This was one of two mascaras I just recently brought after discovering this fabulous and so affordable range online at Farmers.I go through so many mascaras and often find one works perfectly for my top lashes but does a really bad job with my bottom lashes. This one is perfect for getting every little lash covered without clumping.I found it did not do much volumizing for my top lashes but then again they are very sparse and definitely need a bigger brush to make them stand out.I will continue to use this one for those lower lashes because at this price it's completely worth it and does the job better than some expensive brand mascaras.I have only worn this mascara in the day time and have noticed no smudging or flaking, just perfectly dark lashes. The formula appears to be gentle too which is good for sensitive eyes.

Very lengthening! Thats what I love about it. Wish there was a waterproof version. Can flake after longwear.
Nice skinny brush that can get right in to the inner corner.
For the price I was surprised with how my lashes looked after! I would for sure repurchase.
Avid Essence mascara fan. Almost all my mascaras are from this brand. This mascara provides lift and volume. Definition, so so. But that could just be the way my lashes are. Some days separation of lashes was en Pointe. Other days slightly clumpy look. Od at grabbing in the smaller, inner eye lashes. Also the lower lash line. Affordable, good results. Would repurchase.
I bought this when feeling lazy in Farmers, too stingy to buy something more expensive. It was about $6, and I was pushed for time. Still longing for the $60 Elizabeth Arden mascara I got to buy through a Vault many moons ago, I've felt lacklustre about other mascara ever since.
So, what's it like? As good as any other mascara I've tried, and better than many.
The brush is skinny enough to get into the corners where my mini-lashes live. The colour is black. The formula is not waterproof but lasts perfectly through a sweaty gym session or a humid summer day, of which we've had too many lately. It only smudges if I somehow forget I'm wearing makeup and rub my eyes. It's not gluggy or thick in texture, and is still non-clumping after I've been using it every day for a number of months. I've forgotten how long ago I bought it - sometime in winter, so at least 6 months. It goes on clean and defines the lashes, thickening them up just enough that they still look natural. If I bothered to wait a moment, I could add more coats for thicker looking lashes, but I'm a low maintenance makeup chick.
Would I recommend to others? Definitely! Would I buy again? Yes Siree!
