow. They can also be used as an eyeshadow
The price point and the colour of this bronzer would be the best selling points and was what drew me to purchase. Its a chlaky/powdery texture and you end up going back for more the more you work with the product. It is a very good neutral tone that would suit most skin types. I loved the durability and the sleekness of the packaging, elf has to be my favourite for packaging. The product throughout the day needed 2 touch ups and was patchy by the time i got home. Would reccomend if your just starting out with makeup and needed something easily blendable.
I am a huuge ELF fan. They make great products at affordable prices but I do have to say I am not in love with this bronzer.
I use bronzer on the daily so when I purchased this from K-Mart I thought I had nabbed myself a bargain! The colour does not transfer well at all - I did not see any difference once I had applied it. Super disappointing outcome but for $5 not much of a loss.
