I was a little disappointed with this foundation. Applying it with a brush left my skin very dry and cakey looking. I applied it next time with a damp beauty blender and this was helpful. After couple of weeks using this foundation I was breaking out a lot around my cheeks and my skin was very red and dehydrated. I don't have particularly sensitive skin so I was surprised at the way my skin was reacting. The staying power of this Foundation is very good. I would still use this for the odd occasion I need a full and long lasting coverage but it is definitely not something I would reach for on a daily basis or for regular use. Wouldn't recommend for dry or sensitive skin at all.

I wouldn’t use this as an everyday foundation, just because it’s so expensive and I went through the bottle very quickly! However, I’ve also managed to find far cheaper foundations that offer similar quality
I have used this foundation daily for years now. I have have very red cheeks & could never find a foundation that had great coverage/lasted. I use the powder aswell and they both last me months!
Tips: Purchase from farmers at gift time & get the free make up bag & extra goodies! (Usually stock up & buy 2 foundations or a foundation & powder!) Set for months!
Love how this double wear feels when it's on I feel like a new me..it gives me that coverage i need and not only that it's long lasting.
Tips: Apply with beauty blender
Really top tier queen of foundations. It's viral and famous as it should be. Long lasting and lovely on my skin! You won't regret this purchase.
Tips: Remember to use the same ingredient primer with your foundation! Do not use a water based primer with an oil based foundation, vice versa!
This is my favourite after trying many other brands, the finish is light yet covers imperfections very well. My skin doesn't feel like it has a thick layer of foundation like most other brands I've tried and I don't need to use much to get great results. It smells amazing too.
Tips: I apply with a foundation brush to start with then finish off with a blender or my fingers.
Love this foundation. So many shades for all skin tones ( it can be a little confusing to find a shade but once you do it’s worth it). You can get a great coverage without it feeling thick and heavy. Smooth even completion and easy to blend! It’s definitely m a star product for me.
Tips: Use a damp beauty blender or a damp dense brush to get a smooth application and let it set down a bit befor lightly dusting with you’re favourite setting powder ( not to much as it sets pretty well!)
I adore everything about this foundation except the price. But I have to say it's most definitely worth it.
My first experience with this it had been custom mixed at a promotion to match my skin tone and because of my age, the MUA took this approach coz every young woman needs a strong foundation that can take her from work all the way to the club with minimal touch ups.
That sounded like a dream and I did not believe them what-so-ever. Thank god it was a free sample.
Ladies, let me tell you "Double Wear" is not a marketing trick. In summer, this was the only foundation that didn't melt off. It doesn't feel thick or cakey when its applied. and touch ups? Forget them. It doesn't split or crack or give you a horriffic surprise when you next see your reflection.
This is honestly a bottle of magic. Estee Lauder have absolutly nailed it with this formula, especially the range of skin tones. I adore the matte finish. This is the kind of product that is worth paying extra for, even if you don't typically spend alot on makeup. It's an investment that pays truly pays off.
Tips: I'm not sure if its just my skin but I always found this applied much nicer when using a damp beauty blender. You still get an amazing finish with your hands or a brush, but the BB makes it next level.
I put tis on at 7am and come home at 7.30 some days and, even without touch up, it still looks great! And a huge range of shades to match perfectly!
Tips: I have dry to combination skin, so have to make sure to moisturize pretty heavily before putting this one, as it can cling to dry patches.
Overall I was disappointed with this product. My main issue with it is that I bought it in the second lightest cool toned shade by I end up with this orange tint that does not suit me at all. Not sure if this is oxidation or just a bad colour. It's not the first light cool toned foundation that has given me this problem. Another thing I dislike about it is that I'd heard this foundation "looks like skin" but this was the opposite experience for me. Up close my skin looked cakey and oily (more oily than if I wasn't wearing this) and unnatural even when applying medium coverage with acne scars still visible. The only time I ever wear this foundation is on a night out where the lighting is dim. This is the only time I can get away with the orange tint and the oily/cakey look. Also, this product is very difficult to remove. I struggled to remove it with 2 different makeup removes one being my trusty micellar water. Removing this requires lots of cotton pads, makeup remover, and then a thorough cleanse with a good cleanser. I will say this product is definitely water resistant and transfer resistant. And finally, although this product says it is non acnegenic this is misleading as it is comedogenic. Gives me breakouts after I use it. :// And so I barely ever use it now. Waste of money on such an expensive foundation that so many people have raved about.
Tips: You don't need to buy the pump, just tip out a little at a time.
