I bought these brushes off iherb.com after being drawn to the duo end which is cheaper and more convenient. I found that all four brushes were okay but don't really pick up on product that well nor do they apply it very smooth. The blending side of the brush didn't do a very good job of blending which I was very disappointed about as the reason I bought them was for that particular brush. Overall i'd recommend for bringing when travelling as it saves you bringing four separate brushes and they're cheap so it's not the end of the world if you lose them.

Eco Tools Eye Enhancing Duo Set Review
Eco Tools Eye Enhancing Duo Set Review
This four-tool pack is condensed into two brushes with a brush head on each end, freeing up space in your makeup bag and making transformations from day to night a breeze.
Shade & Define Brush Apply shadow all over the lid with the shading brush then flip it over and use the defining brush to add depth to the eyes.
Blend & Smudge Brush Blend shadow to eliminate harsh lines with the blending brush, and use the smudge brush to create soft definition along the lash line.

I bought these off iHerb and they are really affordable! The brushes themselves are really soft, although I find that they don't pick up or apply all that much product, meaning it takes a couple of goes to get the same application as other brushes.
As this comes as a duo, it's hard to have both as outstanding. Each brush has one end that I really like while the other end is not really my favourite.
To me, the thickness and length of the bristle is very important. Some other eye brushes have either too thin bristle or the length is not enough. The shade end of the brush is great but the define end doesn't work well for me. The define end is an angled eyeliner brush. It's very thick and difficult to use, especially when ur newbie to eyeliner or you want to create a sharp and precise line. The blend & smudge brush is quite nice. The blend side is soft and easy to use but I prefer the smudge end. The smudge end is really a highlight to me as it's dense and thick. This is my go-to brush when creating a smoky look.
Tips: I sometimes use the define brush for my eyebrows or a thick wing eyeliner
I got this little set of iherb.com and I am pretty happy with them.
First off the double ended nature of these brushes presents the same problem as the urban decay double ended brushes included with all the naked palettes, that is...How do you store the little devils? I ended up just storing them all in my normal brush holder with the least fluffy/more dense side down and they don't seem to be suffering.
The brushes themselves I quite like. The Define & Shade brush has an eyebrow brush on one end which I find really handy (as I don't have any other eyebrow brush at the moment) and fills in my brows nicely and on the other end is a reasonably sized flattish shader brush which I use for packing colour on the lid and also to blend shades into the crease. The Blend & Smudge brush is just as useful with a small dense blending brush on one end (which is actually a little to dense for soft blending) and a short flat smudge brush perfect for smudging eye shadow along the lash line.
For the price I think these are a great buy, they aren't the most amazing brushes on the market but they are soft, don't shed and do a pretty good job at an everyday makeup look.
These brushes are great quality for a fantastic pricepoint. I love these brushes for travel and I find that they wash really well with no loss of bristles. The bristles are lovely and soft and the handles fit very comfortably in your hand.
I like to use the angled brush for along my lashline and also for defining my brows. The large shader brush is good for packing on shadows, although is perhaps not quite a effective at picking up product as other flat shader brushes I have used. The smudge brush is also nice for adding a little depth to the outer corner of the eye. I find the blender brush end to be the only real dud of the four brush ends. It is soft, but IMO a little too dense and stiff for blending out shadows correctly. I find it more effective to use this to apply the shadow into the crease, and then to switch to another brush for blending.
All in all this brush set is an absolute steal and one I would totally recommend to beginners or for travel.
I love ecotools brushes! These brushes pick up eyeshadow and other product so well! The bristles are really soft which is very important for the eye area. I also really love how these brushes are environmentally friendly. I would definitely recommend these brushes to anyone - experienced or beginner. The price is also really good, I purchased these brushes off iherb for about $7 NZD.
Tips: I found that these brushes are easiest to wash by washing one end at a time on each brush because when you leave them to dry you want to ensure that the brush is angled downwards so that no water gets up into the handle of the brush because this will cause damage and the bristles may begin to fall out.
I have a few of these brushes and I love them. They work amazingly well and are great for blending. They don't shed and pick up the right amount of product. The bristles are soft and fluffy. The brushes look pretty and are eco friendly which is great. I love how well they work for such a tiny price
These brushes are amazing!! They are so soft and pick up just the right amount of product, I have not experienced any shedding at all! They are so affordable and also very environmentally friendly which is a great bonus! the only thing I don't like about them is that because they are double ended, they are kind of hard to store, they do come with a nice pouch but it does displace a couple of bristles, but not much
Unfortunatly I couldn't find the product by Eco Tools for the blush brush but i'm pretty sure they are pretty much the same.
I bought my makeup brush 3 years ago and until today it is like new. It is SUCH great quality.
I love the fact that these brushes are eco and non harmful to the environment. But unfortunately the brushes are to hard and prickly to apply makeup around the eye area I do find other brushes in their range to be alot gentler
