Due to Beauty Review and the cult following of elf products I have slowly and surely added more elf products to my collection. I used to think that cheaper makeup meant not so good quality, but elf and Essence have proved this wrong.
I now have elf lip colours, highlighters, powders and this bronzer duo. All of the other products I have been very impressed with, such great quality for an affordable price. However, this would have to be the first elf product I've had which I'm not so fussed about.
This bronzer/blush duo is in the usual elf packaging, black, sleek and functional. It is simple, yet works well. I love the idea of having both a bronzer and blush is the same compact, it's so great for travelling!
My skintone is quite pale, and I like to wear bronzer year round to give me a healthy and natural looking glow. This bronzer does not look as natural as other bronzers I use (such as nars or smashbox). I find the formula gives a slight tone of orange, which I'm not a fan of.
In terms of the blush, the colour is lovely and gives me a nice, flushed look. However, I find the blush is too glittery for me.
Overall, its been great to try this product, but when it comes to my bronzer and blush I much prefer my nars products.
You Tubers and Bloggers hype that this is a dupe for Nars Laguna Bronzer & Blush Orgasm. The ELF bronzer is a more orange tone than Laguna and has a shimmer. It is very pigmented but can leave quite an orange cast if not well blended on pale skin. I don't have Nars Orgasm blusher to compare but really do like the ELF Blush. It does have shimmer which I don't mind for evening use and is a flattering colour... All and all it's good for what you pay for but is not a go to everyday product
Tips: Use the bronzer as a bronzer around the outers of facer for a sun-kissed look, don't expect it to be any good for contour
