This is the first Essence product I’ve tried and wow what a bargain at around $5 at Farmers. I like to use a brow powder and a liquid brow mascara on top to set and add a bit more polish to my brows. This one is almost the same as the Mellow one I’ve used in that it’s fairly liquid and you only need one swipe to do both brows. The colour I chose was Chocolatey Brows and I should have gone a shade darker but next time - this one’s a keeper at less than half the price of a Rimmel version. I’ve also used it on it’s own when I’m in a rush after the pool and it looks fine, just a bit more natural than over powder. The only minus is that it probably doesn’t have as much hold/wax as more expensive versions but that won’t stop me buying this again.

This is such a great eyebrow gel, it gives nice definition to brows. I apply this after the essence Brow Pen. It can clump a tiny bit, so I use a spoolie and then eyebrow brush afterwards. I use the Browny Brows shade in the colder weather, and the Chocolaty Brows shade in the warmer weather.
Tips: Use a spoolie brush and eyebrow brush to comb through eyebrows after applying.
I love this eyebrow gel. I saw it recommended over a high end brand so had to try it. For about $5 from Farmers, how can you go wrong?
First of all, Essence is vegan so takes out a lot of questions when using a cheaper brand, and its SO GOOD. The wand is like a super small mascara wand which allows for natural looking application that can be built on. I don't notice a huge amount of fibres being deposited but my brows look well groomed, fully and natural after application. You can feel the product on your brows once its dried but looks great.
There is a decent range of colours (I find darker is better) and although the packaging very basic it does a great job. I find it dries out/gets used up pretty fast but for $5 its affordable enough to be buying a new one every few motnhs. This is a staple in my makeup bag!
Tips: Wait for the product to dry if you make an error, its easier to wipe off dry otherwise it just smudges.
Great product and excellent price! I have always used the Benefit GimmeBrow and wanted to try this as an alternative which I have been very satisfied with. Only needs to be very thinly applied and is easy to work with.
An affordable product, which is a perfect size that can easily fit in your to-go bag! Unfortunately this product was a bit of a flop for me :( Its quite wet which i dont like, so perhaps i need to dry it out a little so it works better for me. It worked for a short duration but after a while my brow hairs would drop from the position i brushed them up to. If you were after product that was just tinting your brow hairs, this one would be perfect for you as it does give a nice natural, subtle look. Just didn't work for me and my "makeup style" i guess.
I'm a massive fan of Benefit's GimmeBrow and this is a very very good dupe for that. It has a slightly longer brush and a smaller colour range, but for a tenth of the price it's well worth a go.
I use the darker shade on top of my brow pencil to tidy and fill in brows. It applies and washes off easily, and wears well.
Sure, the packaging looks cheap, but for the tiny price tag it doesn't really matter.
Recommended!
Tips: Unless you're VERY fair the dark might be a better bet - most people I know tend to go for the darker option here.
Essence's "Make Me Brow" is a great size, its perfect for travel or to place into your bag for on-the-go touch ups if needed. Its very similar in size/brush style to Benefits "Gimme Brow" but far cheaper. I do like this Essence one though, it seems to do the job pretty well on my quite thick and unruly brows. I really enjoy the small brush on this as it allows me to get every hair. I also like that while there is pigment, it isn't dripping in coloured brow gel, it allows for a natural finish, unlike some that I have that I cant use to much of, as it darkens and fills in my brows unnaturally. Really enjoy the price point as well.
This is my holy grail eyebrow gel which is great because its so cheap and is cruelty free! I use the colour browny brows. The fibres in the gel are good at helping to add volume without looking obvious. I also like how this gel still keeps my eyebrows looking "fluffy" rather than stiff which some eyebrow gels can do.
I tried this on a whim and it has now become a staple in my makeup bag. I love that you can apply it on top of an eye brow pencil for a dramatic look, but that it also looks just as natural on its own. I paid around $5 for this and I go through a tube every 6-8 weeks depending how often I use it (mostly daily). I have recommended this to so many people and will keep doing so!
