Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

Omg when i first applpied this i fell in love! my skin looked flawless, the finish was beautiful and it lasted a while night in town but the next day i woke up (drunkenly forgot to take it off) and had broken out soo bad im so guttered!

I love this foundation so much. I've only just started using this after i got a 10 day sample i had to buy the full bottle.

At first I was skeptical that this would be a full coverage foundation because of the runny consistancy, but it covered all my blemishes spots and redness.

It lasted all day and I didn't need a touch up or have to reapply. It didn't leave any streaking or make it feel as if it was caked on. I only had to use a small amount And that was definitely enough.

Don't have anything bad to say about this foundation and I'm so happy I found this one :)

I decided to go get a 10 day trial of this from my local Estee Lauder retailer which is life pharmacy in New Plymouth. I am in the shade 1C1 and have no idea what the actual shade is called. This shade was the perfect match with me and I was super happy that they had one that matched me. As I could only find a shade that matched me perfectly from Revlon. I find that the formula is absolutely amazing it makes my skin look flawless and fabulous. This is the first ever foundation I have used with a matte formula and actually prefer it over a dewy formula. I have found that I don't think the sample is 10 days worth but I am not to fussed about it as it was free. I find that the formula covers the redness I have in my face. I would definitely purchase a full size of this foundation even though it has a big price tag. Also, this foundation hasn't made me break out which I am super happy about due to bring told from the consultant that color matched me that it can cause acne.

In LOVE. I got the ten day trial of this foundation and I am in serious need of some cash so I can purchase this again and again and again! I got mine in 1N1, and it matched me perfectly! Because I have such incredibly fair skin, I always struggle to find foundations that are actually light enough for me (honestly, MAC NW15 & NC15 are still too dark) but this stuff is perfect. The coverage and finish are flawless, the lasting power is sensational. I suffer for PTSD, so I have regular panic attacks which cause me to overheat and sweat alot on my face, and this doesn't run, doesn't fade, it remains perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great, long wearing foundation. The only issue I have is the price. I understand that it's a expensive brand because it's such incredible quality, but c'mon, $75 for foundation? You're kidding me, right?

From minute one I was in love. Like fellow reviewers I have incredibly pale skin and find it nigh on impossible to find a shade which matches - they usually are too dark and look orange on me. This one however, oh my goodness, the shade I was matched was perfect! The love affair continued after that and by the end of the first day it hadn't run or oxidised and had a very natural, non cakey look. Unfortunately it made me break out. I kept using it hoping it was something else, anything else, but it wasn't so I had to stop using it. I thought it was wonderful and would recommend it to any of my friends, with a warning for the ones with sensitive skin.

I don't think i can rave enough about this product! It is on the expensive side but that small bottle would last months! The tiniest amount covers my entire face and leaves it looking so flawless. Covers blemishes perfectly without barely any liquid. It is so lightweight and feels really smooth and quite matte on the skin. I even showered in it and it stayed put. So in love!

This foundation has an amazing stay power. The colour selection in NZ isnt anywhere near as wide as overseas so definitely get a colour match and tester as it is quite pricey! But you do not need a lot of this foundation and it is build able. I am very pale and the colour is still a lilttle off for me but its the best i could get in nz to match me :) I can see why this isnt for everyone though, does stick to dry patches and hairs. I still get oily by the end of my 9 hour days if I dont use powder, but no where near as bad as any other foundations I've tried.

... I've found a foundation that I am really, really please with. I too took advantage of the 10-day trial and after a few days I knew I had found a product that really suited me. The lady at the pharmacy was fantastic, really helpful and patient. I think a good foundation brush is always the best way to apply for good coverage; this goes on easily, lasts all day and doesn't slide off. My favourite blusher looks amazing too. As for cleansing - perfect, easy to take off with my trusted Nivea cleanser. I'm going to bed with a clean face, no residue at all. It is reasonably expensive, however a little goes a long way and my foundation will last a long time. I'm altogether very happy with this and will keep using it.

It gives good coverage and is build-able, it lasts about 8 hours without touch up, my skin is next to perfect from using this and it gives the most amazing healthy looking glow - it's a bit pricey at $69 but well worth it! I also don't need powder or anything on top ONLY THIS I so recommend it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE This is my new holy grail foundation I just tried the free 10 day sample promotion that is going on and loved it. This foundation is full coverage and a little bit goes a long way! it is long wearing and wont smudge off onto your clothes (or your boyfriends clothes :). ) It gives a matte finish so if you have dry skin this foundation may not be for you, I use a really hydrating moisturiser underneath without a primer and it glides on perfectly. This foundation is perfect for special occasions or nights out as it wont smudge and will stay in place. They have a range of colours from light to dark I love this range!!
