I was lucky enough to get these glosses in the Beauty Vault, and I am so impressed with these! My fave is the Precious petal. I feel like this shade is a natural "my lips but better". It makes my lips look fuller and adds a subtle shine. Not overly glossy. I love the coral kiss as a clear gloss, and use this over many of my matte lipsticks when I'm wanting to add a bit of a pop to my lips. I generally forget to use the other two as I have my faves, but I know I will use them a bit more at some point. I love the smell of these glosses, smells like vanilla and it is so heavenly! What I didn't like about these glosses is that they are quiet thick and sticky when applying, and the glosses are in mini sizes.. so for the price I personally wouldn't buy these glosses at all. I feel for the money, they aren't of a good enough value.

Reviews
I also bought his from the vault at the end of 2013, but I didn't try the glosses until the new year (they went into my Christmas stocking).
The red bag went straight in the bin, it has to be said it was pretty bad.
The glosses though are lovely. I thought I might find one or two good and the others not, but I have found all four very wearable, mainly as the are all quite sheer and not too strong. Even the bright colour 'Passionfruit' is very wearable. They are glossy but not sticky, sweet but not sickly, and as long as you're careful eating and drinking, reasonably long-lasting. They work well over lipsticks too, and don't fight the underlying colour.
What I do find strange is that one of the colours in the set is not one listed. Instead of 'Iridescent Mauve', my set came with 'Royal Plum'. This is also the only colour in the set without shimmer, the other three all have gold shimmer through them. I think there must have been a production error? Luckily, it's still a great colour, and it's good to have one without sparkle.
Tips: Try them over lipstick to get subtle variations. Each colour subtly changes the look of a single lipstick.
I was lucky enough to pick this up in the recent Beauty Vault, Elizabeth Arden is such a quality brand and I'm a sucker for a nice lip product - a girl can never have enough! In recent years I haven't been wearing glosses much at all but decided it was time to work a few back into my routine.
The bag it came in was not quite too my liking and was an interesting choice in my opinion for such a pretty, feminine gloss set.
The glosses themselves were very petite, but a good size for slipping into the handbag. The wand has a typical doe-foot applicator which is always a good option for applying glosses.
Each gloss had a lovely toffee-like smell, really deliciously scented so I was pretty impressed there! They didn't have any overly strong taste but I don't see this as a bad thing as it does stop you licking it off!
The colours in the set consisted of 3 shimmers : Passionfruit, a suprisingly pigmented fuchsia pink; Coral Kiss, a soft peachy-coral hue and Precious Petal, a blush coloured gloss which gives just the right hint of colour to your lips.
The final colour I received was Royal Plum, a creamy opague nude. This was actually the colour I thought I would end up giving away but now it's my favourite, it's the perfect nude gloss.
I've been wearing these alone and over lipstick for a glossy finish and they do last really well. I can see I will get a lot of use out of these, especially as the creamy formula really moisturisers your lips which has been great so-far this winter.
Despite getting good use out of these now I don't think I would purchase them full price as I do think for the amount you receive you could get a lot more value with other glosses as there's so many drugstore brands that offer alternatives at a better price and comparable quality.
Tips: I've tried wearing these both alone, over lipstick and over lip liner for different colour options, they're incredibly versatile!
I'm not normally a lip gloss person as I normally find the textures to be off-putting mainly through being too sticky or tacky. However, I found the Elizabeth Arden gloss set to be an absolute winner! Although I only used the Coral Kiss and Iredescent Mauve, I found them to be both asthetically and aromatically pleasing. I found them to both compliment my beige skin tone by adding a little sparkle and a hint of colour, a look that is perfect for either everyday use or for casual outings. Longevity could do with some improvement, I found myself forever trying to taste the hint of vanilla that these glosses provide.
I'm another lucky BR member to get this set from the beauty vault, yay! So pleased with the colour range. Not too sticky and a delicious buttery scent. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the purse/bag the glosses come in, but it will definitely come in handy. Perfect gift for any woman!
This would make a great little gift for ladies of all ages, there are shades in here to suits a variety of skintones, ages and personal preferences.
First I will describe the formula - I am someone who generally dislikes glosses so this is quite a thumbs up really as I actually like the formula of these - long wearing, a little sticky (to be expected) but a nice silicone type texture which stops them from being overly sticky. The flavour is divine - a buttery vanilla caramel - reminds me of caramello or something. I am also impressed that these don't contain parabens (according to the ingredients list) which I try and avoid in all of my lip products.
The shades: Passionfruit - incredibly pigmented bright peppy hot pink with blue undertones, absolutely does not work with my skintone but I have re-gifted it to someone who loves it!
Precious petal - nude pink loaded with gold shimmers - leaves glitter behind once it wears off so it's not my fave but it is definitely pretty for night-time or a bit of sparkle.
Coral Kiss - similar to Precious petal but less obvious gold frosting and gorgeous pinky peach tint to the lips looks fresh and healthy without trying too hard.
and finally my fave of the bunch (listed as a mauve shade on here) but mine contained the shade Royal Plum which I would consider purchasing in the full size since it looks so good on my skintone - it is a plummy mauve neutral browned pink with no obvious shimmer and a lovely creamy opaque texture.
You also get a cute little purse (luxury quality by no means but still nice) which is handy for keeping in the handbag - holds a compact mirror, a gloss and a mini mascara quite nicely for touchups.
I was lucky enough to get these from the vault (YAY!) and I love them.
As the other ladies have said they are not sticky which is a huge bonus for me and they have a very delicate scent to them.
They aren't very pigmented which I happen to love in a lip gloss and I also love the glittery bits. They last as long as I would expect a lip gloss to last, around a couple of hours.
The bag is cute but useless and I was disappointed in the size as I didn't read the description at all and assumed they would be full sized lip glosses but they weren't, but that doesn't stop me loving them. I honestly don't know if I would pay $59.00 again for them tho' as they are a bit on the small size.
This set is quite popular with a lot of my friends.. its good value for money & perfect if your getting it for a gift. They're are great for a travel size & good on the go.. I'm not too phased about the bag itself but the colours are Definitely Illuminous.
Tips: I love glosses that do what they're supposed to & this set alone is great, perfect for when your not wanting to wear too much & just need a little highlighting of your lips where people still notice.
I love the long wear glossy look of the Elizabeth Arden lip gloss set. It smells divine and stays on your lips. It gives your lips plump and delectable look. My absolve favorite is the clear, it goes over smoothly to add shine and spunk to a matte lip colour or it just adds a little shine on a natural look. The lip gloss packaging is classy and it's always in my bag. You never know when you will need a bit of shine.
Firstly I feel kind of bad for giving this such an average review since I got this in the beauty vault sale (which I'm super, super grateful for!).
I wouldn't have purchased this usually as I'm not a fan of EA but was excited to try these. I thought for their price they'd be super pigmented, soft and long lasting.
They smell delicious (a vanilla scent), feel good on your lips - they're not tacky whatsoever, and are a great size for your handbag.
What disappointed me, however, was the pigmentation. They aren't very well pigmented at all and it took me 3 applications to get average colour payoff. They also have micro glitters in them which I'm not a massive fan of.
In saying this though, they do last a long time on your lips (around 2 hours on me if I'm eating or drinking), and they are nice and glossy.
To be brutally honest though, I wouldn't pay $60 for them when I feel like my NYX glosses do a superior job.
If you are a EA fan or collector, however, you wouldn't go wrong in purchasing these although I wouldn't purchase them.
